¹ And on the third day a marriage took place in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. ² And Jesus and His disciples also were invited to the marriage. ³ And being short of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no wine. ⁴ Jesus said to her, What is that to Me and to you, woman? My hour has not yet come. ⁵ His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do. ⁶ And there were six stone waterpots standing, according to the purification of the Jews, each containing two or three measures. ⁷ Jesus said to them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them to the top. ⁸ And He said to them, Now draw out and carry to the master of the feast. And they carried it. ⁹ But when the master of the feast tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know from where it was (but the servants drawing the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom, ¹⁰ and he said to him, Every man first sets on the good wine, and when they have drunk freely, then the worse. You have kept the good wine until now. ¹¹ This beginning of the miracles Jesus did in Cana of Galilee. And it revealed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him. ¹² After this He went down to Capernaum, He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples. And He remained there not many days. ¹³ And the Passover of the Jews was near. And Jesus went up to Jerusalem. ¹⁴ And He found those selling oxen and sheep and doves in the temple, and the money changers sitting. ¹⁵ And making a whip out of ropes, He threw all out of the temple, both the sheep, and the oxen, and the money changers, pouring out the money and overturning the tables. ¹⁶ And to the ones selling the doves, He said, Take these things from here! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise. ¹⁷ And His disciples remembered that it was written, "The zeal of Your house has consumed Me." Psa. 69:9 ¹⁸ Then the Jews answered and said to Him, What sign do you show to us, since you do these things? ¹⁹ Jesus said to them, Destroy this sanctuary, and in three days I will raise it up. ²⁰ Then the Jews said, This sanctuary was forty six years being built, and do you raise it up in three days? ²¹ But He spoke about the sanctuary of His body. ²² Then when He was raised from the dead, His disciples recalled that He said this to them. And they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus spoke. ²³ And as He was in Jerusalem, at the Passover, at the Feast, many believed into His name, seeing the miracles which He did. ²⁴ But Jesus Himself did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all, ²⁵ and because He had no need that anyone should witness concerning man, for He knew what was in man.

²⁷ And God created the man in His own image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female. ²⁸ And God blessed them; and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, and over birds of the heavens, and over all beasts creeping on the earth.

¹⁸ And Jehovah God said, It is not good, the man being alone. I will make a helper suited to him. ¹⁹ And Jehovah God formed every animal of the field, and every bird of the heavens out of the ground. And He brought them to the man, to see what he would call it. And all which the man might call it, each living soul, that was its name. ²⁰ And the man called names to all the cattle, and to the birds of the heavens, and to every animal of the field. But no helper suited to him was found for a man. ²¹ And Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh underneath. ²² And Jehovah God formed the rib which He had taken from the man into a woman, and brought her to the man. ²³ And the man said, This now at last is bone from my bones, and flesh from my flesh. For this shall be called Woman, because this has been taken out of man. ²⁴ Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife and they shall become one flesh. ²⁵ And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and they were not ashamed.

²⁸ and Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah to great Sidon.

¹ A Song of Ascents. Blessed is everyone who fears Jehovah, who walks in His ways. ² For you shall surely eat the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and all is good to you. ³ Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine by the sides of your house; your sons shall be like olive plants around your table. ⁴ Behold! So shall the man be blessed who fears Jehovah.

²² Whoever finds a wife finds good, and gets favor from Jehovah.

¹⁴ House and riches are the inheritance of fathers, but a prudent wife is from Jehovah.

¹⁰ Who can find an able woman? For her value is far above jewels. ¹¹ The heart of her husband trusts in her, so that he has no lack of gain. ¹² She deals good with him, and not evil, all the days of her life.

⁴⁶ But while He was yet speaking to the crowds, behold, His mother and brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak to Him.

²⁹ On the morrow, John sees Jesus coming toward him and said, Behold! The Lamb of God, taking away the sin of the world!

³⁵ Again on the morrow, John and two from his disciples stood.

⁴³ And on the morrow, Jesus desired to go out into Galilee. And He found Philip, and says to him, Follow me!

⁴⁶ Then Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick in Capernaum.

² Simon Peter, and Thomas, being called The Twin, and Nathanael from Cana of Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together.

³⁰ For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. ³¹ "For this a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh." Gen. 2:24 ³² The mystery is great, but I speak as to Christ and as to the church. ³³ However, you also, everyone, let each love his wife as himself, and the wife, that she give deference to the husband.

¹ But the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, cleaving to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons, ² in lying speakers in hypocrisy, being seared in their own conscience, ³ forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods, which God created for partaking with thanksgiving by the believers and those knowing the truth.

⁴ Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge fornicators and adulterers.

⁴⁰ The one receiving you receives Me, and the one receiving Me receives Him who sent Me. ⁴¹ The one receiving a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and the one receiving a just one in the name of a just one will receive a just one's reward. ⁴² And whoever gives only a cup of cold water to drink to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you, In no way will he lose his reward.

¹⁹ He will not strive nor cry out, nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.

⁴⁰ And answering, the King will say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you did it to Me.

⁴⁵ Then He will answer them, saying, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did not do it to one of these, the least, neither did you do it to Me.

