Are you Elijah? And he said, I am not. Are you the Prophet? And he answered, No. ²² Then they said to him, Who are you, that we may give an answer to those sending us? What do you say about yourself? ²³ He said, "I am a voice crying in the wilderness:" "Make straight" "the way of the Lord," as Isaiah the prophet said. Isa. 40:3 ²⁴ And those who had been sent were of the Pharisees. ²⁵ And they asked him and said to him, Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet? ²⁶ John answered them, saying, I baptize in water, but One stands in your midst whom you do not know; ²⁷ This One it is who has come after me, who has been before me, of whom I am not worthy that I should loose the thong of His sandal. ²⁸ These things took place in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. ²⁹ On the morrow, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, taking away the sin of the world! ³⁰ This is He about whom I said, After me comes a Man who has been before me, for He was preceding me. ³¹ And I did not know Him; but that He be revealed to Israel, for this reason I came baptizing in water. ³² And John witnessed, saying, I have seen the Spirit coming down as a dove out of Heaven, and He abode on Him. ³³ And I did not know Him, but the One sending me to baptize in water, that One said to me, On whomever you see the Spirit coming down and abiding on Him, this is the One baptizing in the Holy Spirit. ³⁴ And I have seen and have witnessed that this One is the Son of God. ³⁵ Again on the morrow, John and two from his disciples stood. ³⁶ And looking at Jesus walking, he said, Behold, the Lamb of God! ³⁷ And the two disciples heard him speaking, and they followed Jesus. ³⁸ But having seen them following, Jesus said to them, What do you seek? And they said to Him, Rabbi (which being translated is called Teacher), where do You stay? ³⁹ He said to them, Come and see. They went and saw where He stayed, and they remained with Him that day. And the hour was about the tenth. ⁴⁰ Andrew the brother of Simon Peter was one of the two who heard from John and was following Him. ⁴¹ This one first found his own brother Simon and tells him, We have found the Messiah (which being translated is, the Christ). ⁴² And he led him to Jesus. And looking at him, Jesus said, You are Simon the son of Jonah; you shall be called Cephas (which translated is Peter). ⁴³ And on the morrow, Jesus desired to go out into Galilee. And He found Philip, and says to him, Follow me! ⁴⁴ And Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter. ⁴⁵ Philip finds Nathanael and said to him, We have found the One of whom Moses wrote in the Law and the Prophets, Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth. ⁴⁶ And Nathanael said to him, Can any good thing be out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see. ⁴⁷ Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said concerning him, Behold, truly an Israelite in whom is no guile! ⁴⁸ Nathanael said to Him, From where do You know me? Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip called, you being under the fig tree, I saw you. ⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel. ⁵⁰ Jesus answered and said to him, Because I said to you I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these. ⁵¹ And He says to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, from now on you will see Heaven opened, and "the angels of God ascending and descending" on the Son of man. ¹ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth;

⁶ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness.

²² Jehovah possessed me in the beginning of His way, from then, before His works. ²³ I was set up from everlasting, from that which was before the earth. ²⁴ When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no springs heavy with water. ²⁵ Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I was brought forth; ²⁶ before He had made the earth and the fields, or the highest part of the dust of the world. ²⁷ When He prepared the heavens, I was there; when He set a circle on the face of the deep, ²⁸ when He set the clouds above, when He made the strong fountains of the deep, ²⁹ when He gave to the sea its limit, that the waters should not beyond His command; when He decreed the foundations of the earth, ³⁰ then I was at His side, like a master workman; and I was His delights day by day, rejoicing before Him at every time; ³¹ rejoicing in the world, His earth; and my delight was with the sons of men.

¹⁴ So, The Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold! The virgin will conceive and will bring forth a son; and she shall call His name Immanuel.

⁶ For a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.

⁹ You who bring good news to Zion, go up for yourself on the high mountain, bringer of good news to Zion. Lift up your voice with strength, bringer of good news to Jerusalem. Lift up; do not fear. Say to the cities of Judah, Behold! Your God! ¹⁰ Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come with strength, and His arm rules for Him. Behold, His reward is with Him, and His wage before Him. ¹¹ He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; He shall gather lambs with His arm; and carry them in His bosom; those with young He will lead;

²³ "Behold! The virgin will conceive in her womb and will bear a son, and they will call His name Emmanuel" (which translated is, God with us). Isa. 7:14

² He was in the beginning with God.

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and of truth.

¹⁸ No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, that One reveals Him .

³⁰ I and the Father are one! ³¹ Then again the Jews took up stones, that they might stone Him. ³² Jesus answered them, I showed you many good works from My Father. ⁹ and to bring to light all, what is the fellowship of the mystery having been hidden from eternity in God, the One creating all things through Jesus Christ,

⁶ who subsisting in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God,

¹⁷ And He is before all things, and all things consist in Him.

¹⁶ And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in flesh, was justified in Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

¹³ looking for the blessed hope and appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

¹ Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those equally precious with us, having obtained faith in the righteousness of our God and our Savior, Jesus Christ:

¹ We announce to you what was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we beheld, and what our hands touched, as regards the Word of Life. ² And the Life was revealed, and we have seen, and we bear witness, and we announce to you the everlasting Life which was with the Father, and was revealed to us.

⁷ For there are three bearing witness in Heaven: the Father the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given to us an understanding that we may know the true One, and we are in the true One, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and the life everlasting.

² who testified of the Word of God and the witness of Jesus Christ, even as many things as he saw.

⁸ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, says the Lord, the One who is, and who was, and who is coming, the Almighty.

¹¹ saying, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last; also, What you see, write in a scroll, and send to the seven churches of Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.

¹⁷ And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet, as dead. And He put His right hand on me, saying to me, Do not fear. I am the First and the Last,

⁸ And to the angel of the church of Smyrna, write: These things says the First and the Last, who became dead, and lived:

¹² I have made the earth, and created man on it. I stretched out the heavens with My hands; and I have set all their host in order.

¹⁸ For so says Jehovah, Creator of the heavens; He is God, forming the earth and making it; He makes it stand, not creating it empty, but forming it to be inhabited. I am Jehovah, and there is none else.

¹⁰ He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, yet the world did not know Him.

¹⁷ But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work. ¹⁸ Because of this, therefore, the Jews lusted the more to kill Him, for not only did He break the sabbath, but also called God His own Father, making Himself equal to God. ¹⁹ Then Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is not able to do anything from Himself, except what He may see the Father doing; for whatever that One does, these things also the Son does the same way.

⁶ but to us is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we by Him.

¹⁶ For all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible; whether thrones, or lordships, or rulers, or authorities, all things have been created through Him and for Him. ¹⁷ And He is before all things, and all things consist in Him.

² in these last days He spoke to us in the Son, whom He appointed heir of all; through whom He indeed made the ages; ³ who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the word of His power, having made purification of our sins through Himself, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high, Psa. 110:1

¹⁰ And, "You, Lord, at the beginning founded the earth, and the heavens are works of Your hands. ¹¹ They will vanish away, but You will continue; and they will all become old, like a garment, ¹² and You shall fold them up like a covering, and they shall be changed. ³ For He was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by so much as the one having built the house has more honor than the house. ⁴ For every house is built by someone; but He who built all things is God.

¹¹ Lord, You are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because You created all things, and through Your will they exist and were created.

⁶ Those who trust in their wealth, and in their many riches, boast themselves.

¹ To the chief musician. On the Lily of Testimony. A secret treasure of David, to teach; when he struggled with Aram-naharaim, and with Aram-zobah; when Joab returned, and struck twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt. O God! You cast us off; You broke us; You who were angry; take us back. ² You made the earth tremble; You tore it; heal its breaks, for it is shaking. ³ You have shown Your people hardship; You made us drink the wine of trembling.

¹¹ For Jehovah God is a sun and shield; Jehovah will give grace and glory; He will withhold nothing good from those who walk in integrity.

⁴ Say to those of a hasty heart, Be strong! Do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance; with the full dealing of God, He will come and save you. ⁵ Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf opened.

⁶ I, Jehovah, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand, and will keep You, and give You for a covenant of the people, for a Light of the nations; ⁷ to open blind eyes, to deliver the prisoner from the prison; those who sit in darkness from the prison.

¹⁶ And I will lead the blind by a way they knew not; I will lead them in paths they never knew; I will make darkness into light before them, and crooked places a level place. I do these things to them and do not forsake them;

² But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall rise up, and healing will be on His wings. And you shall go out and frisk like calves of the stall.

¹⁶ the people sitting in the darkness saw a great Light; and to those sitting in the region and shadow of death, Light sprang up to them." Isa. 9:1, 2

⁷⁸ through the tender bowels of mercy of our God, in which the Dayspring from on high will visit us, ⁷⁹ to appear to those sitting in darkness and in shadow of death, to direct our feet into the way of peace. Isa. 9:2

³² a Light for revelation to the nations, and the Glory of Your people Israel.

⁸ He was not that Light, but that he might witness concerning the Light. ⁹ He was the true Light; He enlightens every man coming into the world.

²¹ For even as the Father raises the dead, and gives life, so also the Son gives life to whomever He wills.

²⁶ For even as the Father has life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to have life in Himself.

¹² Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. The one following Me will in no way walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.

⁵ While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.

²⁵ Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life. The one believing into Me, though he die, he shall live.

³⁵ Then Jesus said to them, Yet a little while the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light, that darkness not overtake you. And the one walking in the darkness does not know where he is going.

⁴⁶ I have come as a Light to the world, that everyone who believes into Me may not remain in the darkness.

⁶ Jesus said to him, I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

²³ that Christ was to suffer, that by a resurrection of the dead He was first going to proclaim light to the people and to the nations.

⁴⁵ So also it has been written, "The" first "man", Adam, "became a living soul;" the last Adam a life-giving Spirit. Gen. 2:7

¹⁴ Because of this, He says, Arise, sleeping ones and stand up out of the dead ones, and Christ will shine on you. No OT passage

⁴ Whenever Christ our life is revealed, then also you will be revealed with Him in glory.

² And the Life was revealed, and we have seen, and we bear witness, and we announce to you the everlasting Life which was with the Father, and was revealed to us.

⁵ And this is the message which we have heard from Him, and we announce to you: God is light, and no darkness is in Him, none! ⁶ If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and we walk in darkness, we lie and are not practicing the truth. ⁷ But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of His Son Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.

¹¹ And this is the witness: that God gave us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son.

¹ And he showed me a pure river of water of life, bright as crystal, coming forth out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

¹³ They are among rebellers against light; they do not recognize His ways, nor do they stay in His paths. ¹⁴ The murderer rising with the light kills the poor and needy, and in the night he is a thief. ¹⁵ And the adulterer's eye keeps watch for twilight, saying, No eye will see me; and he puts a covering on his face. ¹⁶ In the dark he digs through houses; they shut themselves up by day; they do not know the light. ¹⁷ For alike are morning and the shadow of death to them; for he knows the terrors of death shadow.

²² How long will you love to be simple, you simple ones? And will scorners desire scorn for themselves? And will fools hate knowledge?

¹⁹ And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the Light, for their works were evil. ²⁰ For everyone practicing wickedness hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, that his works may not be exposed.

³⁶ While you have the Light, believe into the Light, that you may become sons of Light. Jesus spoke these things, and going away He was hidden from them. ³⁷ But though He had done so many miracles before them, they did not believe into Him, ³⁸ so that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he said, "Lord, who has believed our report? And the arm of the Lord, to whom was it revealed?" Isa. 53:1 ³⁹ Because of this they could not believe, because Isaiah said again, ⁴⁰ "He has blinded their eyes" and "has hardened their heart," "that they might not see with the eyes" and "understand with the heart," "and be converted," "and I should heal them." Isa. 6:10

²⁸ And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right,

¹⁴ But a natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

³ The voice of him who cries in the wilderness: Prepare the way of Jehovah; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. ⁴ Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the knoll shall be a level place, and the rough places a plain. ⁵ And the glory of Jehovah shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of Jehovah has spoken.

¹ Behold, I am sending My messenger, and He will clear the way before Me. And the Lord whom you are seeking shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Angel of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He comes, says Jehovah of hosts.

⁵ Behold, I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Jehovah. ⁶ And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the sons, and the heart of the sons to their fathers, that I not come and strike the earth with utter destruction. END OF THE OLD TESTAMENT

¹ Now in those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, ² and saying, Repent! For the kingdom of Heaven has drawn near. ³ For this is he spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord! Make His paths straight!" Isa. 40:3 ⁴ And John himself had his clothing from hairs of a camel, and a belt of leather about his loin. And his food was locusts and wild honey. ⁵ Then Jerusalem and all Judea went out to him, and all the neighborhood of the Jordan, ⁶ and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins. ⁷ But seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, Offspring of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? ⁸ Therefore, bring forth fruits worthy of repentance. ⁹ And do not think to say within yourselves, We have a father, Abraham. For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. ¹⁰ But already the axe is even laid at the root of the trees; therefore, any tree not bringing forth good fruit is cut down and is thrown into fire. ¹¹ I indeed baptize you in water to repentance; but He who is coming after me is stronger than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire,

¹⁰ For this is the one about whom it has been written: "Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who shall prepare Your way before You." Mal. 3:1

²⁵ The baptism of John, from where was it? From Heaven, or from men? And they reasoned among themselves, saying, If we shall say, From Heaven, He will say to us, Why then did you not believe him?

¹ The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, ² as it has been written in the Prophets, "Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You; ³ the voice of one crying in the wilderness. Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight." Mal. 3:1; Isa. 40:3 ⁴ John came baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for remission of sins. ⁵ And all the Judean country and those of Jerusalem went out to him, and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins. ⁶ And John was clothed in camel's hair, and a leather girdle about his loin, and eating locusts and wild honey. ⁷ And he proclaimed, saying, He who comes after me is mightier than I, of whom I am not fit to stoop down to loosen the thong of His sandals. ⁸ I indeed baptized you in water, but He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.

