¹ Then Zophar the Naamathite answered and said: ² Shall this multitude of words not be answered? And should this man of glib lips be justified? ³ Shall your inventions turn men to silence? And shall you keep deriding while there is no one criticizing? ⁴ Now you say, My doctrine is pure, And I am purified in Your eyes. ⁵ But howbeit--O that Eloah would speak, That He should open His lips before you!" ⁶ Then He would tell you obscured secrets of wisdom, For reality has double sides; Hence know this:that Eloah is granting you oblivion of some of your depravity. ⁷ Can you find out the fathoming of Eloah? Could you find out the perfection of Him Who Suffices? ⁸ These are loftier than the heavens; what can you contrive? Deeper than the unseen; what can you know? ⁹ Its measure is longer than the earth And wider than the sea. ¹⁰ If He should pass on by or lock up Or assemble a court, who could turn Him back? ¹¹ For He Himself knows men of hypocrisy; When He sees lawlessness, shall He not consider? ¹² The hollow man shall become wise of heart Whenever the colt of an onager is born a human. ¹³ If you yourself prepare your heart, And you spread out your palms to Him, ¹⁴ If lawlessness is in your hand, put it far away, And do not allow iniquity to tabernacle in your tents, ¹⁵ Then free from blemish, you may lift up your face, And you will become solidly set and shall not fear. ¹⁶ For you would forget the misery; You would remember it only like waters that have passed. ¹⁷ And higher than the noonday sun your life-course shall rise; Should it be faint, it shall become like the morning. ¹⁸ You will trust because there will be expectation; When you reconnoiter, you may lie down in trust. ¹⁹ When you recline, there will be no trembling, And many will beseech your face. ²⁰ Yet the eyes of the wicked shall be exhausted, And flight to safety will perish for them And their expectation become their expiring soul.

¹¹ Now three associates of Job heard about all this evil coming on him, and they set out, each one from his place, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite. They appointed a time together to come and condole with him and comfort him.

¹ Then Zophar the Naamathite answered and said:

² How long shall you declare these things, And the sayings of your mouth be such abundant wind?

³ Will there be an end to such words of wind? Or what is harassing you that you should answer?

² How long before you shall make an end to these words? May you understand, and after that we shall speak.

¹¹ May a man of slander no more become established in the land; A man of violence, may evil hunt him with jolt after jolt."

¹⁹ In the multiplying of words, transgression does not halt, Yet he who keeps back his lips is intelligent."

¹⁸ Now some of the Epicurean as well as Stoic philosophers parleyed with him, and some said, "Whatever may this rook be wanting to say?Yet others, "He seems to be an announcer of strange demons,seeing that he brought them the evangel of Jesus and the resurrection."

¹⁹ Now you are aware, my beloved brethren! Yet let every man be swift to hear, tardy to speak, tardy to anger,

⁴ As the sport of his associates am I becoming, Who was calling to Eloah, and He answered him, Made sport of, though righteous and flawless.

⁴ Howbeit, you are smearing with falsehood, Useless healers are all of you.

⁹ Would it be well if He were investigating you? Could you trifle with Him as one trifles with a mortal?

² Should a wise man answer with knowledge of wind? Or should he fill his belly with the hot east wind? ³ Ought he to plead with speech that is unprofitable, And with declarations that have no benefit in them?

² Assuredly, captious men are all around me, And my eye lodges all night upon their bitterness.

³ Bear with me while I am speaking, And after I have spoken, you may deride.

²⁵ But if not so, indeed who can prove me a liar Or establish my declaration as nothing?

⁷ What master is like Job? He drinks derision like water;

¹⁶ With the pollutions of derisive derisions, They gnashed their teeth against me."

¹⁶ Fill their faces with dishonor, So that men shall seek Your Name, O Yahweh."

¹⁷ I have not sat in an assembly of deriders, Nor do I exult, because of your hand, --Alone I have sat, For [with] indignation You have filled me."

¹⁴ Now if anyone is not obeying our word through this epistle, let it be a sign to you as to this man, not to commingle with him, that he may be abashed;"

⁸ with words sound, uncensurable, that the contrary one may be abashed, having nothing bad to say concerning us."

¹⁸ that they said to you, In the last time will be coming scoffers, going according to their own irreverent desires."

¹⁰ Then there would still be some consolation for me, And I would caper in this travail which He is not sparing, For I have not suppressed the words of the Holy One.