³⁴ The Son of man has come eating and drinking, and you say, Behold, a man, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners. ³⁵ But wisdom was justified from all her children. ³⁶ And a certain one of the Pharisees asked Him that He eat with him. And going into the Pharisee's house, He reclined. ³⁷ And, behold, a woman who was a sinner in the city, knowing that He reclined in the Pharisee's house, taking an alabaster vial of ointment, ³⁸ and standing at His feet, weeping behind Him, she began to wash His feet with tears. And she was wiping with the hairs of her head. And she ardently kissed His feet and was anointing them with the ointment.

⁴⁰ Andrew the brother of Simon Peter was one of the two who heard from John and was following Him. ⁴¹ This one first found his own brother Simon and tells him, We have found the Messiah (which being translated is, the Christ). ⁴² And he led him to Jesus. And looking at him, Jesus said, You are Simon the son of Jonah; you shall be called Cephas (which translated is Peter). ⁴³ And on the morrow, Jesus desired to go out into Galilee. And He found Philip, and says to him, Follow me! ⁴⁴ And Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter. ⁴⁵ Philip finds Nathanael and said to him, We have found the One of whom Moses wrote in the Law and the Prophets, Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth. ⁴⁶ And Nathanael said to him, Can any good thing be out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see. ⁴⁷ Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said concerning him, Behold, truly an Israelite in whom is no guile! ⁴⁸ Nathanael said to Him, From where do You know me? Jesus answered and said to him, Before Philip called, you being under the fig tree, I saw you. ⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel.

³⁹ A wife is bound by law for as long a time as her husband lives; but if her husband sleeps, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord.

³¹ Then whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things to the glory of God.

¹⁷ And everything, whatever you do in word or in work, do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father through Him.

²⁰ Behold, I stand at the door and knock: If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will enter to him, and I will dine with him, and he with Me.

¹⁵ And wine cheers the heart of man; oil makes his face shine, and bread sustains the heart of man.

¹⁹ Bread is made for laughter, and wine gladdens life; but silver answers all things .

¹¹ A crying over the wine is in the streets; all joy is darkened; the gladness in the land is carried away.

²⁸ For this is My blood of the New Covenant which concerning many is being poured out for remission of sins.

³ Then the sisters sent to Him, saying, Lord, behold, the one whom You love is sick.

⁶ Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and by petition with thanksgivings, let your requests be made known to God;

⁹ who said of his father and his mother, I have not seen him. And he has not acknowledged his brothers, and did not know his own son, for they have kept Your word, and observed Your covenant.

¹⁰ And the king said, What have I to do with you, sons of Zeruiah? For let him curse, even because Jehovah has said to him, Curse David. And who shall say, Why have you done so?

²² And David said, What have I to do with you, O sons of Zeruiah, that you are as my foe today? Shall any man be executed today in Israel? For do I not know that today I am king over Israel?

¹ To all there is an appointed time, even a time for every purpose under the heavens:

²⁹ And, behold! They cried out, saying, What is to us and to You, Jesus, Son of God? Have You come here beforetime to torment us?

²⁸ Then answering, Jesus said to her, O woman, your faith is great; let it be to you as you desire. And her daughter was healed from that hour.

⁴⁹ And He said to them, Why did you look for me? Did you not know that I must be busy in the affairs of My Father?

⁶ Then Jesus said to them, My time is not yet here, but your time is always ready.

³⁰ Then they sought to seize Him; yet no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

²⁰ Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, teaching in the temple; and no one seized Him, for His hour had not yet come.

²³ But Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come that the Son of man should be glorified.

¹ And before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He should move from this world to the Father, loving His own in the world, He loved them to the end.

²⁶ Then seeing His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, Jesus said to His mother, Woman, behold your son! ²⁷ Then He said to the disciple, Behold, your mother! And from that hour, the disciple took her into his own home .

¹³ And they said to her, Woman, why do you weep? She said to them, Because they took away my Lord, and I do not know where they put Him.

¹⁵ Jesus said to her, Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek? Thinking that it was the gardener, she said to Him, Sir, if you carried Him away, tell me where you put Him, and I will take Him away.

¹⁶ So as we now know no one according to flesh, but even if we have known Christ according to flesh, yet now we no longer know Him so .

⁵ to whom not even for an hour we yielded in subjection, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. ⁶ But from those seeming to be something (of what kind they were then does not matter to me; God does not accept the face of man), for those seeming important conferred nothing to me;

²² And Noah did so, according to all that God commanded him, so he did.

¹⁴ she shall not eat of anything that came forth from the grapevine; and she shall not drink wine or fermented drink; and she shall not eat any unclean thing . She shall be careful of all that I commanded her.

⁵ And answering, Simon said to Him, Master, laboring all through the night we took nothing. But at Your word I will let down the net. ⁶ And doing this, they netted a great multitude of fish; and their net was being torn.