¹³ But the angel said to him, Do not fear, Zacharias, because your prayer was heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear a son to you, and you shall call his name John.

¹⁵ For he shall be great in the eyes of the Lord, and he shall not drink wine or strong drink. And he will be filled of the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. ¹⁶ And he will turn many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God. ¹⁷ And he will go out before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah "to turn the hearts of fathers to their children," and disobedient ones to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people having been prepared for the Lord. ² upon the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came on John the son of Zacharias in the desert. ³ And he came into the neighborhood of the Jordan proclaiming a baptism of repentance for remission of sins, ⁴ as it has been written in the roll of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying: " the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight. ⁵ every valley shall be filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked places shall be made into straight, and the rough into smooth ways;" ⁶ "and all flesh shall see the salvation of God." And he said to them, Do not shake violently anyone nor accuse falsely, and be satisfied with your pay. ¹⁵ But the people were expecting, and all reasoning in their hearts about John, lest perhaps he is the Christ, ¹⁶ John answered all, saying, I indeed baptize you with water; but He stronger than I comes, of whom I am not fit to loosen the thong of His sandals. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire, ¹⁷ whose sifting fan is in His hand; and He will fully purge His threshing-floor, and will gather the wheat into His barn, but He will burn: the chaff with fire that cannot be put out. ¹⁸ And then indeed exhorting many different things, he preached the gospel to the people. ¹⁹ But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him concerning his brother Philip's wife, Herodias, and concerning all the evil things Herod did, ²⁰ he also added this above all, he even shut up John in the prison.

³³ And I did not know Him, but the One sending me to baptize in water, that One said to me, On whomever you see the Spirit coming down and abiding on Him, this is the One baptizing in the Holy Spirit.

²⁸ You yourselves witness to me that I said, I am not the Christ, but that having been sent, I am going before that One.

²⁴ John going before to proclaim before the face of His entrance a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

⁹ He was the true Light; He enlightens every man coming into the world.

¹² But as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become children of God, to the ones believing into His name,

¹⁵ John witnesses concerning Him, and has cried out, saying, This One was He of whom I said, He coming after me has been before me, for He was preceding me.

¹⁹ And this is the witness of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites that they might ask him, Who are you?

²⁶ John answered them, saying, I baptize in water, but One stands in your midst whom you do not know; ²⁷ This One it is who has come after me, who has been before me, of whom I am not worthy that I should loose the thong of His sandal.

³² And John witnessed, saying, I have seen the Spirit coming down as a dove out of Heaven, and He abode on Him. ³³ And I did not know Him, but the One sending me to baptize in water, that One said to me, On whomever you see the Spirit coming down and abiding on Him, this is the One baptizing in the Holy Spirit. ³⁴ And I have seen and have witnessed that this One is the Son of God.

³⁶ And looking at Jesus walking, he said, Behold, the Lamb of God!

²⁶ And they came to John and said to him, Teacher, the one who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have witnessed, behold, this one baptizes, and all are coming to Him. ²⁷ John answered and said, A man is able to receive nothing unless it has been given to him from Heaven. ²⁸ You yourselves witness to me that I said, I am not the Christ, but that having been sent, I am going before that One. ²⁹ The one having the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, standing and hearing him, rejoices with joy because of the bridegroom's voice. Then this my joy has been fulfilled. ³⁰ That One must increase, but I must decrease. ³¹ The One coming from above is above all. The one being of the earth is earthy, and speaks of the earth. The One coming out of Heaven is above all. ³² And what He has seen and heard, this He testifies, and no one receives His testimony. ³³ The one receiving His testimony has sealed that God is true. ³⁴ For the One whom God sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. ³⁵ The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. ³⁶ The one believing into the Son has everlasting life; but the one disobeying the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

³³ You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth. ³⁴ But I do not receive witness from man, but I say these things that you may be saved. ³⁵ That one was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to exult in his light for an hour.

⁴ And Paul said, John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe into the One coming after him, that is, into the Christ, Jesus.

⁴ who desires all men to be delivered and to come to a full knowledge of truth.

¹¹ For the saving grace of God has appeared to all men,

⁹ The Lord of the promise is not slow, as some deem slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not having purposed any of us to perish, but all of us to come to repentance.

²⁰ And he acknowledged and did not deny; yea, he acknowledged, I am not the Christ.

²⁰ To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no dawn to them!

⁶ And He said, It is too little that You should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You for a light of the nations, that You may be My salvation to the end of the earth.

²³ But if your eye is evil, all your body is dark. If, then, the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

⁴ In Him was life, and the life was the light of men;

⁷ He came for a witness, that he might witness concerning the Light, that all might believe through Him.

³² Then Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Moses has not given you the bread out of Heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread out of Heaven.

¹² And much murmuring about Him was in the crowds. Some said, He is a good one; but others said, No, but he deceives the crowd.

¹ I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser.

⁴ But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that the Day should overtake you as a thief. ⁵ You are all sons of light and sons of day; we are not of night, nor of darkness. ⁶ So then, we should not sleep, as the rest also do, but we should watch and be sober. ⁷ For those sleeping sleep by night, and those having been drunk are drunk by night.

⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

⁸ Again I write a new commandment to you which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true Light already shines.

⁶ And Jehovah said, Behold, the people is one, and the lip one to all of them, and this they are beginning to do, and now all which they have purposed to do will not be restrained from them. ⁷ Come, let Us go down and confuse their language so that they cannot understand one another's speech. ⁸ And Jehovah scattered them from there, over the face of all the earth. And they stopped building the city. ⁹ On account of this its name is called Babel, because Jehovah confused the language of all the earth there. And Jehovah scattered them abroad from there on the face of all the earth.

¹³ And she called the name of Jehovah, the One speaking to her, You, a God of vision! For she said, Even here I have looked after the One seeing me?

¹ And when Abram was ninety nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before me and be perfect;

³³ And when Jehovah had finished speaking to Abraham, then Abraham returned to his place.

⁴ And Jehovah saw that he turned aside to see, and God called to him from the midst of the thorn bush, and said, Moses! Moses! And he said, Behold me. ⁵ And He said, Do not come near here pull off your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground. ⁶ And He said, I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he feared to look upon God.

¹¹ So you shall say to them, The gods who have not made the heavens and the earth, they shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens. ¹² It is He who made the earth by His power, who established the world by His wisdom, and who stretched out the heavens by His understanding.

²⁷ All things were yielded up to Me by My Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father; nor does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him .

⁵ and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.

¹⁷ But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work.

²⁵ Righteous Father, indeed the world did not know You, but I knew You; and these have known that You sent Me.

¹⁷ though indeed He did not leave Himself without witness, doing good, giving rain and fruitful seasons to us from heaven, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

²⁴ The God who made the world and all things in it, this One being Lord of Heaven and of earth, does not dwell in handmade temples, ²⁵ nor is served by hands of men, as having need of anything. For He is giving life and breath and all things to all. ²⁶ And He made every nation of men of one blood, to live on all the face of the earth, ordaining fore-appointed seasons and boundaries of their dwelling, ²⁷ to seek the Lord, if perhaps they might feel after Him and might find Him, though indeed He not being far from each one of us.

²¹ For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom did not know God, God was pleased through the foolishness of preaching to save the ones believing.

⁸ which none of the rulers of this age has known. For if they had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;

³ By faith we understand the ages to have been framed by the word of God, so that the things seen should not come into being out of things that appear.

¹ See what manner of love the Father has given us, that we may be called children of God. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

² For He comes up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form nor magnificence that we should see Him; nor form that we should desire Him. ³ He is despised and abandoned of men, a Man of pains, and acquainted with sickness. And as it were hiding our faces from Him, He being despised, and we did not value Him.

²⁴ But answering, He said, I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

¹⁴ But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, We do not desire this one to reign over us.

¹³ And the lord of the vineyard said, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. Perhaps seeing this one, they will respect him . ¹⁴ And seeing him, the vinedressers reasoned with themselves, saying, This is the heir. Come let us kill him so that the inheritance may become ours. ¹⁵ And throwing him out of the vineyard, they killed him . Therefore, what will the Lord of the vineyard do to them?

³² And what He has seen and heard, this He testifies, and no one receives His testimony.

²⁵ You are sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God appointed to our fathers, saying to Abraham, "Even in your Seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed." Gen. 22:18 ²⁶ Having raised up His child Jesus, God sent Him first to you, blessing you in turning away each one from your iniquities.

⁵¹ Oh stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and in the ears! You always fell against the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, you also did . ⁵² Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who before announced the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become betrayers and murderers,

²⁶ Men, brothers, sons of the race of Abraham, and the ones among you fearing God, to you the word of this salvation was sent.

⁴⁶ But speaking boldly, Paul and Barnabas said, It was necessary for the Word of God to be spoken first to you; but since you indeed thrust it away and judge yourselves not worthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the nations.

¹ I tell the truth in Christ, I do not lie, my conscience bearing witness with me in the Holy Spirit,

⁸ And I say, Jesus Christ has become a minister of circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises of the fathers,

⁴ But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, having come into being out of a woman, having come under Law,

⁵ I, even I will give to them in My house and in My walls a hand and a name better than sons and than daughters; I will give them an everlasting name which shall not be cut off.

¹⁹ But I said, How gladly would I put you among the sons, and give you a pleasant land, a beautiful inheritance among the multitudes of nations! And I said, You shall call Me, My Father; and you shall not turn away from Me.

¹⁰ Yet the number of the sons of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which is not measured nor numbered. And it shall be, in the place where it is said to them, You are not My people, it shall be said to them, Sons of the Living God.

⁴⁰ The one receiving you receives Me, and the one receiving Me receives Him who sent Me.

²¹ "And the nations will hope in His name." LXX-Isa. 42:4

⁵ And whoever will receive one such little child in My name receives Me.

²³ And as He was in Jerusalem, at the Passover, at the Feast, many believed into His name, seeing the miracles which He did.

¹⁸ The one believing into Him is not condemned; but the one not believing has already been condemned, for he has not believed into the name of the only begotten Son of God.

⁵² and not only on behalf of the nation, but that He also might gather into one the children of God who had been scattered.

³¹ But these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

¹⁶ And on the faith of His name, this one whom you see and know was made firm by His name, and the faith which came through Him gave to him this complete soundness before you all.

¹⁴ For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

¹⁷ Because of this, "come out from among them" "and be separated," says the Lord, "and do not touch the unclean thing," and I will receive you. Isa. 52:11 ¹⁸ "And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons" and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty. 2 Sam. 7:8, 14; Isa. 43:6

²⁶ for you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

⁶ And because you are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba! Father!

⁶ Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him,

⁴ by which means He has given to us the very great and precious promises, so that through these you might be partakers of the divine nature, escaping from the corruption in the world by lust.

²³ And this is His commandment, that we should believe the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as He gave command to us.

¹² The one having the Son has life. The one not having the Son of God does not have life. ¹³ I wrote these things to you, the ones believing in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have everlasting life, and that you may believe in the name of the Son of God.

²² And the sons struggled together within her. And she said, If this is right, why am I this way? And she went to ask Jehovah.

²⁸ And Isaac loved Esau, for game was in his mouth. And Rebekah loved Jacob.

⁴ And make for me delicious things, such as I love, and bring to me, and I will eat; so that my soul may bless you before I die.

³³ And Isaac was terrified with a very great anxiety. And he said, Who then was the one who hunted game and came to me; and I ate from it all before you came; and I blessed him? Yea, he shall be blessed.

³ Your people shall be willing in the day of Your power; in holy adornment from the womb of the dawn, to You is the dew of Your youth.

⁹ And do not think to say within yourselves, We have a father, Abraham. For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

³ Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth from above, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.

⁵ Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God. ⁶ That receiving birth from the flesh is flesh, and that receiving birth from the Spirit is spirit. ⁷ Do not wonder because I told you, You must receive birth from above. ⁸ The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice; but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone who has received birth from the Spirit.

³³ They answered Him, We are Abraham's seed, and we have been in slavery to no one, never! How do you say, You will become free? ³⁴ Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone practicing sin is a slave of sin. ³⁵ But the slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. ³⁶ Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. ³⁷ I know that you are Abraham's seed, but you seek to kill Me, because My Word has no place in you. ³⁸ I speak what I have seen with My Father. And you therefore do what you have seen with your father. ³⁹ They answered and said to Him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said to them, If you were children of Abraham, you would do the works of Abraham. ⁴⁰ But now you seek to kill Me, a man who has spoken the truth to you, which I heard alongside of God. Abraham did not do this. ⁴¹ You do the works of your father. They said to Him, We were not born of fornication; we have one father, God.

¹ I tell the truth in Christ, I do not lie, my conscience bearing witness with me in the Holy Spirit, ² that my grief is great, and a never ceasing pain is in my heart, ³ for I myself was wishing to be a curse from Christ on behalf of my brothers, my kinsmen according to flesh, ⁴ who are Israelites, whose are the adoption and the glory, and the covenants, and the Lawgiving, and the service, and the promises; ⁵ whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Christ according to flesh, He being God over all, blessed forever. Amen.