²⁹ Relent, I pray; let it not become iniquity, And relent further; my righteousness is at stake in it. ³⁰ Is there iniquity on my tongue? Or does not my palate understand woes?

²⁰ I have sinned, Yet what do I contrive against You, O Preserver of mankind? Why have You established me as Your target mark, That I should become a load to You?

² Truly I know that this is so, Yet how can a mortal be righteous before El? ³ If he desires to contend with Him, He shall not answer him one time out of a thousand.

⁷ Although Your knowledge is that I am not wicked, And there is no one rescuing from Your hand?

⁴ Who can bring what is clean from the unclean? No one.

⁵ For Job has said:I am just, Yet El, He has taken away my due;" ⁶ Concerning my due, should I lie? My lesion is mortal, yet I am without transgression.

² Is this what you reckon as right judgment? Do you say, This is my righteousness before El,

¹⁵ yet hallow the Lord Christ in your hearts, ever ready with a defense for everyone who is demanding from you an account concerning the expectation in you, but with meekness and fear,

³ O that I knew where I might find Him, That I might come unto His establishment!" ⁴ I would arrange a plea before Him And fill my mouth with pleadings. ⁵ I would know the declarations with which He shall answer, And I would understand what He shall say to me. ⁶ Shall He contend against me with an abundance of vigor? Surely He Himself shall not place charges against me! ⁷ There an upright man would plead with Him; Let me win deliverance permanently from my Judge.

³⁵ (O that I had someone hearing me! Behold, here is my mark; may He Who Suffices answer me! Let a man write his indictment against me on a scroll;"

⁶ Behold, I am corresponding to you before El; I myself also was nipped off from the clay. ⁷ Behold, no dread of me should frighten you, And my palm shall not lie heavy on you. ⁸ Yea, you have spoken in my ears, And I have heard the sound of these declarations. ⁹ I am pure, without transgression; I am unstained, and no depravity is in me;" ¹⁰ Behold, He finds reasons to repudiate me And reckons me as an enemy to Him;" ¹¹ He places my feet in stocks; He observes all my paths. ¹² Behold, I am answering you:In this you are not justified, For Eloah is greater than a mortal. ¹³ For what reason do you contend against Him That He does not answer all his words? ¹⁴ Indeed El does speak once, And twice, yet no one regards it, ¹⁵ In a dream, a vision of the night, When stupor falls upon men, In slumberings on their bed;" ¹⁶ Then He reveals matters to the ear of men, And He dismays them with admonitions, ¹⁷ To withdraw a human from his deed, And that He may obliterate pride in a master. ¹⁸ He keeps back his soul from the pit And his life from passing into the unseen.

¹ Then Yahweh answered Job from the tempest and said: ² Who is this who darkens counsel By declarations without knowledge?

¹ So Yahweh answered Job and said: ² Will one contending with Him Who Suffices admonish Him? The one reproving Eloah, let him answer it. ³ Then Job answered Yahweh and said, ⁴ Behold, I am slight; how can I reply to You? I place my hand upon my mouth. ⁵ I spoke once but shall not answer further, Twice, but I shall not continue.

⁸ Indeed, would you ever quash My judgment? Would you condemn Me that you might be just?

⁷ It came to pass after Yahweh had spoken these words to Job that Yahweh said to Eliphaz the Temanite:My anger is hot against you and your two associates because you did not speak concerning Me what is rightly so as My servant Job has done.

²⁹ The things being concealed are Yahweh our Elohim's, yet the things being revealed are ours and our sons' until the eon, so that we might keep all the words of this law.

¹³ After all that has come over us because of our evil deeds and our great guilt--though You, O our Elohim, have kept back, punishing us less than our depravity deserves, and You have given us a deliverance, such as this-.

⁴ He is wise in heart and resolute in vigor; Who has stiffened himself against Him and fared well?

⁵ For your depravity trains your mouth, And you choose the tongue of the crafty.

⁸ Do you hear the deliberation of Eloah, Or do you hold a monopoly for yourself on wisdom?

¹¹ Are the consolations of El a little thing for you, And a word gently shared with you?

²⁸ And He said to mankind, Behold, the fear of Yahweh, it is wisdom, And to withdraw from evil is understanding.

¹⁴ The intimacy of Yahweh is for those fearing Him, And His covenant, to give them knowledge."

¹⁰ He has neither done to us according to our sins, Nor has He requited us according to our depravities."