⁴⁶ And why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say? ⁴⁷ Everyone coming to Me and hearing My words, and doing them, I will show you to whom he is like: ⁴⁸ He is like a man building a house, who dug and deepened, and laid a foundation on the rock. And a flood having occurred, the stream burst against that house and could not shake it, for it had been founded on the rock. ⁴⁹ But he who heard and did not perform, he is like a man having built his house on the earth without a foundation, on which the stream burst, and it immediately fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

¹⁴ You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

⁶ Both trembling and being astonished he said, Lord, what do you desire me to do? And the Lord said to him, Rise up and go into the city, and it will be told you what you must do.

⁹ and being perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all the ones obeying Him,

⁸ Having been called out by faith, Abraham obeyed to go forth to a place which he was going to receive for an inheritance; and he went out not understanding where he went.

² And seeing some of His disciples eating bread with unclean, that is unwashed hands, they found fault. ³ For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they immerse the hands with the fist, holding the tradition of the elders. ⁴ And coming from the market, they do not eat without immersing. And there are many other things which they received to hold: dippings of cups, and of utensils, and of copper vessels, and couches. ⁵ Then the Pharisees and scribes questioned Him, Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?

²⁵ Then a question from John's disciples arose with the Jews about purifying.

²⁶ that He might sanctify it, cleansing it by the washing of the water in the Word,

² of the baptisms, of doctrine, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of dead ones, and of eternal judgment.

¹⁰ but only on foods and drinks, and various washings, and fleshly ordinances, until the time of setting things right has been imposed.

¹⁹ For when every command had been spoken according to Law by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of the calves and goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and he sprinkled both the scroll and all the people,

²² let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our body having been washed in pure water;

⁶ And Jehovah sent fiery serpents among the people; and they bit the people, and many people of Israel died. ⁷ And the people came in to Moses and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against Jehovah, and against you. Pray to Jehovah, and He shall turn the serpent away from us. And Moses prayed on behalf of the people. ⁸ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, Make yourself a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that when anyone is bitten, when he sees it, he shall live. ⁹ And Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on a pole; and it happened, if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.

³ And you shall go around the city, all the men of battle, going around the city once; so you shall do six days. ⁴ And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of ram's horns before the ark. And on the seventh day you shall go around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. ⁵ And it shall be, when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when you hear the sound of the ram's horn, all the people shall shout with a great shout. And the wall of the city shall fall down flat; and the people shall go up, each man in front of him.

¹³ And Elijah said to her, Do not fear, go, do according to your word, only first make me a little cake of it, and bring to me and afterward prepare for you and for your son.

² And Elisha said to her, What shall I do for you? Tell me. What do you have in the house? And she said, Your handmaid has nothing in the house except a pot of oil. ³ And he said, Go, beg vessels for yourself from outside, from your neighbors, empty vessels. Do not let them be few. ⁴ And you shall go in and shut the door on you, and on your sons, and shall pour out into all these vessels. And you shall set aside the full ones. ⁵ And she left him, and shut the door on her and on her sons. They carried to her, and she poured out. ⁶ And it happened when the vessels were full, she said to her son, Bring another vessel to me. And he said to her, There is no other vessel; and the oil stopped.

¹⁰ And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go, and you shall wash seven times in the Jordan. And your flesh shall return to you, and you shall he clean. ¹¹ And Naaman was angry, and went on, and said, Behold, I said, He will certainly come out to me and will stand and call on the name of Jehovah his God, and will wave his hand over the place, and recover the leper. ¹² Are not Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Shall I not wash in them and he clean? And he turned and went on in fury. ¹³ And his servants came near and spoke to him, and said, My father, if the prophet had spoken a great thing to you would you not do it ? How much rather then when he says to you, Wash, and be clean? ¹⁴ And he went down and dipped in the Jordan seven times, according to the word of the man of God. And his flesh returned like the flesh of a little boy, and he was clean.

² and said to them, Go into the village opposite you. And going into it, at once you will find a colt tied, on which no one of men has sat. Untying it, bring it . ³ And if anyone says to you, Why do you do this? say, The Lord has need of it. And he will at once send it here. ⁴ And they departed and found the colt tied at the door outside, by the crossway; and they untied it. ⁵ And some of those standing there said to them, What are you doing, untying the colt? ⁶ And they said to them as Jesus commanded, and they let them go.

¹² And on the first day of the Unleavened Bread, when they killed the passover, His disciples said to Him, Where do You desire that going we may prepare that You may eat the passover? ¹³ And He sent two of His disciples, and said to them, Go into the city. And you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him. ¹⁴ And wherever he goes in, say to the housemaster, The Teacher says, Where is the guest room where I may eat the passover with My disciples? ¹⁵ And he will show you a large upper room, having been spread and made ready. Prepare for us there. ¹⁶ And His disciples went out and came into the city and found it as He told them. And they prepared the Passover. ¹⁷ And evening having come, He came with the Twelve.

³ And being short of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no wine.

⁵ His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do.