⁷ nor because they are Abraham's seed are all children, but "In Isaac a Seed shall be called to you." Gen. 21:12 ⁸ That is: Not the children of flesh are children of God, but the children of the promise are counted for a seed. ⁹ For the word of promise is this, According to this time I will come, and a son will be to Sarah. Gen. 18:10 ¹⁰ And not only so, but also Rebekah conceiving of one, our father Isaac, ¹¹ for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of the One calling, ¹² it was said to her, "The greater shall serve the lesser;" Gen. 25:23 ¹³ even as it has been written, "I loved Jacob, and I hated Esau." Mal. 1:2, 3 ¹⁴ What then shall we say? Is there not unrighteousness with God? Let it not be! ¹⁵ For He said to Moses, "I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will pity whomever I will pity." Ex. 33:19 ¹⁶ So, then, it is not of the one willing, nor of the one running, but of the One showing mercy, of God.

¹ Brothers, truly my heart's pleasure and supplication to God on behalf of Israel is for it to be saved. ² For I testify to them that they have zeal to God, but not according to knowledge. ³ For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.

⁶ I planted, Apollos watered, but God made to grow.

¹³ for it is God who is working in you both to will and to work for the sake of His good pleasure.

⁵ not by works in righteousness which we had done, but according to His mercy, He saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

¹⁸ Having purposed, He brought us forth by the word of truth, for us to be a certain firstfruit of His creatures.

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, He according to His great mercy having regenerated us to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

²³ having been born again, not by corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the living word of God, and remaining forever.

² as newborn babes desire the pure soul-nourishing milk, that you may grow by it;

²⁸ And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He is revealed we may have confidence, and not be shamed from Him in His coming. ²⁹ If you know that He is righteous, know that everyone doing righteousness has been born of Him.

⁹ Everyone who has been begotten of God does not sin, because His seed abides in him, and he is not able to sin, because he has been born of God.

⁷ Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God, and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God.

¹ Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. And everyone who loves Him who begets also loves the one who has been born of Him.

⁴ Because everything having been born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory overcoming the world, our faith.

¹⁸ We know that everyone having been born of God does not sin, but the one born of God keeps himself, and the evil does not touch him.

⁷ I will declare concerning the statute of Jehovah: He said to Me, You are My Son. Today I have begotten You.

² You are the fairest of the sons of man; grace has poured into Your lips; on this account God has blessed You forever.

⁵ And the glory of Jehovah shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of Jehovah has spoken.

² For He comes up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form nor magnificence that we should see Him; nor form that we should desire Him.

¹ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Jehovah has risen on you! ² For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples. But Jehovah shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you.

¹⁶ and Jacob fathered Joseph, the husband to be of Mary, out of whom Jesus was born, the One called Christ.

²⁰ And as he was thinking about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord was seen by him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For that in her is fathered by the Holy Spirit. ²¹ And she will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins. ²² And all this happened so that might be fulfilled that spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, ²³ "Behold! The virgin will conceive in her womb and will bear a son, and they will call His name Emmanuel" (which translated is, God with us). Isa. 7:14

¹ And after six days, Jesus took Peter and James, and his brother John, and brought them up into a high mountain apart. ² And He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became white as the light. ³ And, behold! Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. ⁴ And answering, Peter said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here. If You will, let us make three tents here, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah. ⁵ While he was yet speaking, behold, a radiant cloud overshadowed them. And, behold, a voice out of the cloud saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delight; hear Him. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1; Deut. 18:15

³¹ And behold! You will conceive in your womb and bear a Son, and you will call His name Jesus. ³² This One will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. ³³ And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and of His kingdom there will be no end. ³⁴ But Mariam said to the angel, How will this be since I do not know a man? ³⁵ And answering, the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you, and for this reason that Holy One being born of you will be called Son of God.

⁷ And she bore her son, the First-born. And she wrapped Him and laid Him in the manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

¹¹ because today a Savior, who is Christ the Lord, was born to you in the city of David.

³² But Peter and those with him were pressed down with sleep. But fully awakening, they saw His glory, and the two men standing with Him.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

¹⁶ And out of His fullness we all received, and grace on top of grace. ¹⁷ For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, that One reveals Him .

¹¹ This beginning of the miracles Jesus did in Cana of Galilee. And it revealed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

⁵¹ I am the Living Bread that came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever. And indeed the bread which I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

⁴⁰ Jesus said to her, Did I not say to you that if you would believe you will see the glory of God?

⁴⁰ "He has blinded their eyes" and "has hardened their heart," "that they might not see with the eyes" and "understand with the heart," "and be converted," "and I should heal them." Isa. 6:10 ⁴¹ Isaiah said these things when he saw His glory, and spoke about Him.

⁹ Jesus said to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one seeing Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father?

²² And I have given them the glory which You have given Me, that they may be one, as We are one:

³³ that this God has fulfilled to us, their children, raising up Jesus; as also it has been written in the second Psalm, "You are My Son, today I have begotten You." Psa. 2:7

³ concerning His Son who came of the seed of David according to flesh, ⁴ who was marked out Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by resurrection of the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord;

³ For the law being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,

⁴⁷ The first man was out of earth, earthy. The second Man was the Lord out of Heaven. Gen. 2:7

⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the unbelieving, so that the brightness of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. ⁵ For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves your slaves for the sake of Jesus. ⁶ Because it is God who said, "Out of darkness Light shall shine," who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16

⁹ And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will rather gladly boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may overshadow me.

⁸ This grace was given to me, less than the least of all the saints, to proclaim the gospel of the unsearchable riches of Christ among the nations,

¹⁸ that you may be given strength to grasp, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and depth and height, ¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.

⁶ who subsisting in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, ⁷ but emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, having become in the likeness of men ⁸ and being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, having become obedient until death, even the death of a cross.

¹⁹ because all the fullness was pleased to dwell in Him,

³ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and of knowledge.

⁹ For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

¹⁴ But the grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Faithful is the Word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. ¹⁶ But for this reason I received mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, for an example to those being about to believe on Him to everlasting life.

³ who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the word of His power, having made purification of our sins through Himself, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high, Psa. 110:1

⁵ For to which of the angels did He ever say, "You are My Son; today I have begotten You"? And again, "I will be a Father to Him, and He shall be a Son to Me." Psa. 2:7; 2 Sam. 7:16

¹¹ For both He sanctifying and the ones being sanctified are all of one; for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brothers,

¹⁴ Since, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, in like manner He Himself also shared the same things, that through death He might cause to cease the one having the power of death, (that is, the Devil); ¹⁵ and might set these free, as many as by fear of death were subject to slavery through all the time to live. ¹⁶ For indeed He does not take hold of angels, "but He takes hold of" " the seed of Abraham." Isa. 41:8, 9 ¹⁷ For this reason He ought by all means to become like His brothers, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the things respecting God, in order to make propitiation for the sins of His people.

⁵ So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become a high priest, but He speaking to Him, "You are My Son; today I have begotten You." Psa. 2:7

⁵ For this reason, coming into the world, He says, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You prepared a body for Me.

⁴ to whom having drawn near, a living Stone, indeed having been rejected by men, but chosen by God, precious; ⁵ you also as living stones are being built a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶ Because of this, it is also contained in the Scripture: "Behold," I lay in Zion" an elect, "precious Stone," "a Corner-foundation;" "and the one believing in Him shall never in any way be ashamed." Isa. 28:16 ⁷ Then to you who believe belongs the preciousness. But to disobeying ones, He is the "Stone which those building rejected; this One became the Head-of-the-corner," Psa. 118:22

¹⁶ For not following fables which had been cleverly devised, but having become eyewitnesses of the majesty of Jesus Christ, we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord. ¹⁷ For receiving honor and glory from God the Father such a voice being borne to Him from the magnificent glory, "This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I was well pleased," Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1; Matt. 17:5

² By this know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. ³ And every spirit which does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not from God; and this is the antichrist which you heard is coming, and now is already in the world.

⁹ By this the love of God was revealed in us, because His Son, the Only begotten, God has sent into the world that we might live through Him.

¹⁴ And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

⁷ Because many deceivers went out into the world, those not confessing Jesus Christ to have come in the flesh, this is the deceiver and the antichrist.

³ And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God with men! And He will tabernacle with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.

²² Jehovah possessed me in the beginning of His way, from then, before His works.

² And you, Bethlehem Ephratah, being least among the thousands of Judah, out of you He shall come forth to Me to become Ruler in Israel; and His goings forth have been from of old, from the days of eternity.

¹¹ I indeed baptize you in water to repentance; but He who is coming after me is stronger than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire,

¹³ Then Jesus arrived from Galilee to the Jordan, to John, to be baptized by him. ¹⁴ But John restrained Him, saying, I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me? ¹⁵ But answering, Jesus said to him, Allow it now, for it is becoming to us this way to fulfill all righteousness. Then he allowed Him. ¹⁶ And having been baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water. And, behold! The heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God coming down as a dove, and coming upon Him. ¹⁷ And behold! A voice out of the heaven saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have found delight. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1

⁷ And he proclaimed, saying, He who comes after me is mightier than I, of whom I am not fit to stoop down to loosen the thong of His sandals.

¹⁶ John answered all, saying, I indeed baptize you with water; but He stronger than I comes, of whom I am not fit to loosen the thong of His sandals. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire,

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God.

⁷ He came for a witness, that he might witness concerning the Light, that all might believe through Him. ⁸ He was not that Light, but that he might witness concerning the Light.

²⁷ This One it is who has come after me, who has been before me, of whom I am not worthy that I should loose the thong of His sandal.

²⁹ On the morrow, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, taking away the sin of the world! ³⁰ This is He about whom I said, After me comes a Man who has been before me, for He was preceding me. ³¹ And I did not know Him; but that He be revealed to Israel, for this reason I came baptizing in water.

³³ You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth. ³⁴ But I do not receive witness from man, but I say these things that you may be saved. ³⁵ That one was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to exult in his light for an hour. ³⁶ But I have the greater witness than John's, for the works which the Father has given Me, that I should finish them, the works which I do themselves witness concerning Me, that the Father has sent Me.

⁵⁸ Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham came into being, I AM.

⁶ who subsisting in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God, ⁷ but emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, having become in the likeness of men

¹⁷ And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet, as dead. And He put His right hand on me, saying to me, Do not fear. I am the First and the Last, ¹⁸ and the Living One; and I became dead; and, behold, I am living forever and ever. Amen. And I have the keys to Hades, and of death.

⁷ Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain. And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts: Grace! Grace to it!

¹⁴ But John restrained Him, saying, I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me?

¹² For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have overabundance. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.

¹⁵ For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all those opposing you will not be able to withstand or contradict.

³⁴ For the One whom God sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.

¹ I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. ² Every branch in Me not bearing fruit, He takes it away; and each one bearing fruit, He prunes, so that it may bear more fruit. ³ You are already pruned because of the Word which I have spoken to you. ⁴ Remain in Me, and I in you. As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, unless it remain in the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me. ⁵ I am the Vine; you are the branches. He that remains in Me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit. For apart from Me you are not able to do anything.

¹² And seeing this, Peter answered to the people, Men, Israelites, why do you marvel at this one? Or why do you stare at us, as if by our own power or godliness we have made him to walk? ¹³ The "God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob," "the God of our fathers," Ex. 3:15 glorified His child Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied Him in the presence of Pilate, that one having decided to set Him free. ¹⁴ But you denied the Holy and Just One, and asked for a man, a murderer, to be granted to you. ¹⁵ And the Author of Life you killed, whom God raised up from the dead, of which we are witnesses. ¹⁶ And on the faith of His name, this one whom you see and know was made firm by His name, and the faith which came through Him gave to him this complete soundness before you all.

² through whom also we have had access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we glory on the hope of the glory of God.

¹⁷ For if by the offense of the one death reigned through the one, much more those who are receiving the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall rule in life by the One, Jesus Christ.

²⁰ But Law came in beside, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace much more abounded,

⁹ But you are not in flesh, but in Spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone has not the Spirit of Christ, this one is not His.

⁴ I give thanks to my God always concerning you for the grace of God given to you in Christ Jesus, ⁵ that in everything you were enriched in Him, in all discourse and all knowledge, ⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace in which He favored us in the One having been loved, ⁷ in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace ⁸ which He caused to abound toward us in all wisdom and understanding,

²³ which is His body: the fullness of Him filling all things in all;

⁵ even we being dead in sins, He made us alive together with Christ (by grace you are being saved), ⁶ and raised us up together and seated us together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus, ⁷ that He might show in the coming ages the exceeding great riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. ⁸ For by grace you are saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; ⁹ not of works, that not anyone should boast; ¹⁰ for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God before prepared that we should walk in them.

¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.

⁷ But to each one of us was given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. ⁸ Because of this, He says, "Having gone up on high, He led captivity captive," and gave "gifts to men." Psa. 68:18 ⁹ But that He went up, what is it except that He also first came down into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He that came down is the same who also went up above all the heavens, that He might fill all things. ¹¹ And indeed He gave some to be apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers; ¹² with a view to the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ, ¹³ until we all may come to the unity of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, to a full-grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ,

⁹ For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; ¹⁰ and having been filled, you are in Him, who is the Head of all rule and authority,

² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you.

¹¹ searching for what, or what sort of time the Spirit of Christ made clear within them; testifying beforehand of the sufferings belonging to Christ, and the glories after these.

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He will bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

¹⁸ And in your Seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed because you have obeyed My voice.