⁴³ Many times He rescued them, But they were rebellious in their counsel, And they were reduced lower in their depravity." ⁴⁴ Yet He saw their distress, On His hearing of their appeal, ⁴⁵ And, for them, He remembered His covenant, So that He was merciful according to His many benignities." ⁴⁶ He gave them over to compassions Before all those holding them captive.

²² It is by Yahweh's benignities that we have not come to end, that His compassions are not finished;"

²⁸ Actually, the Eloah in the heavens reveals secrets, and He makes known to king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. O king, live for the eon! Your dream, even the visions of your head on your bed; it is this:"

⁴⁷ Answering is the king to Daniel and saying, "In verity, your Eloah, He is the Eloah of elohim, Lord of kings, and only Revealer of hidden secrets, seeing that you can reveal this secret."

³⁵ so that fulfilled may be that which is declared through the prophet saying, I shall be opening My mouth in parables, I shall be emitting what is hid from the disruption."

²⁵ Now to Him Who is able to establish you in accord with my evangel, and the heralding of Christ Jesus in accord with the revelation of a secret hushed in times eonian, ²⁶ yet manifested now and through prophetic scriptures, according to the injunction of the eonian God being made known to all nations for faith-obedience -"

⁹ But, according as it is written, That which the eye did not perceive, and the ear did not hear, and to which the heart of man did not ascend - whatever God makes ready for those who are loving Him." ¹⁰ Yet to us God reveals them through His spirit, for the spirit is searching all, even the depths of God." ¹¹ For is any of humanity acquainted with that which is human except the spirit of humanity which is in it? Thus also, that which is of God no one knows, except the spirit of God."

⁵ which, in other generations, is not made known to the sons of humanity as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets): in spirit"

⁹ Doer of great deeds, of which there is no fathoming, Marvelous works of which there is no enumeration,

¹⁴ Behold, these are but the fringes of His ways, And what a small buzz of a word is heard of Him! Yet the thunder of His masterful deeds, who shall understand it?

²³ He Who Suffices, we cannot find Him out, Great in vigor and judgment, And abundant in righteousness, Who humbles not.

¹⁹ Your way was through the sea, And Your trails led through vast waters, Yet Your heel-prints were not known."

³ Great is Yahweh, and praised exceedingly, And as to His greatness there is no fathoming."

¹¹ He has made everything fitting in its season; However, He has put obscurity in their heart So that the man may not find out His work, That which the One, Elohim, does from the beginning to the terminus."

²⁸ Do you not know? Should you not hear? The Elohim eonian is Yahweh, Creator of the ends of the earth. He is not fainting, nor is He wearying. And there is no investigating of His understanding."

²⁷ All was given up to Me by My Father. And no one is recognizing the Son except the Father; neither is anyone recognizing the Father except the Son and he to whom the Son should be intending to unveil Him."

³³ O, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How inscrutable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways!"

¹⁰ Yet to us God reveals them through His spirit, for the spirit is searching all, even the depths of God."

¹⁶ For who knew the mind of the Lord? Who will be deducing from Him? Yet we have the mind of Christ.

⁸ To me, less than the least of all saints, was granted this grace: to bring the evangel of the untraceable riches of Christ to the nations,

¹⁸ (for is it true? --Elohim dwells with man on the earth! Lo, the heavens, and the heavens of the heavens, do not contain You, how much less this house that I have built?.

¹² Is not Eloah in the loftiness of the heavens? See the topmost stars, how high they are.

⁶ The unseen was naked in front of Him, And there was no covering for Abaddon.

⁵ Look at the heavens and see; Regard the skies; they are loftier than you.

¹¹ For as the heavens are lofty over the earth, So is His benignity masterful over those fearing Him."

⁶ Such knowledge is marvelous beyond me; It is impregnable; I cannot reach to it. ⁷ Whither could I go from Your spirit, And whither could I run away from Your presence? ⁸ If I should climb to the heavens, You are there, And should I make my berth in the unseen, behold, You are there."

¹³ May they praise the Name of Yahweh, For an Impregnable Retreat is His Name, His alone; His splendor is over the earth and heavens;"

² It is the glory of Elohim to conceal a matter, And the glory of kings to investigate a matter." ³ The heavens for height and the earth for depth, And the heart of kings is fathomless."

⁹ For as the heavens are loftier than the earth, so are My ways loftier than your ways, and my devices than your devices."

² If they are burrowing into the unseen, thence My hand will take them. And if they are ascending to the heavens, thence will I bring them down."

