Judges 13:20-23 For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground.

20 H1961 For it came H3851 to pass, when the flame H5927 went H8064 up toward heaven H5921 from off H4196 the altar, H4397 that the angel H3068 of the LORD H5927 ascended H3851 in the flame H4196 of the altar. H4495 And Manoah H802 and his wife H7200 looked H5307 on it, and fell H5921 on H6440 their faces H776 to the ground.

21 H4397 But the angel H3068 of the LORD H3808 did no H3254 more H7200 appear H4495 to Manoah H802 and to his wife. H227 Then H4495 Manoah H3045 knew H4397 that he was an angel H3068 of the LORD.

22 H4495 And Manoah H559 said H802 to his wife, H4191 We shall surely die, H3588 because H7200 we have seen H430 God.

23 H802 But his wife H559 said H3863 to him, If H3068 the LORD H2654 were pleased H4191 to kill H3947 us, he would not have received H5930 a burnt H4503 offering H3027 and a meat offering at our hands, H3808 neither H7200 would he have showed H3605 us all H428 these H1697 things, H3808 nor H6256 would as at this time H8085 have told H1697 us such things H2063 as these.