¹ And God spoke all these words, saying: ² I am Jehovah your God, who has brought you out from the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. ³ You shall not have any other gods beside Me. ⁴ You shall not make a graven image for yourself, or any likeness in the heavens above, or in the earth beneath, or in the waters under the earth; ⁵ you shall not bow to them, and you shall not serve them; for I am Jehovah your God, a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of fathers on sons, on the third and on the fourth generation, to those that hate Me; ⁶ and doing kindness to thousands, to those loving Me, and to those keeping My commandments. ⁷ You shall not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain; for Jehovah will not leave unpunished the one who takes His name in vain. ⁸ Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy; ⁹ six days you shall labor and do all your work; ¹⁰ and the seventh day is a sabbath to Jehovah your God; you shall not do any work, you, and your son, and your daughter, your male slave and your slave-girl, and your livestock, and your stranger who is in your gates. ¹¹ For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all which is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; on account of this Jehovah blessed the sabbath day and sanctified it. ¹² Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long on the land which Jehovah your God is giving to you. ¹³ You shall not murder. ¹⁴ You shall not commit adultery. ¹⁵ You shall not steal. ¹⁶ You shall not testify a witness of falsehood against your neighbor. ¹⁷ You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male slave, or his slave-girl, or his ox, or his ass, or anything which belongs to your neighbor.

⁴⁴ And this is the law which Moses set before the sons of Israel;

¹ And Moses called to all Israel and said to them, Hear, Israel, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your ears today. And you shall learn them, and shall take heed to do them.

⁴ Moses has commanded a law to us, an inheritance for the congregation of Jacob.

⁴⁵ Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; there is one accusing you, Moses, in whom you have hoped.

¹⁹ Has not Moses given you the Law, and not one of you does the Law? Why do you lust to kill Me?

³² And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

²⁹ We know that God has spoken by Moses, but this one, we do not know from where he is.

³⁸ This is the one who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him in Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received living words to give to us,

³⁴ And that He raised Him from the dead, no more being about to return to corruption, so He has said, "I will give You" "the holy things of faithful David." Isa. 55:3 ³⁵ So He also said in another, "You will not give Your Holy One to see corruption." LXX-Psa. 15:10; MT-Psa. 16:10 ³⁶ For having served his own generation by the counsel of God, David truly fell asleep and was added to his fathers and saw corruption. 1 Kg. 2:10 ³⁷ But He whom God raised up, this One did not see corruption. ³⁸ Then let it be known to you, men, brothers, that through this One remission of sin is announced to you. ³⁹ And everyone believing in this One is justified from all things which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses.

²³ And having appointed him a day, more came to him in the lodging, to whom he expounded, earnestly testifying the kingdom of God and persuading them the things concerning Jesus, both from the law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning until evening.

¹⁹ But we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those within the Law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world be under judgment to God. ²⁰ Because by works of law not one of all flesh will be justified before Him, for through law is full knowledge of sin. Psa. 143:2 ²¹ But now a righteousness of God has been revealed apart from Law, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, ²² even the righteousness of God through faith of Jesus Christ toward all and upon all those believing; for there is no difference, ²³ for all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, ²⁴ being justified freely by His grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus, ²⁵ whom God set forth as a propitiation through faith in His blood, for a showing forth of His righteousness through the passing by of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God, ²⁶ for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for His being just and justifying the one that is of the faith of Jesus.

²⁰ But Law came in beside, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace much more abounded, ²¹ that as sin ruled in death, so also grace might rule through righteousness to everlasting life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

¹⁴ For your sin shall not lord it over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.

⁸ And I say, Jesus Christ has become a minister of circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises of the fathers, ⁹ and for the nations to glorify God for mercy, even as it has been written, "Because of this I will confess to You in the nations, and I will give praise to Your name." Psa. 18:49 ¹⁰ And again He says, "Rejoice, nations, with His people." Deut. 32:43 ¹¹ And again, "Praise the Lord, all the nations, and praise Him all the peoples." Psa. 117:1 ¹² And again Isaiah says, "The Root of Jesse shall be, and He rising up to rule the nations; on Him nations will hope." Isa. 11:10

²⁰ For as many promises as are of God, in Him they are yes, and in Him are Amen, for glory to God through us.

⁷ But if the ministry of death having been engraved in letters in stone was with glory, so as the sons of Israel could not gaze into "the face of Moses" because of the glory of his face, which was to cease, Ex. 34:34 ⁸ how much rather the ministry of the Spirit will be in glory! ⁹ For if the ministry of condemnation was glory, much rather the ministry of righteousness abounds in glory. ¹⁰ For even that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, because of the surpassing glory.

¹⁰ For as many as are out of works of law, these are under a curse. For it has been written, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all the things having been written in the book of the Law, to do them." Deut. 27:26 ¹¹ And that no one is justified by law before God is clear because, "The just shall live by faith." Hab. 2:4 ¹² But the Law is not of faith, but, "The man doing these things shall live in them." Lev. 18:5 ¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it has been written, "Cursed is everyone having been hung on a tree;" Deut. 21:23

¹⁷ And I say this, A covenant having been ratified before to Christ by God, the Law coming into being four hundred and thirty years after, does not annul the promise, so as to abolish it .

⁵ And "Moses" truly " was faithful in all his house" as a ministering servant, for a testimony of the things having been spoken; Num. 12:7 ⁶ but Christ as Son over His house, whose house we are, if truly we hold fast the boldness and rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

⁸ For finding fault, He said to them, "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will make an end on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah; a new covenant shall be, ⁹ not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day of My taking hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I did not regard them, says the Lord. ¹⁰ Because this is the covenant which I will covenant with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, giving My laws into their mind, and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." ¹¹ "And they shall no more teach each one his neighbor, and each one his brother, saying, Know the Lord; because all shall know Me, from the least of them to their great ones. ¹² For I will be merciful to their unrighteousnesses, and I will not at all remember their sins and their lawless deeds." ²² And almost all things are cleansed by blood according to the Law; and apart from shedding of blood no remission occurs.

⁴ for it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. ⁵ For this reason, coming into the world, He says, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You prepared a body for Me. ⁶ You did not delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins." ⁷ "Then I said, Lo, I come, in the heading of the Book, it was written concerning Me, to do Your will, O God." LXX-Psa. 39:7 -9; MT-Psa. 40:6 -8 ⁸ Above, saying, "You did not desire nor were pleased with sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and sacrifices concerning sins," (which are offered according to the Law), ⁹ then He said, "Lo, I come to do Your will, O God." He takes away the first in order that He may set up the second; ¹⁰ by which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

³⁹ And having obtained witness through the faith, these all did not obtain the promise, ⁴⁰ God having foreseen something better concerning us, that they should not be perfected apart from us.

⁸ And when He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having harps, and golden bowls full of incenses, which are the prayers of the saints. ⁹ And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy are You to receive the scroll, and to open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood purchased us to God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, ¹⁰ and made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign over the earth.

⁹ After these things I saw, and behold, a great crowd which no one was able to number them, out of every nation, even tribes and peoples and tongues standing in front of the throne, and before the Lamb, having been clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. ¹⁰ And they cry with a great voice, saying, Salvation to our God sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb. ¹¹ And all the angels and of the elders and of the four living creatures stood around the throne. And they fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God, ¹² saying, Amen. Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength to our God forever and ever. Amen. ¹³ And one of the elders answered, saying to me, These, the ones having been clothed in the white robes, who are they, and from where did they come? ¹⁴ And I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are those coming out of the great tribulation; and they washed their robes and whitened them in the blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵ Because of this they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His sanctuary. And He sitting on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. ¹⁶ And they will not hunger still, nor will they thirst still, nor at all shall fall on them the sun, nor any kind of heat. ¹⁷ Because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them on the living fountains of waters; and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.

²⁸ And He said, Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, because you have wrestled with God and with men, and have prevailed. ²⁹ And Jacob asked and said, Please reveal Your name. And He said, Why this that you ask about My name? And He blessed him there. ³⁰ And Jacob called the name of the place Penuel, because I saw God face to face, and my life is delivered.

¹⁵ And he blessed Joseph and said, The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has fed me since I was born until today; ¹⁶ The Angel that redeemed me from every evil, may He bless the youths; and may my name be called on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they like the fishes increase into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

²¹ Be on guard before Him, and listen to His voice. Do not be rebellious against Him, for He will not forgive your transgressions; for My name is in Him.

¹⁸ And he said, I pray, let me see Your glory. ¹⁹ And He said, I will cause all My goodness to pass before your face. And I will call out the name of Jehovah before your face. And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy. ²⁰ And he said, You are not able to see My face; for no man can see Me and live. ²¹ And Jehovah said, Behold, a place by Me! And you shall stand on a rock. ²² And as My glory is passing it will be that I will put you in a cleft of the rock; and I will cover My palm over you during My passing. ²³ And I will remove My palm, and you shall see My back; but My face cannot be seen.

⁵ And Jehovah came down in the cloud. And he placed himself there with Him, and he called on the name of Jehovah. ⁶ And Jehovah passed by before his face and called out: Jehovah! Jehovah God! Merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and great in goodness and truth, ⁷ keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and not leaving entirely unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on sons, and on sons of sons, to the third and to the fourth generation.

⁸ I speak to him mouth to mouth, and by an appearance, and not in riddles; and he carefully looks upon the form of Jehovah. So why have you not been afraid to speak against My servant, against Moses?

¹² And Jehovah spoke to you out of the midst of the fire; you heard the sound of words, but you did not see a form, only a voice.

¹³ And it happened, when Joshua was beside Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked. And, behold! A Man stood in front of him, and His drawn sword was in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, Are You for us, or for our foes?

¹² And the Angel of Jehovah appeared to him, and said to him, Jehovah is with you, mighty warrior. ¹³ And Gideon said to Him, Oh my Lord, if Jehovah is with us, then why has all this happened to us? And where are all His wonders which our fathers recounted to us, saying, Did not Jehovah bring us up out of Egypt? And now Jehovah has left us, and has given us into the hands of Midian. ¹⁴ And Jehovah turned to him and said, Go in this strength of yours, and you shall deliver Israel out of the hand of Midian. Have I not sent you? ¹⁵ And he said to Him, Oh my Lord, with what shall I deliver Israel? Behold, my family is the weakest in Manasseh, and I the least in my father's house. ¹⁶ And Jehovah said to him, Because I am with you, you shall strike Midian as one man. ¹⁷ And he said to Him, Please, if I have found grace in Your eyes, then You shall give me a sign that You are speaking with me. ¹⁸ Please do not move from here until I come to You and bring my food offering and lay it before You. And He said, I will stay until you come back. ¹⁹ And Gideon went in and prepared a kid of the goats, and unleavened bread of an ephah of flour. He put the flesh in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot. And he brought it out to Him, under the oak, and offered it . ²⁰ And the Angel of Jehovah said to him, Take the flesh and the unleavened bread and place them on this rock, and pour out the broth. And he did so. ²¹ And the Angel of Jehovah put forth the end of the staff in His hand and touched the flesh and the unleavened bread . And the fire rose up out of the rock and burned up the flesh and the unleavened bread . And the Angel of Jehovah went out of his sight. ²² And Gideon saw that He was the Angel of Jehovah. And Gideon said, Alas, Lord Jehovah! Because I have seen the Angel of Jehovah face to face! ²³ And Jehovah said to him, Peace to you, fear not. You shall not die. ²⁴ And Gideon built an altar to Jehovah there, and called it Peace of Jehovah. It is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites until today. ²⁵ And it happened on that night, Jehovah said to him, Take your father's bullock, and the second bullock of seven years; and you shall throw down the altar of Baal which belongs to your father, and you shall cut down the pillar beside it. ²⁶ And you shall build an altar to Jehovah your God on the top of this stronghold, in an orderly way, and shall take the second bullock and offer a burnt offering with the wood of the pillar which you have cut down.

²⁰ And it happened as the flame from off the altar was going up to the heavens, that the Angel of Jehovah went up in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife were watching. And they fell on their faces to the ground. ²¹ And the Angel of Jehovah did not appear any more to Manoah, or to his wife. Then Manoah knew that He was the Angel of Jehovah. ²² And Manoah said to his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God. ²³ And his wife said to him, If Jehovah desired to put us to death, He would not have received a burnt offering and a food offering from our hands, nor declared to us all these things; nor would He at this time have caused us to hear such things as these.

³⁰ then I was at His side, like a master workman; and I was His delights day by day, rejoicing before Him at every time;

¹ In the year that king Uzziah died, then I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up. And His train filled the temple. ² Above it stood the seraphs. Each one had six wings; with two he covered his face; and with two he covered his feet; and with two he flew. ³ And one cried to the other and said, Holy, holy, holy is Jehovah of Hosts; all the earth is full of His glory!

¹¹ He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; He shall gather lambs with His arm; and carry them in His bosom; those with young He will lead;

¹² They say to their mothers, Where are grain and wine? In their fainting, they are like the wounded in the plazas of the city, in their pouring out their lives to their mothers' bosom.

²⁶ And from above the expanse that was over their heads was an appearance like a sapphire stone, the likeness of a throne. And on the likeness of the throne was a likeness in appearance like a man on it from above. ²⁷ And I saw Him, like the color of polished bronze, looking like fire within it all around. From the appearance of His loins and upward, and from the appearance of His loins and downward, I saw Him looking like fire; and brightness to it all around. ²⁸ As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of the rain, so appeared the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah. And I saw, and I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

³ He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he contended with God. ⁴ Yes, he wept and pleaded to Him, and he contended with the Angel and overcame. He found us at Bethel, and He spoke with us there, ⁵ even Jehovah, the God of hosts. Jehovah is his memorial.

²² All things were delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father; and who is the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son may desire to reveal Him .

²² And it happened, the poor one died and was carried away by the angels into the bosom of Abraham. And the rich one also died and was buried. ²³ And being in torments in Hell, lifting up his eyes, he sees Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosoms.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ¹⁷ For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. ¹⁸ The one believing into Him is not condemned; but the one not believing has already been condemned, for he has not believed into the name of the only begotten Son of God.

⁴⁶ not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One being from God, He has seen the Father.

⁴¹ Isaiah said these things when he saw His glory, and spoke about Him.