¹⁸ should be strong to grasp, together with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and depth and height" ¹⁹ to know the love of Christ as well which transcends knowledge - that you may be completed for the entire complement of God.

²⁴ For He looks to the ends of the earth; He sees everything under the heavens. ²⁵ When He granted weight to the wind And when He regulated the waters by measure,

⁵ By fear inspiring deeds, shall You answer us in righteousness, O Elohim of our salvation, The Trust of all the ends of the earth and the sea afar, ⁶ Establishing the mountains by His vigor, Being belted with mastery, ⁷ Becalming the tumult of the seas, The tumult of their billows and clamor of the national groups." ⁸ And the dwellers of the ends shall fear because of Your signs; The breaking forth of the morning and evening You shall cause to be jubilant.

⁹ Should I wear the wings of dawn, Should I tabernacle in the hindmost sea, ¹⁰ Even there Your hand would guide me, And Your right hand, it would hold me."

³⁰ How could one pursue a thousand or two put a myriad to flight, if it were not that their Rock had sold them, and Yahweh had surrounded them?

¹⁸ For He Himself causes pain, and He shall bind up; He stabs, and His hands, they shall heal.

¹² Behold, should He abduct, who could turn Him back? Who could say to Him, What are You doing? ¹³ Eloah, He does not reverse His anger; The helpers of Rahab prostrate before Him.

¹⁴ Behold, He demolishes, and it shall not be rebuilt; He locks up a man, and it shall not be opened.

²⁹ When He is quiet, who can condemn? When He conceals His face, who can regard Him? Yet He is over a nation and over humanity alike.

⁸ Who shut in the sea with double doors When it rushed forth, it came forth from the womb,

⁸ And You have not locked me up into the hand of the enemy; You have made my feet stand in a wide place.

²⁷ first to Zion, `Behold! Behold them!' And to Jerusalem a tidings-bearer will I give for the path,

³⁵ All abiding on the earth are reckoned as naught:According to His will is He doing in the army of the heavens and with those abiding on the earth. And no one will actually clap with his hands and say to Him, "What doest Thou?

⁷ And to the messenger of the ecclesia in Philadelphia write: "Now this is saying the True, the Holy One, Who has the key of David, and Who is opening and no one shall be locking, and locking and no one shall be opening:"

¹³ Yet you say, What does El know? Can He judge through murkiness? ¹⁴ Thick clouds are a concealment for Him, so that He cannot see, And He walks about the circle of the heavens.

²¹ For His eyes are on the ways of a man, And He sees all his steps. ²² There is no darkness and no blackest shadow To conceal there the contrivers of lawlessness. ²³ For He does not set an appointed time for a man To go before El in judgment.

¹¹ He says in his heart, El has forgotten; He has concealed His face; He will not see at all, permanently.

¹⁴ You see, indeed You, the toil and vexation; You shall look to place it into Your hand. Unto You, the pauper shall entrust himself; You are the One helping the orphan.

²² You have seen this; O Yahweh, do not be silent; O Yahweh, do not be far from me."

¹¹ Yahweh is the One knowing the devisings of humanity, That they are a transitory breath."

⁸ If you should see extortion of the destitute And pillage of judgment and justice in a province, Do not be amazed over the event, For one lofty official above another lofty official is observing, And other lofty officials are over them."

⁹ Crooked [is] the heart above all things, And it [is] incurable--who does know it? ¹⁰ I Yahweh do search the heart, try the reins, Even to give to each according to his way, According to the fruit of his doings."

² They avoid saying to their heart that I remember all their evil. Now their own actions surround them; in front of My face they come.

¹³ You are of cleaner eyes than to see evil, and to look at toil You are not able. Why are You looking at the treacherous, are silent when the wicked swallow one up more righteous than he?

²⁴ Yet Jesus Himself did not entrust Himself to them, because of His knowing all men, ²⁵ for He had no need that anyone should be testifying concerning mankind, for He knew what was in mankind."

¹³ And there is not a creature which is not apparent in its sight. Now all is naked and bare to the eyes of Him to Whom we are accountable.

²³ And her children shall I be killing with death, and all the ecclesias shall know that I an He Who is searching the kidneys and hearts. And I will be giving to each of you in accord with your acts."

¹³ Seizing the wise in their craftiness, So that their cunning counsel is carried headlong.

⁵ Does an onager bray over verdure? Would a bull low over its fodder?