²⁶ But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, Rise up and go along south on the highway going down to Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a deserted place . ²⁷ And rising up he went. And, behold, an Ethiopian man, a eunuch, one in power with Candace the queen of Ethiopians, who was over all her treasure, who had come to Jerusalem to worship! ²⁸ And he was returning. And sitting on his chariot he read the prophet Isaiah. ²⁹ And the Spirit said to Philip, Go near and join yourself to this chariot. ³⁰ And running near Philip heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, Indeed, do you know what you are reading? ³¹ But he said, How should I be able except someone shall guide me? And he called Philip near, to come up to sit with him. ³² And the content of the Scripture which he was reading was this: "He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and as a lamb voiceless before the one shearing it, so He does not open His mouth. ³³ In His humiliation His judgment was taken away; and who will recount His generation? For His life is taken away from the earth." Isa. 53:7, 8 ³⁴ And answering the eunuch said to Philip, I ask you, about whom does the prophet say this? About himself, or about some other one? ³⁵ And opening his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, Philip announced the gospel to him, Jesus. ³⁶ And as they were going along the highway they came on some water. And the eunuch said, Behold, water! What prevents me from being baptized? ³⁷ And Philip said, If you believe from all the heart, it is lawful. And answering he said, I believe Jesus Christ to be the Son of God. ³⁸ And he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. ³⁹ But when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip. And the eunuch did not see him any more; for he went his way rejoicing. ⁴⁰ And Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through he preached the gospel to all the cities until he came to Caesarea.

⁵ Trust in Jehovah with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding; ⁶ In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

⁶ Also their love, their hatred, and their envy has now perished; nor do they any longer have a part forever in all that is done under the sun.

⁹ But when the master of the feast tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know from where it was (but the servants drawing the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom,

⁷ Then give to all their dues: to the one due tax, the tax; to the one due tribute, the tribute; to the one due fear, the fear; to the one due honor, the honor.

¹⁰⁰ I understand more than the aged, for I keep Your precepts.

¹⁷ If anyone desires to do His will, he will know concerning the doctrine, whether it is of God, or I speak from Myself.

³⁴ And one carried portions from before him to them, and Benjamin's portion was greater than the portions of all of them, five hands. And they drank and were drunken with him.

¹ Wisdom has built her house; she has carved out her seven pillars; ² she has slaughtered her slaughter; she has mixed her wine; she has also set her table. ³ She has sent out her maidens; she cries on the highest places of the city; ⁴ The simple one, turn in here; and to one lacking heart, she says to him: ⁵ Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine I have mixed. ⁶ Forsake the foolish, and live, and go in the way of understanding.

¹⁶ The simple one, let him turn in here; and to the one lacking heart, she says to him: ¹⁷ Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. ¹⁸ But he does not know that the departed spirits are there; her guests are in the depths of hell.

¹ I have come into My garden, My sister, My spouse; I have gathered My myrrh with My spice. I have eaten My honeycomb with My honey; I have drunk My wine with My milk. Eat and drink, O friends; yea, drink fully, beloved ones.

²⁵ But Abraham said, Child, remember that you fully received your good things in your lifetime, and Lazarus likewise the bad things. But now he is comforted, and you are suffering.

¹⁶ And they will not hunger still, nor will they thirst still, nor at all shall fall on them the sun, nor any kind of heat. ¹⁷ Because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them on the living fountains of waters; and God will wipe off every tear from their eyes.

⁹ And it shall be, if they will not believe these two signs also, and will not listen to your voice, you shall take of the water of the Nile and pour it on the dry land. And the water which you take from the Nile shall become blood on the dry land.

¹⁹ And Jehovah said to Moses, Say to Aaron, Take your staff, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over the rivers over their canals, and over their pools, and over every body of their waters, so that they may become blood. And blood shall be in all the land of Egypt, both in wooden and in stone vessels. ²⁰ And Moses and Aaron did so, as Jehovah had commanded. And he lifted up the staff and struck the water which was in the river before Pharaoh's eyes, and before his servants' eyes. And all the water in the river turned to blood. ²¹ And the fish in the river died, and the river stunk. And the Egyptians were not able to drink water from the Nile. And the blood was in all the land of Egypt.

²⁴ and you said, Behold! Jehovah your God has revealed His glory and His greatness to us, and we have heard His voice out of the midst of the fire; we have seen today that God speaks with man, and he lives.

¹⁹ And blessed is His glorious name forever; and the whole earth is filled with His glory! Amen and amen!

³ Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonders among all people.

⁷ Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God now is pleased with your works.

⁵ And the glory of Jehovah shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of Jehovah has spoken.

² If you will not hear, and if you will not set it on your heart to give glory to My name, says Jehovah of hosts, then I will send the curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. And indeed, I have cursed it, because you are not setting it on your heart.

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and of truth.

¹⁷ For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

⁵⁰ Jesus answered and said to him, Because I said to you I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these.

²³ And as He was in Jerusalem, at the Passover, at the Feast, many believed into His name, seeing the miracles which He did.

² This one came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that You have come as a teacher from God. For no one is able to do these miracles which You do, except God be with Him.

²³ so that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father who has sent Him.

² And a great crowd followed Him, for they saw His miracles which He did on the sick ones.

¹⁴ Then seeing what miracle Jesus did, the men said, This is truly the Prophet, the one coming into the world.