²³ But there was one of His disciples reclining at the bosom of Jesus, whom Jesus loved.

⁶ I revealed Your name to the men whom You gave to Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me; and they have kept Your Word.

²⁶ And I made known to them Your name, and will make it known, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.

¹⁵ who is the image of the invisible God, the First-born of all creation.

¹⁷ Now to the King eternal, incorruptible, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

¹⁶ the only One having immortality, living in light that cannot be approached, whom no one of men saw, nor can see; to whom be honor and everlasting might. Amen.

¹² No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love having been perfected is in us.

²⁰ If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar. For the one not loving his brother whom he has seen, how is he able to love God whom he has not seen?

⁹ And you shall come in to the priest, of the Levites, and to the judge who is in those days, and shall inquire. And they shall declare the sentence of judgment to you. ¹⁰ And you shall do according to the word which they declare to you from that place which Jehovah shall choose. And you shall be careful to do according to all that they direct you. ¹¹ You shall do according to the mouth of the law which they direct you, and according to the judgment which they deliver to you. You shall not turn aside from the word which they declare to you, right or left.

⁸ Be on guard in the plague of leprosy, that you watch closely and do according to all that the Levitical priests shall teach you. As I commanded them, so you shall be careful to do.

²³ And He, coming into the temple, the chief priests and elders of the people came near to Him as He was teaching, saying, By what authority do you do these things? And who gave this authority to you? ²⁴ And answering, Jesus said to them, I also will ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I also will tell you by what authority I do these things. ²⁵ The baptism of John, from where was it? From Heaven, or from men? And they reasoned among themselves, saying, If we shall say, From Heaven, He will say to us, Why then did you not believe him? ²⁶ But if we should say, From men, we fear the people. For all hold John to be a prophet. ²⁷ And answering Jesus, they said, We do not know. And He said to them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things. ²⁸ But what do you think? A man had two children, and coming to the first he said, Child, go today; work in my vineyard. ²⁹ And answering, he said, I will not. But afterward, feeling sorry, he went. ³⁰ And coming to the second, he said the same. And answering, he said, I go, sir; but he did not leave. ³¹ Which of the two did the will of the father? They said to Him, The first. Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, the tax collectors and the harlots go before you into the kingdom of God. ³² For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him. But the tax-collectors and the harlots believed him. And seeing, you did not repent afterwards to believe him.

¹⁵ But the people were expecting, and all reasoning in their hearts about John, lest perhaps he is the Christ, ¹⁶ John answered all, saying, I indeed baptize you with water; but He stronger than I comes, of whom I am not fit to loosen the thong of His sandals. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire, ¹⁷ whose sifting fan is in His hand; and He will fully purge His threshing-floor, and will gather the wheat into His barn, but He will burn: the chaff with fire that cannot be put out. ¹⁸ And then indeed exhorting many different things, he preached the gospel to the people.

¹⁸ Then the Jews answered and said to Him, What sign do you show to us, since you do these things?

¹⁰ Then the Jews said to the one having been healed, It is a sabbath. It is not lawful for you to lift up the cot.

⁴¹ Then the Jews murmured about Him, because He said, I am the Bread coming down out of Heaven.

⁵² Then the Jews argued with one another, saying, How can this one give us his flesh to eat?

²⁴ Then the Jews encircled Him, and said to Him, How long do you lift up our soul? If you are the Christ, tell us publicly.

²⁵ And as John fulfilled the course, he said, Whom do you suppose me to be? I am not He, but, behold, "He comes after me, of whom I am not worthy to loosen the sandal of His feet." John 1:27

¹¹ I indeed baptize you in water to repentance; but He who is coming after me is stronger than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire, ¹² whose fan is in His hand, and He will cleanse His floor and will gather His wheat into the barn. ¹⁵ Jehovah your God shall raise up to you a Prophet from among you, of your brothers, One like me; you shall listen to Him, ¹⁶ according to all that you desired of Jehovah your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of Jehovah my God, nor let me see this great fire any more, lest I die. ¹⁷ And Jehovah said to me, They have spoken well, what they have said. ¹⁸ I shall raise up a Prophet to them from among their brothers, one like you; and I will put My words in His mouth; and He shall speak to them all that I shall command Him.

⁵ Behold, I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Jehovah.

⁹ But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and one more excellent than a prophet. ¹⁰ For this is the one about whom it has been written: "Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who shall prepare Your way before You." Mal. 3:1 ¹¹ Truly I say to you, Not has arisen among those born of a woman any greater than John the Baptist. But the least in the kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is.

¹⁴ And if you are willing to receive, he is Elijah, the one about to come.

¹⁴ And they said, Some say John the Baptist, and others Elijah, and others Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.

¹⁰ And His disciples asked Him, saying, Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first? ¹¹ And answering, Jesus said to them, Elijah indeed comes first and shall restore all things. ¹² But I say to you, Elijah has already come, and they did not know him, but did to him whatever they desired. So also the Son of man is about to suffer by them.

¹⁷ And he will go out before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah "to turn the hearts of fathers to their children," and disobedient ones to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people having been prepared for the Lord. Mal. 4:5, 6

²⁵ And they asked him and said to him, Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?

⁴⁰ Then hearing the word, many of the crowd said, This is truly the Prophet.

¹³ And Gad came in to David and told him, and said to him, Shall seven years of famine come to you in your land? Or shall you flee before your foes three months, and they pursue you? Or shall three days' plague come into your land? Now consider, and see what I shall take back to Him who sent word to me.

³ For this is he spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord! Make His paths straight!" Isa. 40:3

⁴ as it has been written in the roll of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying: " the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight. ⁵ every valley shall be filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked places shall be made into straight, and the rough into smooth ways;" ⁶ "and all flesh shall see the salvation of God." Isa. 40:35

¹³ But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of Heaven before men; for you do not enter, nor do you allow those entering to go in. ¹⁴ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour the houses of widows, and pray at length as a pretext. Because of this you will receive more abundant judgment. ¹⁵ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you go about the sea and the dry land to make one proselyte; and when he has become so, you make him twofold more a son of Hell than yourselves.

²⁶ Blind Pharisee! First cleanse the inside of the cup and of the dish, that the outside of them may become clean also.

³⁰ But the Pharisees and the lawyers set aside God's counsel as to themselves, not being baptized by him.

³⁹ But the Lord said to him, Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but your inside is full of robbery and evil. ⁴⁰ Fools! Did not He who made the outside also make the inside? ⁴¹ But give alms of the things which are within, and behold, all things are clean to you. ⁴² But woe to you, Pharisees, for you pay tithes of the mint, and the rue, and every plant, and pass by the judgment and the love of God. It was right to do these things, but not to leave aside those. ⁴³ Woe to you, Pharisees! For you love the chief seat in the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces. ⁴⁴ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you are as the unseen tombs, and the men walking above do not know.

⁵³ And as He was saying these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to be terribly angry, and to draw Him out concerning many things,

¹⁴ And being lovers of money, the Pharisees also heard all these things; and they derided Him.

¹ But there was a man from the Pharisees, Nicodemus his name, a ruler of the Jews. ² This one came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that You have come as a teacher from God. For no one is able to do these miracles which You do, except God be with Him.

⁴⁷ Then the Pharisees answered them, Have you not also been deceived? ⁴⁸ Not any from the rulers or from the Pharisees believed into him? ⁴⁹ But not knowing the Law, this crowd is cursed.

⁸ For the Sadducees indeed say there is no resurrection, nor angel, nor spirit. But Pharisees confess both.

⁵ who before knew me from the first, if they will testify, that according to the most exact sect of our religion, I lived a Pharisee.

⁵ in circumcision, the eighth day, of the race of Israel, the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; according to Law, a Pharisee; ⁶ according to zeal, persecuting the church; according to righteousness in Law, being blameless.

¹⁵ Jehovah your God shall raise up to you a Prophet from among you, of your brothers, One like me; you shall listen to Him,

¹⁸ I shall raise up a Prophet to them from among their brothers, one like you; and I will put My words in His mouth; and He shall speak to them all that I shall command Him.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are decreed as to your people, and as to your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make atonement for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. ²⁵ Know, then, and understand that from the going out of a word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem, to Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks and sixty two weeks. The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in times of affliction. ²⁶ And after sixty two weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end shall be with the flood, and ruins are determined, and war shall be until the end.

²³ And He, coming into the temple, the chief priests and elders of the people came near to Him as He was teaching, saying, By what authority do you do these things? And who gave this authority to you?

²⁰ And he acknowledged and did not deny; yea, he acknowledged, I am not the Christ. ²¹ And they asked him, What, then? Are you Elijah? And he said, I am not. Are you the Prophet? And he answered, No. ²² Then they said to him, Who are you, that we may give an answer to those sending us? What do you say about yourself?

⁵ And it happened on the morrow that the rulers and elders and scribes gathered into Jerusalem; ⁶ also Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the high priestly family. ⁷ And standing them in the midst, they were inquiring, By what sort of power, or by what sort of name did you do this?

²⁸ saying, Did we not command you by a command that you not teach in this name? And, behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine and intend to bring on us the blood of this man.

¹ Behold, I am sending My messenger, and He will clear the way before Me. And the Lord whom you are seeking shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Angel of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He comes, says Jehovah of hosts. ² But who can endure the day of His coming? And who will stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire and like fuller's soap.

⁸ I indeed baptized you in water, but He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.

¹⁰ He was in the world, and the world came into being through Him, yet the world did not know Him. ¹¹ He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

¹⁹ Then they said to Him, Where is your father? Jesus answered, You neither know Me, nor My Father. If you had known Me, then you also would have known My Father.

³ And they will do these things to you because they do not know the Father nor Me.

³ And this is everlasting life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.

⁵ for John indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days after."

¹⁶ And I recalled the Word of the Lord, how He said, John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

³⁰ This is He about whom I said, After me comes a Man who has been before me, for He was preceding me.

²⁴ And Gideon had sent messengers to all the hills of Ephraim, saying, Come down to meet Midian, and capture the waters before them as far as Beth-barah and the Jordan. And every man of Ephraim was called up, and they captured the waters as far as Beth-barah and the Jordan.

²³ And John was also baptizing in Aenon, near Salim, for many waters were there. And they came and were being baptized.

²⁶ And they came to John and said to him, Teacher, the one who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have witnessed, behold, this one baptizes, and all are coming to Him.

⁴⁰ And He went away again across the Jordan to the place where John was at first baptizing and remained there.

⁵ Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?

⁷ And Isaac spoke to his father Abraham and said, My father. And he said, Behold me. And he said, Behold, the fire and the wood! But where is the lamb for a burnt offering? ⁸ And Abraham said, My son, God will see to the lamb for Himself, for a burnt offering. And the two of them went together.

³ Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, On the tenth of this month, they shall each take for themselves an animal of the flock for a father's house, a flock animal for a house. ⁴ And if the house is too small for a flock animal, he and his neighbor next to his house shall take according to the number of souls, each one according to the mouth of his eating, you shall count concerning the flock animal. ⁵ A flock animal, a perfect one, a male, a yearling, shall be to you. You shall take from the sheep or from the goats. ⁶ And it shall be for you to keep until the fourteenth day of this month. And all the assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it between the evenings. ⁷ And they shall take from the blood, and put it on the two side doorposts and on the upper doorpost, on the houses in which they eat it. ⁸ And they shall eat the flesh in this night, roasted with fire, and they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. ⁹ Do not eat it raw, or at all boiled in water, but roasted with fire; its head with its legs and with its inward parts. ¹⁰ And you shall not leave any of it until morning. And you shall burn with fire that left from it until morning. ¹¹ And you shall eat it this way: with your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in haste. It is the Passover to Jehovah. ¹² And I will pass through in the land of Egypt in this night. And I will strike every first born in the land of Egypt, from man even to livestock. And I will execute judgments on all the gods of Egypt. I am Jehovah! ¹³ And the blood shall be a sign to you, on the houses where you are . And I will see the blood, and I will pass over you. And the plague shall not be on you to destroy, when I strike in the land of Egypt.

³⁸ And it shall be on Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things which will sanctify the sons of Israel to all their holy gifts. And it shall be on his forehead continually, for acceptance for them before the face of Jehovah.

¹⁷ Why have you not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, for it is most holy, and He has given it to you to take away the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before Jehovah?

²¹ then Aaron shall lay his two hands on the head of the living goat, and shall confess over it all the iniquities of the sons of Israel, and all their transgressions, and all their sins, and shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send it by the hand of a chosen man into the wilderness. ²² And the goat shall bear on him all their iniquities to a land cut off. And he shall send the goat away into the wilderness.

¹ And Jehovah said to Aaron, You, and your sons, and your father's house with you shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary. And you, and your sons with you, shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood;

²³ But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity; it shall be a never ending statute throughout your generations, that in the midst of the sons of Israel they shall have no inheritance;

³ And you shall say to them, This is the fire offering which you shall offer to Jehovah, two yearling lambs without blemish, day by day, as a continual burnt offering. ⁴ You shall offer the one lamb in the morning, and you shall offer the other lamb between the two evenings; ⁵ and a tenth of an ephah of flour for a food offering mixed with beaten oil, a fourth of a hin; ⁶ a continual burnt offering which was offered in Mount Sinai for a soothing fragrance, a fire offering to Jehovah; ⁷ and its drink offering, a fourth of a hin for the one lamb; pour a drink offering of strong drink to Jehovah in the sanctuary. ⁸ And you shall offer the other lamb between the evenings, even as the food offering of the morning, and as its drink offering, you shall offer as a sacrifice made by fire, a soothing fragrance to Jehovah. ⁹ And on the sabbath day, two lambs, sons of a year, perfect ones, and two tenth parts of flour, a food offering mixed with oil, and its drink offering; ¹⁰ the burnt offering of the sabbath on its sabbath, besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering.

