Luke 14:3-6 καὶ (And) ἀποκριθεὶς (answering), ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) εἶπεν (spoke) πρὸς (to) τοὺς (the) νομικοὺς (lawyers) καὶ (and) Φαρισαίους (to the Pharisees), λέγων (saying), “Ἔξεστιν (Is it lawful) τῷ (on the) σαββάτῳ (Sabbath) θεραπεῦσαι (to heal) ἢ (or) οὔ (not)?”

Καὶ (And) ἐπιλαβόμενος (having taken hold of him), ἰάσατο (He healed) αὐτὸν (him) καὶ (and) ἀπέλυσεν (let him go). ⁵ καὶ (And) πρὸς (to) αὐτοὺς (them) εἶπεν (He said), “Τίνος (Which) ὑμῶν (of you) υἱὸς (a son) ἢ (or) βοῦς (an ox) εἰς (into) φρέαρ (a pit) πεσεῖται (will fall), καὶ (also) οὐκ (not) εὐθέως (immediately) ἀνασπάσει (he will pull up) αὐτὸν (him) ἐν (on) ἡμέρᾳ (day) τοῦ (the) σαββάτου (Sabbath)?” ⁶ Καὶ (And) οὐκ (not) ἴσχυσαν (they were able) ἀνταποκριθῆναι (to reply) πρὸς (to) ταῦτα (these things).