²⁶ Jesus answered them and said, Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me not because you saw miracles, but because you ate of the loaves and were satisfied.

³⁰ Then they said to Him, Then what miracle do you do that we may see and may believe you? What do you work?

¹⁵ And I rejoice because of you, in order that you may believe that I was not there. But let us go to him.

³⁷ But though He had done so many miracles before them, they did not believe into Him,

⁴¹ Isaiah said these things when he saw His glory, and spoke about Him.

⁹ Jesus said to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one seeing Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father? ¹⁰ Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words which I speak to you I do not speak from Myself, but the Father who abides in Me, He does the works. ¹¹ Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me; but if not, believe Me because of the works themselves.

¹³ And whatever you may ask in My Name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

³⁰ Then truly Jesus did many other miracles in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book. ³¹ But these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

¹⁸ But we all with our face having been unveiled, having beheld the glory of the Lord in a mirror, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, as from the Lord Spirit.

⁶ Because it is God who said, "Out of darkness Light shall shine," who shone in our hearts to give the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Isa. 42:6, 7, 16

¹⁷ For the lightness of our present affliction works out for us an eternal weight of glory, surpassing moment by surpassing moment;

¹⁰ For as many as are out of works of law, these are under a curse. For it has been written, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all the things having been written in the book of the Law, to do them." Deut. 27:26 ¹¹ And that no one is justified by law before God is clear because, "The just shall live by faith." Hab. 2:4 ¹² But the Law is not of faith, but, "The man doing these things shall live in them." Lev. 18:5 ¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it has been written, "Cursed is everyone having been hung on a tree;" Deut. 21:23

¹³ I wrote these things to you, the ones believing in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have everlasting life, and that you may believe in the name of the Son of God.

¹³ And leaving Nazareth, coming He lived at Capernaum, beside the sea in the districts of Zebulun and Naphtali,

²³ And you, Capernaum, who "have been exalted to the heaven, you will be thrown down to Hades." For if the powerful acts happening in you had taken place in Sodom, it would remain until today. Isa. 14:13, 15

⁵⁵ Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brothers, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? ⁵⁶ And are not his sisters all with us? From where then did this one get all these things?

³ Is this one not the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joseph and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended in Him.

¹⁷ And entering into the boat, they were going across the sea to Capernaum. And darkness had already occurred, and Jesus had not come to them.

³ Then His brothers said to Him, Move away from here and go to Judea, that your disciples will also see your works which you do, ⁴ for no one does anything in secret and himself seeks to be in public. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world. ⁵ For His brothers did not believe into Him.

¹³ And when they went in, they went up to the upper room where they were waiting: both Peter and James, and John and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alpheus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas the brother of James. ¹⁴ These all were continuing steadfastly in prayer and in supplication with one mind, with the women, and with Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.

⁵ Have we not authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as the rest of the apostles also, and Cephas, and the Lord's brothers do ?

¹⁹ But I saw no other of the apostles except James the brother of the Lord.

⁶ And it shall be for you to keep until the fourteenth day of this month. And all the assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it between the evenings. ⁷ And they shall take from the blood, and put it on the two side doorposts and on the upper doorpost, on the houses in which they eat it. ⁸ And they shall eat the flesh in this night, roasted with fire, and they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. ⁹ Do not eat it raw, or at all boiled in water, but roasted with fire; its head with its legs and with its inward parts. ¹⁰ And you shall not leave any of it until morning. And you shall burn with fire that left from it until morning. ¹¹ And you shall eat it this way: with your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in haste. It is the Passover to Jehovah. ¹² And I will pass through in the land of Egypt in this night. And I will strike every first born in the land of Egypt, from man even to livestock. And I will execute judgments on all the gods of Egypt. I am Jehovah! ¹³ And the blood shall be a sign to you, on the houses where you are . And I will see the blood, and I will pass over you. And the plague shall not be on you to destroy, when I strike in the land of Egypt. ¹⁴ And the day shall be a memorial for you. And you shall celebrate it as a feast to Jehovah, for your generations. You shall celebrate it as a law forever.

¹⁶ And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the Passover of Jehovah. ¹⁷ And in the fifteenth day of this month a feast: unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days. ¹⁸ In the first day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no work of service. ¹⁹ And you shall offer a fire offering, a burnt offering to Jehovah: two bullocks, sons of the herd, and one ram, and seven lambs, sons of a year; they shall be perfect ones for you; ²⁰ and their food offering, flour mixed with oil. You shall prepare three tenths parts for a bullock, and two tenths parts for a ram. ²¹ You shall prepare one tenth part for the one lamb, and for the seven lambs; ²² and one goat, a sin offering to atone for you, ²³ besides the burnt offering of the morning, the continual burnt offering, you shall prepare these. ²⁴ In this way you shall prepare daily, seven days, bread for a fire offering, a soothing fragrance to Jehovah. It shall be prepared besides the continual burnt offering and its drink offering. ²⁵ And on the seventh day you shall have a holy gathering; you shall do no work of service.