⁷ He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, but He did not open His mouth. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter; and as a ewe before her shearers is dumb, so He opened not His mouth.

¹¹ He shall see the fruit of the travail of His soul; He shall be fully satisfied. By His knowledge shall My righteous Servant justify for many, and He shall bear their iniquities.

² Take words with you and return to Jehovah. Say to Him, Take away all iniquity and receive us well, that we may repay with the calves of our lips.

²¹ And she will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins.

²⁸ Even as the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

³² And the content of the Scripture which he was reading was this: "He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and as a lamb voiceless before the one shearing it, so He does not open His mouth.

³⁹ And everyone believing in this One is justified from all things which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses.

³ For I delivered to you in the first place what I also received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures,

²¹ For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

⁴ who gave Himself for our sins, so that He might deliver us out of the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it has been written, "Cursed is everyone having been hung on a tree;" Deut. 21:23

⁶ the One having given Himself a ransom on behalf of all, the testimony to be given in its own times,

¹⁴ who gave Himself on our behalf, "that He might redeem us from all iniquity" "and purify" "a people" "for His own possession," zealous of good works. Psa. 130:8; Eze. 37:23; Deut. 14:2

¹⁷ For this reason He ought by all means to become like His brothers, that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the things respecting God, in order to make propitiation for the sins of His people.

²⁸ so being once offered "to bear the sins of many," Christ shall appear a second time without sin to those expecting Him for salvation. Isa. 53:12

¹⁹ but with precious blood of Christ, as of an unblemished and unspotted lamb,

²⁴ who "Himself bore in His body our sins" onto the tree; that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; of whom, "by His wound, you were healed.

¹⁸ Because even Christ once suffered concerning sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God; indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;

² And He is the propitiation relating to our sins, and not relating to ours only, but also relating to all the world.

⁵ And you know that He was revealed that He might take away our sins, and sin is not in Him.

¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be a propitiation relating to our sins.

⁵ even from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the First-born out of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him loving us and washing us from our sins by His blood,

⁶ And I saw, and behold, in the midst of the throne, and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, was a Lamb standing, as having been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, having been sent out into all the earth.

⁸ And when He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having harps, and golden bowls full of incenses, which are the prayers of the saints.

¹² saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb having been slain to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. ¹³ And every creature which is in Heaven, and in the earth, and underneath the earth, and the things that are on the sea, and the things in all of them, I heard saying: To Him sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing and the honor and the glory and the might forever and ever.

¹ And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals. And I heard one of the four living creatures, like a sound of thunder, saying, Come and see.

¹⁶ And "they said to the mountains" and to the rocks, "Fall on us," and hide us from the face of the One sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb, Hos. 10:8

⁹ After these things I saw, and behold, a great crowd which no one was able to number them, out of every nation, even tribes and peoples and tongues standing in front of the throne, and before the Lamb, having been clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. ¹⁰ And they cry with a great voice, saying, Salvation to our God sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb.

¹⁴ And I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are those coming out of the great tribulation; and they washed their robes and whitened them in the blood of the Lamb.

¹⁷ Because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them on the living fountains of waters; and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.

¹¹ And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul even until death.

⁸ And all those dwelling in the earth will worship it, those of whom the names had not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb having been slain from the foundation of the world.

¹ And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion! And with Him were a hundred and forty four thousands, with the name of His Father having been written on their foreheads.

⁴ These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones following the Lamb wherever He may go. These were redeemed from among men as a firstfruit to God and to the Lamb.

¹⁰ he also shall drink of the wine of the anger of God having been mixed undiluted in the cup of His wrath. And he will be tormented by fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb.

³ And they sing the song of Moses the slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty, righteous and true are Your ways, King of the saints.

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and the ones with Him are the called and elect and faithful ones.

⁷ Let us rejoice and let us exult, and we will give glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb came, and His wife prepared herself.

⁹ And he says to me, Write: Blessed are the ones having been called to the supper of the marriage of the Lamb. And he says to me, These words of God are true.

⁹ And one of the seven angels came to me, he having the seven bowls being filled with the seven last plagues, and spoke with me, saying, Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.

¹⁴ And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

²² And I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, even the Lamb. ²³ And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they might shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, even its lamp is the Lamb.

²⁷ And all profaning may not at all enter into it, or any making an abomination or a lie; but only the ones having been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb.

² But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall rise up, and healing will be on His wings. And you shall go out and frisk like calves of the stall. ³ And you shall tread under the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day which I am preparing, says Jehovah of hosts. ⁴ Remember the law of My servant Moses which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, the statutes and judgments. ⁵ Behold, I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Jehovah.

⁶ and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.

³ the voice of one crying in the wilderness. Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight." Mal. 3:1; Isa. 40:3 ⁴ John came baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for remission of sins. ⁵ And all the Judean country and those of Jerusalem went out to him, and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.

⁷⁶ And you, child, will be called Prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways, Mal. 3:1 ⁷⁷ to give a knowledge of salvation to His people by remission of their sins, ⁷⁸ through the tender bowels of mercy of our God, in which the Dayspring from on high will visit us, ⁷⁹ to appear to those sitting in darkness and in shadow of death, to direct our feet into the way of peace. Isa. 9:2 ⁸⁰ And the child grew, and became strong in spirit. And he was in the deserts until the day of his showing to Israel.

³⁹ And as they finished all things according to the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to Nazareth their city. ⁴⁰ And the Child grew, and became strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom. And the grace of God was upon Him. ⁴¹ And His parents went into Jerusalem year by year at the Feast of the Passover. ⁴² And when He was twelve years old, they, going up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the Feast,

³ And he came into the neighborhood of the Jordan proclaiming a baptism of repentance for remission of sins, ⁴ as it has been written in the roll of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying: " the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.

¹⁶ And having been baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water. And, behold! The heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God coming down as a dove, and coming upon Him.

¹⁰ And going up from the water, immediately He saw the heavens being torn, and the Spirit coming down as a dove upon Him.

²² and the Holy Spirit came down in a bodily form as a dove upon Him. And there was a voice out of Heaven, saying, You are My Son, the Beloved; I am delighted in You. Psa. 2:7; Gen 22:2; Isa. 42:1

³² it is Another that witnesses concerning Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses concerning Me is true.

¹³ Then Jesus arrived from Galilee to the Jordan, to John, to be baptized by him. ¹⁴ But John restrained Him, saying, I have need to be baptized by You, and do You come to me? ¹⁵ But answering, Jesus said to him, Allow it now, for it is becoming to us this way to fulfill all righteousness. Then he allowed Him.

³¹ And I did not know Him; but that He be revealed to Israel, for this reason I came baptizing in water.

⁵ Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, if one does not receive birth out of water and Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God.

⁴ And they were all filled of the Holy Spirit, and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave ability to them to speak.

⁴⁴ As Peter was yet speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those hearing the Word. ⁴⁵ And the faithful of the circumcision were amazed, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out on the nations also. ⁴⁶ For they heard them speaking in languages and magnifying God. Then Peter answered, ⁴⁷ Can anyone forbid the water that these not be baptized, who the Holy Spirit received, even as we also?

¹⁵ And in my beginning to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, as also on us in the beginning. ¹⁶ And I recalled the Word of the Lord, how He said, John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

² he said to them, Believing, did you receive the Holy Spirit? And they said to him, We did not even hear whether the Holy Spirit is. ³ And he said to them, Then to what were you baptized? And they said, To the baptism of John. ⁴ And Paul said, John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe into the One coming after him, that is, into the Christ, Jesus. ⁵ And hearing, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. ⁶ And Paul laying hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in languages and prophesied.

¹³ For also we all were baptized by one Spirit into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, even all were given to drink into one Spirit.

⁵ not by works in righteousness which we had done, but according to His mercy, He saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ, our Savior;

²⁶ He shall cry to Me, My Father, You are My God, and the rock of my salvation. ²⁷ And I will make him My first-born, higher than the kings of the earth.

¹⁷ And behold! A voice out of the heaven saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have found delight. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1

³ And coming near to Him, the Tempter said, If You are the Son of God, speak that these stones may become loaves.

⁶ And he said to Him, If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it has been written: "He shall give His angels charge concerning You, and they shall bear You on their hands, lest You strike Your foot against a stone." LXX-Psa. 90:11, 12; MT-Psa. 91:11, 12

²⁹ And, behold! They cried out, saying, What is to us and to You, Jesus, Son of God? Have You come here beforetime to torment us?

¹⁶ And answering, Simon Peter said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

⁵ While he was yet speaking, behold, a radiant cloud overshadowed them. And, behold, a voice out of the cloud saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I delight; hear Him. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1; Deut. 18:15

⁶³ But Jesus kept silent. And answering, the high priest said to Him, I adjure you by the living God that you tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.

⁴⁰ and saying, You destroying the Holy Place and building it in three days, if you are the Son of God, come down from the cross.

⁴³ He trusted on God. Let Him rescue him now, if He desires him. For he said, I am Son of God.

⁵⁴ But the centurion and those with him guarding Jesus, seeing the earthquake and the things taking place, they feared exceedingly, saying, Truly this One was Son of God.

¹ The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God,

¹¹ And there was a voice out of the heavens, You are My Son, the Beloved, in whom I take delight. Psa. 2:7; Gen. 22:2; Isa. 42:1

³⁵ And answering, the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you, and for this reason that Holy One being born of you will be called Son of God.

⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel.

²³ so that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him. ²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who hears My word, and believes the One who has sent Me, has everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. ²⁵ Truly, truly, I say to you that an hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and the ones hearing will live. ²⁶ For even as the Father has life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to have life in Himself. ²⁷ And He also gave authority to Him to execute judgment, for He is the Son of man.

⁶⁹ And we have believed and have known that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

³⁰ I and the Father are one!

³⁶ do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, You blaspheme, because I said, I am Son of God?

²⁷ She said to Him, Yes, Lord, I have believed that You are the Christ, the Son of God who comes into the world.

⁷ Then the Jews answered him, We have a law, and according to our Law he ought to die because he made himself Son of God!

⁴ who was marked out Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by resurrection of the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord;

¹⁹ For Jesus Christ the Son of God, the One proclaimed among you by us, through me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yes and no, but has been yes in Him.

¹ In many parts and in many ways of old, God spoke to the fathers in the prophets; ² in these last days He spoke to us in the Son, whom He appointed heir of all; through whom He indeed made the ages;

⁵ For to which of the angels did He ever say, "You are My Son; today I have begotten You"? And again, "I will be a Father to Him, and He shall be a Son to Me." Psa. 2:7; 2 Sam. 7:16 ⁶ And again, when He brought the First-born into the world, He said, "And let all the angels of God worship Him." LXX-Deut. 32:43, MT-No Equiv

²³ Everyone denying the Son does not have the Father. The one confessing the Son also has the Father.

⁸ The one practicing sin is of the Devil, because the Devil sins from the beginning. For this the Son of God was revealed, that He undo the works of the Devil.

¹⁴ And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. ¹⁵ Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

⁹ If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; because this is the witness of God which He has witnessed about His Son: ¹⁰ The one believing in the Son of God has the witness in himself. The one not believing God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the witness which God has witnessed concerning His Son. ¹¹ And this is the witness: that God gave us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son.

⁹ Everyone transgressing and not abiding in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. The one abiding in the doctrine of Christ, this one has the Father and the Son.

¹⁸ And to the angel of the church in Thyatira, write: These things says the Son of God, the One having His eyes as a flame of fire, and His feet like burnished brass:

¹⁶ Then those fearing Jehovah spoke together, each man to his neighbor. And Jehovah gave attention and heard. And a Book of Remembrance was written before Him for those who feared Jehovah, and for those esteeming His name.

²⁵ Then a question from John's disciples arose with the Jews about purifying. ²⁶ And they came to John and said to him, Teacher, the one who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have witnessed, behold, this one baptizes, and all are coming to Him.

²² Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

¹ I have been sought, not by those who asked. I have been found, not by those who sought Me. To a nation not calling on My name, I said, Behold Me! Behold Me! ² I have spread out My hands all the day long to a rebellious people who walk in the way not good, after their own thoughts;

²⁹ On the morrow, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, taking away the sin of the world!

² looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, "and sat down at the right" of the throne of God. Psa. 110:1

¹⁹ but with precious blood of Christ, as of an unblemished and unspotted lamb, ²⁰ indeed having been foreknown before the foundation of the world, but revealed in the last times because of you,

²³ A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and how good is a word in its season!

²¹ And the inhabitants of one shall go to another, saying, Let us go at once to seek the favor of the face of Jehovah, and to seek Jehovah of hosts; I will go also.

⁴³ And on the morrow, Jesus desired to go out into Galilee. And He found Philip, and says to him, Follow me!

³⁹ And many of the Samaritans out of that city believed into Him, because of the word of the woman testifying, He told me all things, whatever I did. ⁴⁰ Then as the Samaritans came to Him, they asked Him to remain with them. And He remained there two days. ⁴¹ And many more believed through His word. ⁴² And they said to the woman, We no longer believe because of your saying; for we ourselves have heard, and we know that this One is truly the Savior of the world, the Christ.

¹⁷ Then faith is of hearing, and hearing through the Word of God.

²⁹ Let not any filthy word go out of your mouth, but if any is good to building up in respect to the need, that it may give grace to the ones hearing.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come! And the one hearing, let him say, Come! And the one thirsting, let him come; and the one desiring, let him take of the water of life freely.

¹⁶ And Ruth said, Do not beg me to leave you, to turn back from following you. For where you go, I will go. And where you stay, I will stay. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.

