1 Timothy 5:4-8

  5:4   1487-1161 ει δε And if 5100 τις any 5503 χήρα widow 5043 τέκνα [²children 2228 η ³or 1549 έκγονα ⁴progeny 2192 έχει ¹has], 3129 μανθανέτωσαν let them learn 4412 πρώτον first 3588 τον   2398 ίδιον [²for their own 3624 οίκον ³house 2151 ευσεβείν ¹to be pious], 2532 και and 287 αμοιβάς [²a repayment 591 αποδιδόναι ¹to repay] 3588 τοις to their 4269 προγόνοις precursors! 3778-1063 τούτο γαρ for this 1510.2.3 εστι is 2570 καλόν good 2532 και and 587 απόδεκτον worthy of being received 1799 ενώπιον before 3588 του   2316 θεού God.   5:5   3588-1161 η δε And the one 3689 όντως really 5503 χήρα a widow, 2532 και and 3443 μεμονωμένη being left alone, 1679 ήλπικεν has hope 1909 επί in 3588 τον   2316 θεόν God, 2532 και and 4357 προσμένει remains 3588 ταις in the 1162 δεήσεσι supplications 2532 και and 3588 ταις in the 4335 προσευχαίς prayers 3571 νυκτός night 2532 και and 2250 ημέρας day.   5:6   3588-1161 η δε But the one 4684 σπαταλώσα living extravagantly, 2198 ζώσα while living, 2348 τέθνηκε has died.   5:7   2532 και And 3778 ταύτα these things 3853 παράγγελλε exhort, 2443 ίνα that 423-1510.3 ανεπίληπτοι ώσιν they should be unassailable!   5:8   1487-1161 ει δε And if 5100 τις any 3588 των   2398 ιδίων [³of his own 2532 και ⁴and 3122 μάλιστα ⁵especially 3588 των ⁶of the ones 3609 οικείων ⁷of his family 3756 ου ¹does not 4306 προνοεί ²think beforehand], 3588 την [²the 4102 πίστιν ³belief 720 ήρνηται ¹he has denied], 2532 και and 1510.2.3 έστιν is 571 απίστου [²unbelieving 5501 χείρων ¹worse than].