¹ Observe the month Abib, and keep the Passover to Jehovah your God. For in the month of Abib Jehovah your God brought you out of Egypt by night. ² And you shall sacrifice a Passover to Jehovah your God of the flock, and of the herd, in the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there. ³ You shall eat no leavened bread with it. You shall eat unleavened bread with it seven days, even the bread of affliction. For you came out of the land of Egypt in haste, so that you may remember the day that you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life. ⁴ And there shall be no leaven seen with you in your borders seven days; nor shall any of the flesh which you sacrificed the first day at evening remain all night until the morning. ⁵ You may not sacrifice the Passover offering inside any of your gates, which Jehovah your God gives you. ⁶ But at the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, you shall sacrifice the Passover offering at evening, at the going of the sun, at the time when you came out of Egypt. ⁷ And you shall cook and eat in the place which Jehovah your God shall choose. And in the morning you shall turn and go into your tents. ⁸ You shall eat unleavened bread six days, and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Jehovah your God. You shall do no work.

¹⁶ Three times in a year shall all your males appear before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose: In the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and in the Feast of Weeks and in the Feast of Tabernacles. And they shall not appear before Jehovah empty,

⁴¹ And His parents went into Jerusalem year by year at the Feast of the Passover.

¹ After these things, there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

⁴ And the Passover was near, the feast of the Jews.

⁵⁵ And the Passover of the Jews was near. And many went up to Jerusalem out of the country before the Passover, that they might purify themselves.

²³ And you shall eat before Jehovah your God in the place which He shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock; that you may learn to fear Jehovah your God all your days. ²⁴ And if the way is too long for you, so that you cannot carry it, because the place is too far from you which Jehovah your God shall choose to set His name there, when Jehovah your God shall bless you; ²⁵ Then you shall give it for silver, and bind up the silver in your hand. And you shall go to the place which Jehovah your God shall choose. ²⁶ And you shall pay the silver for whatever your soul desires, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for fermented drink, or for whatever your soul desires. And you shall eat there before Jehovah your God, and you shall rejoice you and your household

¹ Behold, I am sending My messenger, and He will clear the way before Me. And the Lord whom you are seeking shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Angel of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He comes, says Jehovah of hosts. ² But who can endure the day of His coming? And who will stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire and like fuller's soap. ³ And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; and He shall purify the sons of Levi and purge them like gold and like silver, that they may be presenters of a food offering in righteousness to Jehovah.

And He overthrew the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling the doves. ¹³ And He said to them, It has been written, "My house shall be called a house of prayer," but you have "made it a den of robbers." Isa. 56:7; Jer. 7:11

¹⁵ And they came to Jerusalem. And entering into the temple, Jesus began to throw out those selling and buying in the temple; also He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling the doves.

¹⁷ And He taught, saying to them, Has it not been written, "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations." "But you have made it a den of robbers."? Isa. 56:7; Jer. 7:11

⁴⁵ And entering into the temple, He began to throw out those selling and buying in it, ⁴⁶ saying to them, It has been written, "My house is a house of prayer," but you made it "a den of robbers." Isa. 56:7; Jer. 7:11

⁶ Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says Jehovah of hosts.

⁶ Then when He said to them, I AM, they departed into the rear and fell to the ground.

⁴ for the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful to God in order to pull down strongholds,

⁵ I, even I will give to them in My house and in My walls a hand and a name better than sons and than daughters; I will give them an everlasting name which shall not be cut off. ⁶ And the sons of the alien who join themselves on Jehovah to serve Him, and to love the name of Jehovah, to be His servants, everyone who keeps from defiling the sabbath, and takes hold of My covenant: ⁷ even them I will bring to My holy mount and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted on My altar, for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the peoples, ⁸ states the Lord Jehovah, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, I will yet gather beside him his gathered ones. ⁹ All beasts of the field come to devour, all beasts in the forest! ¹⁰ His watchmen are blind; they all do not know; they are all dumb dogs; they cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber; ¹¹ yea, dogs greedy of soul; they do not know satisfaction. And they are shepherds; they know not discernment; they all look to their own way, each one for his own gain, from his own end, saying:

¹¹ Has this house on which My name is called become a den of violent ones in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen, declares Jehovah.

⁷ He is a merchant; the scales of deceit are in his hand; he loves to oppress. ⁸ And Ephraim said, I am rich; I have found much wealth for myself. In all my labors they shall find in me no iniquity that is sin.

¹³ And He said to them, It has been written, "My house shall be called a house of prayer," but you have "made it a den of robbers." Isa. 56:7; Jer. 7:11

¹⁷ But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work.

⁴⁹ Jesus answered, I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me.

²⁹ My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck out of My Father's hand.

¹⁷ Jesus said to her, Do not touch Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God, and your God.

²⁴ For a certain silversmith named Demetrius was making silver shrines of Artemis, providing no little trade for the craftsmen. ²⁵ And assembling the workmen about such things, he said, Men, you understand that from this trade is our wealth. ²⁶ And you see and hear that not only Ephesus, but almost all of Asia, persuading, this Paul perverted a huge crowd, saying that those being made by hands are not gods. ²⁷ And not only is this dangerous to us, lest our part come to be in contempt, but also the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be counted nothing, and her majesty is also about to be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worships.

