Leviticus 21:1-7 And the LORD said to Moses, Speak to the priests the sons of Aaron, and say to them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:

2 H7607 But for his kin, H7138 that is near H517 to him, that is, for his mother, H1 and for his father, H1121 and for his son, H1323 and for his daughter, H251 and for his brother.

3 H269 And for his sister H1330 a virgin, H7138 that is near H834 to him, which H1961 has had H3808 no H376 husband; H2930 for her may he be defiled.

4 H2930 But he shall not defile H1167 himself, being a chief H1167 man H5971 among his people, H2490 to profane himself.

5 H7144 They shall not make baldness H7218 on their head, H3808 neither H1548 shall they shave H6285 off the corner H2206 of their beard, H3808 nor H8296 make any cuttings H1320 in their flesh.

6 H6918 They shall be holy H430 to their God, H2490 and not profane H8034 the name H430 of their God: H3068 for the offerings of the LORD H3899 made by fire, and the bread H430 of their God, H7126 they do offer: H6944 therefore they shall be holy.

7 H3947 They shall not take H802 a wife H2181 that is a whore, H2491 or profane; H3808 neither H3947 shall they take H802 a woman H1644 put H376 away from her husband: H6918 for he is holy H430 to his God.