⁸ Oh the happiness of your men! Oh the happiness of your servants, these who stand before you continually, who hear your wisdom!

⁴ One thing I have asked from Jehovah, it I will seek: my dwelling in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, to behold the delight of Jehovah, and to inquire in His temple.

¹⁸ She is a tree of life to the ones who lay hold on her; and happy are the ones holding her fast.

³⁴ Blessed is the man listening to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

²⁰ He who walks with the wise shall be wise, but one associating with fools shall be broken.

⁷ Tell me, You whom my soul loves, where do You feed; where do You lie down at noon? For why should I be as one who is veiled beside the flocks of Your companions? ⁸ If you yourself do not know, most beautiful among women, go in the footsteps of the flock. And feed your kids beside the tents of the shepherds.

⁷ and the greetings in the markets, and to be called by men, Rabbi, Rabbi. ⁸ But do not you be called Rabbi, for One is your Leader, the Christ, and you are all brothers.

²⁴ And John's messengers going away, He began to speak to the crowds about John: What did you go out to the wilderness to see? A reed being shaken by the wind? ²⁵ But what did you go out to see? A man who had been dressed in soft clothing? Behold, those in splendid clothing and being in luxury are in king's palaces. ²⁶ But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, even more than a prophet. ²⁷ This is he about whom it has been written: "Behold, I send My messenger" before Your face, who "will prepare Your way before You." Mal. 3:1

³⁸ And the man from whom the demons had gone out begged Him, desiring to be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying,

³⁹ And she had a sister being called Mary, who also was sitting alongside, at the feet of Jesus, and heard His word.

²⁵ And great crowds came together to Him. And turning, He said to them,

²⁰ And rising up, he came to his father. But he yet being far away, his father saw him and was moved with pity. And running, he fell on his neck and fervently kissed him.

⁴⁰ And standing still, Jesus commanded him to be brought to Him. And he drawing near, He asked him, ⁴¹ saying, What do you desire I do to you? And he said, Lord, that I may see again.

⁵ And as He came to the place, looking up, Jesus saw him, and said to him, Zaccheus, hurry, come down, for today I must stay in your house.

⁶¹ And turning, the Lord looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He told him, Before a cock would crow, you will deny Me three times.

² This one came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that You have come as a teacher from God. For no one is able to do these miracles which You do, except God be with Him.

²⁵ And finding Him across the sea, they said to Him, Rabbi, when did you come here?

²¹ Then these came to Philip, the one from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we desire to see Jesus.

⁴ Then knowing all the things coming upon Him, going forth, Jesus said to them, Whom do you seek?

⁷ Then again He asked, Whom do you seek? And they said, Jesus the Nazarene.

¹⁵ Jesus said to her, Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek? Thinking that it was the gardener, she said to Him, Sir, if you carried Him away, tell me where you put Him, and I will take Him away. ¹⁶ Jesus said to her, Mary! Turning around, she said to Him, Rabboni! (that is to say, Teacher).

²¹ And going down to the men, the ones sent from Cornelius to him, Peter said, Behold, I am the one you seek. What is the cause for which you are here?

²⁹ Therefore, I also came without complaint, being summoned. Then I ask for what reason did you send for me?

¹⁷ I love those who love me, and those who seek me early find me.

²⁸ Come to Me, all those laboring and being burdened, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, because I am meek and lowly in heart, "and you will find rest to your souls." Jer. 6:16 ³⁰ For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

²⁹ And they constrained Him, saying, Stay with us, for it is toward evening, and the day has declined. And He went in to stay with them.

⁴⁶ And Nathanael said to him, Can any good thing be out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see.

⁴⁰ Then as the Samaritans came to Him, they asked Him to remain with them. And He remained there two days.

³⁷ All that the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and the one coming to Me I will in no way cast out.

²² Judas said to Him, not the Iscariot, Lord, what has happened that You are about to reveal Yourself to us and not at all to the world? ²³ Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word, and My Father shall love him. And We will come to him and will make a dwelling place with him.

³⁰ And Paul remained two whole years in his own rented place, and he welcomed all those coming in to him, ³¹ proclaiming the kingdom of God, and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all freedom and without hindrance.

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door and knock: If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will enter to him, and I will dine with him, and he with Me.

¹⁸ And walking beside the sea of Galilee, Jesus saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers. ¹⁹ And He says to them, Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men. ²⁰ And leaving the nets, they immediately followed Him. ²¹ And going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets. And He called them. ²² And at once leaving the boat and their father, they followed Him.

² And the names of the twelve apostles are these: First, Simon who is called Peter and his brother Andrew, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John,

¹⁶ And walking along beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a small net in the sea; for they were fishers. ¹⁷ And Jesus said to them, Come after Me, and I will make you to become fishers of men. ¹⁸ And leaving their nets, they immediately followed Him. ¹⁹ And going forward from there a little, He saw James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. And they were in the boat mending the nets. ²⁰ And at once He called them. And leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, they went after Him.

² And He saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen had left them and were washing the nets. ³ And entering into one of the boats, which was Simon's, He asked him to put out a little from the land. And sitting down, He taught the crowd from the boat. ⁴ And as He quit speaking, He said to Simon, Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a haul. ⁵ And answering, Simon said to Him, Master, laboring all through the night we took nothing. But at Your word I will let down the net. ⁶ And doing this, they netted a great multitude of fish; and their net was being torn. ⁷ And they signaled the partners, those in the other boat, to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they were sinking. ⁸ And seeing, Simon Peter fell at the knees of Jesus, saying, Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord. ⁹ For astonishment took hold of him, and all those with him, at the haul of fish which they took; ¹⁰ and in the same way also, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Do not fear. From now on you will be taking men alive. ¹¹ And bringing the boats down onto the land, forsaking all things, they followed Him.

⁴⁰ Andrew the brother of Simon Peter was one of the two who heard from John and was following Him. ⁴¹ This one first found his own brother Simon and tells him, We have found the Messiah (which being translated is, the Christ). ⁴² And he led him to Jesus. And looking at him, Jesus said, You are Simon the son of Jonah; you shall be called Cephas (which translated is Peter).

⁸ One of His disciples said to Him, Andrew the brother of Simon Peter,

¹³ And when they went in, they went up to the upper room where they were waiting: both Peter and James, and John and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alpheus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas the brother of James.

⁹ And they said to one another, We are not doing right this day. It is a day of good news, and we are keeping silent. And if we wait until the morning light, then punishment will find us. And now come and we will go and tell the house of the king.

² The kings of the earth set themselves; yea, the rulers have plotted together against Jehovah and His anointed, saying,

⁷ You love righteousness and hate wickedness; on account of this God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness more than Your fellows.

²⁰ I have found My servant David; I have anointed him with My holy oil.

³ And many people shall go and say, Come and let us go up to the mount of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob. And He will teach from His ways, and we will walk in His paths. For out of Zion the law will go forth, and the word of Jehovah from Jerusalem. ⁴ And He shall judge among the nations and shall rebuke many people. And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more. ⁵ Oh house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of Jehovah.

² And the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest on Him; He will have the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and power, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah.

¹ The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is on Me, because Jehovah has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the meek. He has sent Me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and complete opening to the bound ones;

¹⁷ And seeing, they publicly told about the word spoken to them about this Child.

³⁸ And coming on at the very hour, she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke concerning Him to all those in Jerusalem eagerly expecting redemption.

¹⁸ " The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me. Because of this He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me" to heal the brokenhearted, "to preach remission to captives and new sight to the blind," to send away the ones having been crushed in deliverance, ¹⁹ "to preach an acceptable year of the Lord." Isa. 61:1, 2 ²⁰ And rolling up the scroll, returning it to the attendant, He sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on Him. ²¹ And He began to say to them, Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your ears.

³⁶ And looking at Jesus walking, he said, Behold, the Lamb of God! ³⁷ And the two disciples heard him speaking, and they followed Jesus.

⁴⁵ Philip finds Nathanael and said to him, We have found the One of whom Moses wrote in the Law and the Prophets, Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth.

²⁵ The woman said to Him, I know that Messiah is coming, the One called Christ. When that One comes, He will announce to us all things.

²⁸ Then the woman left her waterpot and went away into the city and said to the men, ²⁹ Come, see a Man who told me all things, whatever I did. Is this One not the Christ?

²⁷ For truly both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the nations and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together against Your holy child Jesus, whom You anointed,

³⁸ Jesus the One from Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all those having been oppressed by the Devil, because God was with Him.

³² And we preach the gospel to you, the promise made to the fathers, ³³ that this God has fulfilled to us, their children, raising up Jesus; as also it has been written in the second Psalm, "You are My Son, today I have begotten You." Psa. 2:7

⁸ but as to the Son, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom; ⁹ You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; because of this God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness beside Your fellows." Psa. 45:6, 7

³ We announce to you what we have seen, and what we have heard, that you also may have fellowship with us. And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.

¹⁷ And answering, Jesus said to him, Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father in Heaven. ¹⁸ And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against her.

¹⁶ And He put on Simon the name Peter.

⁸ And seeing, Simon Peter fell at the knees of Jesus, saying, Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.

¹⁴ Simon, whom He also named Peter; and his brother Andrew; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew;

⁴⁷ Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said concerning him, Behold, truly an Israelite in whom is no guile! ⁴⁸ Nathanael said to Him, From where do You know me? Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip called, you being under the fig tree, I saw you.

²⁴ But Jesus Himself did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all, ²⁵ and because He had no need that anyone should witness concerning man, for He knew what was in man.

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, Did I not choose you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil! ⁷¹ But He spoke of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, for this one was about to betray Him, being one of the Twelve.

¹⁸ I do not speak concerning all of you; I know whom I chose out; but that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "The one eating the bread with Me lifted up his heel against Me." Psa. 41:9

² Simon Peter, and Thomas, being called The Twin, and Nathanael from Cana of Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together.

¹⁵ Then when they broke fast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these? He said to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Feed My lambs! ¹⁶ Again He says to him, secondly, Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me? He says to Him, Yes, Lord, You know that I love You. He said to him, Shepherd My sheep! ¹⁷ Thirdly, He said to him, Simon son of Jonah, do you love Me? Peter was grieved that He said to him a third time, Do you love Me? And he said to him, Lord, You perceive all things, You know that I love You! Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep!

¹² But I say this, that each of you says, I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ.

²² whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours,

⁵ Have we not authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as the rest of the apostles also, and Cephas, and the Lord's brothers do ?

⁵ and that He appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve.

⁹ and knowing the grace given to me, James and Cephas and John, those seeming to be pillars, gave right hands of fellowship to Barnabas and to me, that we go to the nations, but they to the circumcision;

¹ I have been sought, not by those who asked. I have been found, not by those who sought Me. To a nation not calling on My name, I said, Behold Me! Behold Me!

¹⁸ And walking beside the sea of Galilee, Jesus saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers. ¹⁹ And He says to them, Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men. ²⁰ And leaving the nets, they immediately followed Him. ²¹ And going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and his brother John in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets. And He called them.

⁹ And passing from there, Jesus saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, Follow Me. And rising up, he followed Him.

³ Philip, and Bartholomew, Thomas, and Matthew the tax-collector, James the son of Alpheus, and Lebbaeus, whose last name was Thaddaeus,

¹⁰ For the Son of man came to seek and to save the one being lost.

²⁸ These things took place in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

³⁵ Again on the morrow, John and two from his disciples stood.

⁵ Then Jesus lifting up His eyes and seeing that a great crowd is coming to Him, He said to Philip, From where may we buy loaves that these may eat?

⁷ Philip answered Him, Loaves for two hundred denarii are not enough for them, that each of them may receive a little.

⁸ And Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.

¹² Not that I already received or already have been perfected, but I press on, if I also may lay hold, inasmuch as I also was laid hold of by Christ Jesus.

¹⁹ We love Him because He first loved us.

²¹ Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the powerful acts which have taken place in you had happened in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

¹⁸ Also He appointed Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

⁴⁵ And at once He constrained His disciples to enter into the boat, and to go before to the other side, to Bethsaida, until He should dismiss the crowd.

²² And He came to Bethsaida. And they carried a blind one to Him, and begged Him that He would touch him.

¹⁰ And returning, the apostles told Him what things they did. And taking them He went out privately to a deserted place of a city called Bethsaida.

¹³ Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the works of power which have been occurring in you had occurred in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago sitting in sackcloth and ashes!

⁸ And Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us. ⁹ Jesus said to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one seeing Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father?

¹⁰ The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the lawmaker from between his feet, until Shiloh come, and the obedience of the peoples to him.

¹⁸ I shall raise up a Prophet to them from among their brothers, one like you; and I will put My words in His mouth; and He shall speak to them all that I shall command Him. ¹⁹ And it shall be, whoever will not listen to My words which he shall speak in My name, I will require it at his hand. ²⁰ But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name, that which I have not commanded him to speak, and who speaks in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. ²¹ And if you say in your heart, How shall we know the word which Jehovah has not spoken? ²² When a prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah, if the thing does not happen or come about, that is the thing which Jehovah has not spoken; that prophet has spoken it proudly; you shall not be afraid of him.

² In that day the Branch of Jehovah will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth for pride and for glory for the survivors of Israel.

¹² And speak to him, saying, So says Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold! The Man whose name is THE BRANCH! And He shall spring up out of His place, and He shall build the temple of Jehovah.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous and victorious, lowly, and riding on an ass, even on a colt, the son of an ass.

²³ And coming, he lived in a city called Nazareth, so as to fulfill that spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene. No OT passage

⁵⁵ Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brothers, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?

¹¹ And the crowds said, This is Jesus, the Prophet, the one from Nazareth of Galilee.