⁵ meddling, of men whose mind has been corrupted and deprived of the truth, supposing gain to be godliness. Withdraw from such persons .

³ And by covetousness, with well-turned words, they will use you for gain, for whom judgment of old does not linger, and their destruction does not slumber.

¹⁴ having eyes full of an adulteress, and never ceasing from sin; alluring unsettled souls; having a heart busied with covetousness; cursed children; ¹⁵ forsaking a straight path, they went astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness,

⁹ For the zeal of Your house has consumed Me; and the reproaches of the ones who reproach You have fallen on Me.

¹³⁹ My zeal has eaten me up, for my enemies have forgotten Your word

³⁸ Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, Teacher, we desire to see a sign from you. ³⁹ But answering, He said to them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and a sign shall not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet. ⁴⁰ And even as "Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights," so shall the Son of man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. Jon. 1:17 ⁴¹ Men, Ninevites, will stand up in the Judgment with this generation and will condemn it. For they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and, behold, a Greater-than-Jonah is here. ⁴² The queen of the south will be raised in the Judgment with this generation and will condemn it. For she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and, behold, a Greater-than-Solomon is here.

¹ And coming, the Pharisees and Sadducees asked Him to show them a sign out of the heaven, tempting Him. ² But answering, He said to them, Evening coming on, you say, Clear sky, for the sky is red. ³ And at morning, Today a storm, for the sky is red, being overcast. Hypocrites! You indeed know how to discern the face of the heaven, but you cannot the signs of the times. ⁴ An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet. And leaving them, He went away.

²³ And He, coming into the temple, the chief priests and elders of the people came near to Him as He was teaching, saying, By what authority do you do these things? And who gave this authority to you?

¹¹ And the Pharisees went out and began to argue with Him, seeking from Him a sign from Heaven, tempting Him.

²⁷ And they came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders came to Him. ²⁸ And they said to Him, By what authority do you do these things? And who gave you this authority that you do these things? ²⁹ But the crowds pressing on Him, He began to say, This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and a sign will not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet.

¹ And it happened on one of those days, as He was teaching the people and announcing the gospel in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes came up, along with the elders, ² and spoke to Him, saying, Tell us by what authority you do these things, or who is it who gave to you this authority?

²⁵ And they asked him and said to him, Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?

⁷ And standing them in the midst, they were inquiring, By what sort of power, or by what sort of name did you do this?

²⁸ saying, Did we not command you by a command that you not teach in this name? And, behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine and intend to bring on us the blood of this man.

⁴⁰ And even as "Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights," so shall the Son of man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. Jon. 1:17

⁶⁰ but did not find any, even though there were many false witnesses coming forward, they did not find any. But at last, coming up two false witnesses ⁶¹ said, This one said, I am able to destroy the Holy Place of God, and in three days to build it.

⁴⁰ and saying, You destroying the Holy Place and building it in three days, if you are the Son of God, come down from the cross.

⁶³ saying, Sir, we have recalled that that deceiver while living said, After three days I will rise.

³¹ And He began to teach them that it is necessary for the Son of man to suffer many things and to be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and to be killed, and after three days to rise again.

⁵⁸ We heard Him saying, I will throw down this temple made with hands, and through three days I will build another not made with hands.

²⁹ And those passing by blasphemed Him, shaking their heads, and saying, Aha! You razing the temple, and in three days building it,

¹⁹ Then Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is not able to do anything from Himself, except what He may see the Father doing; for whatever that One does, these things also the Son does the same way.

¹⁷ For this reason My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, that I may take it again. ¹⁸ No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down from Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. I received this commandment from My Father.

²⁵ Jesus said to her, I am the Resurrection and the Life. The one believing into Me, though he die, he shall live.

²⁴ But God raised Him up, loosing the throes of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.

³² This Jesus God raised up, of which we all are witnesses.

¹⁵ And the Author of Life you killed, whom God raised up from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

²⁶ Having raised up His child Jesus, God sent Him first to you, blessing you in turning away each one from your iniquities.

²⁴ but also on account of us, to whom it is about to be counted, to the ones believing on Him who has raised our Lord Jesus from the dead,

⁴ Therefore, we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, so also we should walk in newness of life.

¹¹ But if the Spirit of the One having raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the One having raised the Christ from the dead will also make your mortal bodies live through the indwelling of His Spirit in you.

³ For I delivered to you in the first place what I also received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, ⁴ and that He was buried, and that He was raised the third day, according to the Scriptures,

¹² But if Christ is proclaimed, that He was raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is not a resurrection of the dead?

¹² being buried with Him in baptism, in whom also you were raised through the faith of the working of God, raising Him from among the dead.

¹⁸ Because even Christ once suffered concerning sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God; indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;

¹⁶ Do you not know that you are a sanctuary of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in you?

¹⁹ Or do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit in you, which you have from God, and you are not of yourselves?

¹⁶ And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God, even as God said, "I will" dwell in them and "walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." Lev. 26:12; Ezek. 37:27

²⁰ being built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the cornerstone, ²¹ in whom every building having been fitted together grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord, ²² in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

¹⁹ because all the fullness was pleased to dwell in Him,

⁹ For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

² Minister of the Holy of Holies, and of the true tabernacle which the Lord pitched, and not man.

⁴ to whom having drawn near, a living Stone, indeed having been rejected by men, but chosen by God, precious; ⁵ you also as living stones are being built a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

¹⁰ For You will not leave My soul in Sheol; You will not give Your Holy One to see corruption.

⁷ saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and to be crucified, and the third day to rise again. ⁸ And they remembered His words.

⁴⁴ And He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you yet being with you, that must be fulfilled all the things having been written in the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning Me.

¹¹ This beginning of the miracles Jesus did in Cana of Galilee. And it revealed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.

¹⁷ And His disciples remembered that it was written, "The zeal of Your house has consumed Me." Psa. 69:9

¹⁶ But His disciples did not know these things at the first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they recalled that these things had been written on Him, and that they did these things to Him.

²⁶ but the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and shall remind you of all things that I said to you.

⁴ But I have spoken these things to you so that when the hour comes you may recall them, that I told you these things. But I did not say these things to you from the beginning because I was with you.

⁸ Therefore, then the other disciple also entered, he having come first to the tomb, even he saw and believed. ⁹ For they did not yet know the Scripture, that it was necessary for Him to rise from the dead.

¹⁶ And I recalled the Word of the Lord, how He said, John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

²⁰ And that sown on the stony places is this: the one hearing the Word, and immediately receiving it with joy, ²¹ but has no root in himself, but is temporary, and tribulation, or persecution occurring because of the Word, he is at once offended.

¹⁶ And likewise, these are the ones being sown on the stony places, who, when they hear the Word, they immediately receive it with joy, ¹⁷ yet they have no root in themselves, but are temporary. Then trouble or persecution having occurred through the Word, immediately they are offended.

¹³ And those on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the Word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a time, and in time of trial draw back.

¹³ And the Passover of the Jews was near. And Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

³¹ But many of the crowd believed into Him, and said, The Christ, when He comes will He do more miracles than these which this One did?

³⁰ As He spoke these things, many believed into Him. ³¹ Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, If you continue in My Word, you are truly My disciples.

⁴² Still, however, even out of the rulers, many did believe into Him. But because of the Pharisees, they were not confessing, so that they not be put out of the synagogue. ⁴³ For they loved the glory of men more than the glory of God.

⁶ For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any strength, but faith working through love.

¹⁶ that He may give you, according to the riches of His glory, by His power to become mighty in the inward man through His Spirit, ¹⁷ that through faith Christ may dwell in your hearts, having been rooted and founded in love,

¹⁹ You believe that God is one. You do well; even the demons believe and shudder. ²⁰ But are you willing to know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is dead?

⁷ And Jehovah said to Samuel, Do not look on his appearance, nor to the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For man does not see what He sees. For man looks for the eyes, but Jehovah looks for the heart.

⁹ And you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a perfect heart, and with a willing mind. For Jehovah searches out all hearts, and He understands every imagination of thoughts. If you shall seek Him, He shall be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

¹⁷ And I know, my God, that You try the heart and are pleased with uprightness; I, in the uprightness of my heart, have offered willingly all these things; and now I have watched with joy Your people who are present here offering willingly to You.

⁹ The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is incurable; who can know it?

⁴ And seeing their thoughts, Jesus said, Why do you think evil in your hearts?

¹⁶ Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. ¹⁷ But beware of men. For they will betray you to sanhedrins, and they will flog you in their synagogues.

⁸ And instantly knowing in His spirit that they reasoned this way within themselves, Jesus said to them, Why do you reason these things in your hearts?

⁴² And he led him to Jesus. And looking at him, Jesus said, You are Simon the son of Jonah; you shall be called Cephas (which translated is Peter).

⁴⁶ And Nathanael said to him, Can any good thing be out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see. ⁴⁷ Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said concerning him, Behold, truly an Israelite in whom is no guile!

⁴² but I have known you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves.

¹⁵ Then knowing that they were about to come and seize Him, that they might make Him king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain alone by Himself.

⁶⁴ But there are some of you who are not believing. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were not believing, and who was the one betraying Him.

³⁰ Now we know that You know all things and have no need that anyone question You. By this we believe that You came out from God.

¹⁷ Thirdly, He said to him, Simon son of Jonah, do you love Me? Peter was grieved that He said to him a third time, Do you love Me? And he said to him, Lord, You perceive all things, You know that I love You! Jesus said to him, Feed My sheep!

²⁴ And having prayed, they said, You, Lord, knower of all hearts, show which one You chose from these two,

¹³ and there is no creature unrevealed before Him; but all things are naked and laid open to His eyes, with whom is our account.

²³ And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches will know that I am the One searching the inner parts and hearts. And I will give to each of you according to your works.

⁶¹ But knowing in Himself that His disciples were murmuring about this, Jesus said to them, Does this offend you?

¹¹ For He knew the one betraying Him. For this reason He said, You are not all clean.