³ Is this one not the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended in Him.

⁶⁷ And seeing Peter warming himself, looking at him, she said, And you were with Jesus the Nazarene.

⁴ And Joseph also went from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because of his being of the house and family of David,

²³ And Jesus Himself was beginning to be about thirty years old, being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph, the son of Heli,

²² And all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words coming out of His mouth. And they said, Is this not the son of Joseph?

²⁷ And beginning from Moses, and from all the prophets, He explained to them the things about Himself in all the Scriptures.

⁴⁴ And He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you yet being with you, that must be fulfilled all the things having been written in the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning Me.

⁴⁶ And Nathanael said to him, Can any good thing be out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see.

⁴⁵ Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; there is one accusing you, Moses, in whom you have hoped. ⁴⁶ For if you were believing Moses, you would then believe Me; for that one wrote concerning Me.

⁴² And they said, Is this not Jesus the son of Joseph, of whom we know the father and the mother? How does this one now say, I have come down out of Heaven?

⁵ They answered Him, Jesus the Nazarene. Jesus said to them, I AM! And Judas, the one betraying Him, also stood with them.

¹⁹ And Pilate also wrote a title and put it on the cross. And having been written, it was: JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

²² Men, Israelites, hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man from God, having been approved among you by powerful deeds and wonders and miracles, which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know,

⁶ But Peter said, There is no silver and gold to me, but what I have, this I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazaraean, rise up and walk!

⁸ And I answered, Who are you, Sir? And He said to me, I am Jesus the Nazarene whom you persecute.

⁹ Indeed, I then thought to myself that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus the Nazarene.

²⁸ And all were filled with anger, hearing these things in the synagogue. ²⁹ And rising up, they threw Him outside the city, and led Him up to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, in order to throw Him down.

⁵⁷ And why do you not judge what is right even of yourselves?

²⁹ Come, see a Man who told me all things, whatever I did. Is this One not the Christ?

⁴¹ Others said, This is the Christ. But others said, No! For does the Christ come out of Galilee? ⁴² Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was? Mic. 5:2

⁵² They answered and said to him, Are you also from Galilee? Search and see that a prophet has not been raised out of Galilee.

²¹ Test all things, hold fast to the good.

² Blessed is the man to whom Jehovah does not charge iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

¹ A Psalm of Asaph. Truly God is good to Israel, to those who are of a pure heart.

³¹ Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, If you continue in My Word, you are truly My disciples.

³⁹ They answered and said to Him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said to them, If you were children of Abraham, you would do the works of Abraham.

²⁸ For he is not a Jew that is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that outwardly in flesh; ²⁹ but he is a Jew that is one inwardly, and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter; of whom the praise is not from men, but from God.

⁴ who are Israelites, whose are the adoption and the glory, and the covenants, and the Lawgiving, and the service, and the promises;

⁶ Not, however, that God's word has failed. For not all those of Israel are Israel,

³ For we are the circumcision, the ones who worship by the Spirit of God, and who glory in Christ Jesus, and who do not trust in flesh.

¹ Then having laid aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil words,

⁵ And no guile was found in their mouth, for they are without blemish before the throne of God.

²⁴ And Jacob was left alone. And a Man wrestled with him until the ascending of the dawn. ²⁵ And He saw that He had not prevailed against him. And He touched on his hip socket, and Jacob's hip socket was unhinged as he wrestled with Him. ²⁶ And He said, Send me away, for the dawn has ascended. And he said, I will not let you go unless You bless me. ²⁷ And He said to him, What is your name? And he said, Jacob.

¹ To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, You have searched me and known me . ² You know my sitting down, and my rising up; You understand my thought from afar off.

²⁴ And it will be, before they call, I will answer. While they are speaking, then I will hear.

⁶ But you, when you pray, enter into your room and shutting your door, pray to your Father in secret. And your Father seeing in secret will repay you in the open.

²⁵ and because He had no need that anyone should witness concerning man, for He knew what was in man.

⁵ Then do not judge anything before time, until the Lord comes, who will both shed light on the hidden things of darkness and will reveal the counsels of the hearts. And then praise will be to each one from God.

²⁵ And so the secrets of his heart become revealed; and so, falling on his face, he will worship God, declaring that God is truly among you.

¹⁸ And to the angel of the church in Thyatira, write: These things says the Son of God, the One having His eyes as a flame of fire, and His feet like burnished brass: ¹⁹ I know your works, and the love, and the ministry, and the faith, and your patience, and your works; and the last more than the first.

⁶ Yea, I have set My king on My holy mount on Zion.

¹ A Psalm of David. A statement of Jehovah to my Lord: Sit at My right hand, until I place Your enemies as Your footstool.

⁷ There is no end to the increase of His government and of peace on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to sustain it with justice and with righteousness, from now and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will do this.

⁵ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and act wisely, and shall do justice and righteousness in the earth. ⁶ In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely. And this is His name by which He shall be called, Jehovah our Righteousness.

²¹ And say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will take the sons of Israel from among the nations, there where they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and will bring them into their own land. ²² And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one King shall be for a king to all of them. And they shall not be two nations still. And they will not be split into two kingdoms any more. ²³ And they will not still be defiled with their idols, even with their filthy idols, nor with all of their transgressions. But I will save them out of all their dwelling places where they have sinned in them, and I will cleanse them. So they shall be for a people to Me and I will be for God to them. ²⁴ And My Servant, David, shall be King over them. And there shall be one Shepherd to all of them. And they shall walk in My judgments and keep My statutes, and do them. ²⁵ And they shall dwell on the land that I have given to my servant, to Jacob, there where your fathers dwelt in it. And they shall dwell on it, they and their sons, and the sons of their sons, forever. And My Servant David shall be a ruler to them forever.

²⁵ Know, then, and understand that from the going out of a word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem, to Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks and sixty two weeks. The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in times of affliction.

⁵ Afterward the sons of Israel shall return and seek Jehovah their God and David their king. And they shall fear Jehovah and His goodness in the ends of the days.

¹⁵ Jehovah has turned off your judgments; He has turned away your enemy. Jehovah, the King of Israel, is in your midst; you shall not fear evil any more.

¹² And speak to him, saying, So says Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold! The Man whose name is THE BRANCH! And He shall spring up out of His place, and He shall build the temple of Jehovah. ¹³ Even He shall build the temple of Jehovah; and He shall bear the majesty, and shall sit and rule on His throne. And He shall be a priest on His throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between the two of them.

² saying, Where is He born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.

¹¹ And Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor questioned Him, saying, Are you the king of the Jews? And Jesus said to him, You say it .

⁴² He saved others; he is not able to save himself. If he is the king of Israel, let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe him.

³⁸ saying, "Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord," the King. Peace in Heaven, and glory in the highest! Psa. 118:26

³⁴ And I have seen and have witnessed that this One is the Son of God.

³⁸ But having seen them following, Jesus said to them, What do you seek? And they said to Him, Rabbi (which being translated is called Teacher), where do You stay?

¹³ took palm branches and went out to a meeting with Him, and they were crying out, Hosanna! "Blessed is He coming in the name of the Lord," the King of Israel! Psa. 118:26 ¹⁴ And finding an ass colt, Jesus sat on it, even as it had been written, ¹⁵ "Do not fear," "daughter of Zion. Behold, your King comes" "sitting on" "the foal of an ass." Isa. 40:9; Zech. 9:9

³⁷ Then Pilate said to Him, Are you really a king? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. For this purpose I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I might witness to the Truth. Everyone being of the Truth hears My voice.

¹⁹ And Pilate also wrote a title and put it on the cross. And having been written, it was: JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS. ²⁰ Therefore, many of the Jews read this title, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city. ²⁸ And Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God! ²⁹ Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, you have believed. Blessed are the ones not seeing and believing.

²⁹ For to each who has, more will be given, and he will abound. But from him who does not have, even that which he has will be taken from him.

⁴⁵ And blessed is she believing, because there will be a completion to the things spoken to her from the Lord.

⁹ And hearing these things, Jesus marveled at him. And turning to the crowd following Him, He said, I say to you, I did not find such faith in Israel.

²⁹ Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, you have believed. Blessed are the ones not seeing and believing.

¹² And he dreamed. And, behold, a ladder was placed on the earth, its top reaching to the heavens. And, behold, the angels of God were going up and going down on it!

¹ And it happened in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

⁹ I was looking until the thrones were thrown up, and the Ancient of Days sat, whose robe was white as snow and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was like flames of fire, its wheels like burning fire. ¹⁰ A stream of fire went out and came out from before Him. A thousand thousands served Him, and a myriad myriads stood before Him. The court was set and the books were opened.

¹³ I was looking in the night visions. And behold! One like the Son of Man came with the clouds of the heavens. And He came to the Ancient of Days. And they brought Him near before Him. ¹⁴ And dominion was given to Him, and glory, and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

⁷ O sword, awake against My Shepherd, and against the Man who is My companion, says Jehovah of hosts. Strike the Shepherd and the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn My hand against the little ones.

¹¹ Then the Devil left Him. And behold! Angels came near and ministered to Him.

²⁰ And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests, but the Son of man has nowhere He may lay His head.

⁶ But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins, then He said to the paralytic, Rising up, lift up your cot and go to your house.

¹³ And coming into the parts of Caesarea of Philip, Jesus questioned His disciples, saying, Whom do men say Me the Son of Man to be? ¹⁴ And they said, Some say John the Baptist, and others Elijah, and others Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. ¹⁵ He said to them, But you, whom do you say Me to be? ¹⁶ And answering, Simon Peter said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

²⁷ For the Son of man is about to come with His angels in the glory of His Father. And then "He will give reward to each according to his actions." LXX-Psa. 61:13; Pro. 24:12; MT-Psa. 62:12 ²⁸ Truly I say to you, There are some standing here who in no way will taste of death until they see the Son of man coming in His kingdom.

³¹ But when the Son of man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

²⁴ Indeed, the Son of man goes, as it has been written about Him. But woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed. It were good for him if that man was never born.

⁶² And Jesus said, I AM! And you will see the Son of man sitting off the right hand of power, and coming with the clouds of the heaven. Psa. 110:1; Dan. 7:13

⁹ And, behold, an angel of the Lord came on them. And the glory of the Lord shone around them. And they feared with a great fear.

¹³ And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying,

²¹ And it happened, in the baptizing of all the people, Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened;

⁴³ And an angel from Heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him.

⁶⁹ From now on the Son of man will be sitting at the right of the power of God. Psa. 110:1

⁴ And it happened, as they were perplexed about this, even behold, two men in shining clothing stood by them.

¹³ And no one has gone up into Heaven, except He having come down out of Heaven, the Son of Man who is in Heaven. ¹⁴ And even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up,

¹⁹ Then Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is not able to do anything from Himself, except what He may see the Father doing; for whatever that One does, these things also the Son does the same way.

²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who hears My word, and believes the One who has sent Me, has everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. ²⁵ Truly, truly, I say to you that an hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and the ones hearing will live.

²⁷ And He also gave authority to Him to execute judgment, for He is the Son of man.

²⁶ Jesus answered them and said, Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me not because you saw miracles, but because you ate of the loaves and were satisfied.

⁴⁷ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one believing into Me has everlasting life.

⁵³ Then Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, you do not have life in yourselves.

³⁴ Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone practicing sin is a slave of sin.

⁵¹ Truly, truly, I say to you, If anyone keeps My Word, he will never ever see death.

¹ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one not entering through the door into the sheepfold, but going up by another way, that one is a thief and a robber.

⁷ Then Jesus again said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you that I am the door of the sheep.

²³ But Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come that the Son of man should be glorified. ²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, unless the grain of wheat that falls into the earth dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.

¹⁶ Truly, truly, I say to you, a slave is not greater than his lord, nor a messenger greater than the one sending him.

²⁰ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who receives whomever I may send receives Me; and the one who receives Me receives the One who sent Me. ²¹ Saying these things, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified and said, Indeed I tell you truly that one of you will betray Me.

³⁸ Jesus answered him, Will you lay down your life for Me? Indeed, I tell you truly, in no way shall a cock crow until you deny Me three times.

¹² Indeed, I tell you truly, He that believes in Me, the works which I do, that one shall do also, and greater than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

²⁰ Truly, truly, I say to you that you will weep and will lament, but the world will rejoice. And you will be grieved, but your grief will become joy.

²³ And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Truly, truly, I say to you, Whatever you shall ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

¹⁸ Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself, and you walked where you desired. But when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you, and will carry you where you do not desire.

¹⁰ And as they were intently looking into the heaven, He having gone, even behold, two men in white clothing stood by them, ¹¹ who also said, Men, Galileans, why do you stand looking up to the heaven? This Jesus, the One being taken from you into the heaven, will come in the way you saw Him going into the heaven.

⁵⁶ And he said, Behold, I see the heavens having been opened, and the Son of man standing at the right of God!

¹¹ And he saw the heaven being opened and a certain vessel like a great sheet coming down on him, being bound by four corners, and let down onto the earth;

⁷ and to give you, those being troubled, relief with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with angels of His power,

⁹ who will pay the penalty: everlasting destruction from the face of the Lord, "and from the glory of His strength," Isa. 2:20

¹⁴ Are they not all ministering spirits for service, being sent out because of the ones being about to inherit salvation?

¹⁴ And "the seventh from Adam," Enoch, also prophesied to these men, saying, Behold, "the Lord came with" myriads "of His saints,"

¹ After these things I saw. And behold, a door being opened in Heaven! And I heard the first voice as a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Come up here, and I will show you what needs to happen after these things.

¹¹ And I saw Heaven being opened. And, behold! A white horse, and He sitting on it having been called Faithful and True. And He judges and wars in righteousness.