² Truly, you are the people, And with you wisdom shall die!" ³ However, I have heart understanding as well as you; I am not falling behind you; For who is there not knowing such things as these?

¹⁴ What is a mortal that he should be purged, Or that one born of a woman should be justified?

⁵ Who has sent forth the onager free, And who has unloosed the bonds of the wild donkey, ⁶ Whose home I have constituted the steppe, And the salty wastes as his habitat? ⁷ He makes sport of the clamor of the town; He does not hear the tumults of the taskmaster. ⁸ He explores the mountains as his pasture And seeks after every green thing.

⁵ Behold, I was with depravity when I was travailed in birth, And in sin when my mother conceived me."

⁹ Common sons of Adam are only a transitory breath, Noted sons of man a lie; If brought up on the scales, They are less than a transitory breath altogether." ¹⁰ Do not trust in extortion, And in pillage, do not place vain hope; Though your estate be producing, do not set your heart on it."

²² I was irrational, and I was ignorant; I became like the beasts before You."

⁶ An irrational man, he does not know, And a stupid one, he cannot understand this:"

² Indeed I am brutish, less than a man, And human understanding is not in me." ³ I have not learned wisdom That I may know of the knowledge of the grand Holy One. ⁴ Who has ascended the heavens and descended? Who has gathered the wind in both His hands? Who has tied up the waters in a garment? Who has confirmed all the limits of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, in case you know?

¹⁸ I said in my heart:It is on account of the sons of humanity That the One, Elohim, seeks to manifest them And to show them that they themselves are beasts."

²⁴ A wild ass accustomed to a wilderness, In the desire of her soul she has swallowed up wind, Her meeting--who does turn her back? None seeking her do weary themselves, In her month they find her."

²² Alleging themselves to be wise, they are made stupid,

¹⁶ being mutually disposed to one another, not being disposed to that which is high, but being led away to the humble. Do not come to pass for prudent with yourselves."

¹⁸ Let no one be deluding himself. If anyone among you is presuming to be wise in this eon, let him become stupid, that he may be becoming wise, ¹⁹ for the wisdom of this world is stupidity with God. For it is written, "He is clutching the wise in their craftiness." ²⁰ And again, The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are vain."

³ (among whom we also all behaved ourselves once in the lusts of our flesh, doing the will of the flesh and of the comprehension, and were, in our nature, children of indignation, even as the rest),

²⁰ Now are you wanting to know, O empty man, that faith apart from works is dead?

¹³ Who is wise and an adept among you? Let him show his works by an ideal behavior in meekness of wisdom. ¹⁴ Now if you are having bitter jealousy and faction in your heart, are you not vaunting against and falsifying the truth? ¹⁵ This is not the wisdom coming down from above, but terrestrial, soulish, demoniacal. " ¹⁶ For wherever jealousy and faction are, there is turbulence also, and every bad practice." ¹⁷ Now the wisdom from above is first, indeed, pure, thereupon peaceable, lenient, compliant, bulging with mercy and good fruits, undiscriminating, unfeigned."

³ And Samuel speaks unto all the house of Israel, saying, `If with all your heart you are turning back unto Yahweh--turn aside the elohims of the stranger from your midst, and Ashtaroth; and prepare your heart unto Yahweh, and serve Him only, and He does deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines..

¹⁴ and he does the evil thing, for he has not prepared his heart to seek Yahweh.

³ but good things have been found with you, for you have put away the shrines out of the land, and have prepared your heart to seek Elohim..

⁸ Howbeit, as for me, I inquire of El, And before Elohim do I place my cause,

⁵ Yet if you yourself seek early for El, And to Him Who Suffices you supplicate, ⁶ If you are purged and upright, Even now He would rouse Himself over you, And He would bring peace to your righteous homestead.

²¹ Be careful, I pray, toward Him, and fare well, By these means good shall come to you. ²² Take hold, I pray, to the law from His mouth, And place His sayings in your heart.

³¹ Let envoys arrive from Egypt; Let Nubia run with its hands stretched out to Elohim.

⁸ Then they shall not become like their fathers, A generation stubborn and rebellious, A generation that had neither established its heart, Nor was its spirit faithful to El."

⁹ My eye, it pines away with humiliation; I call on You, O Yahweh, throughout every day; I spread out my palms to You."

⁶ I spread forth my hands to You; My soul looks to You like a fainting land. {Interlude{

⁴⁷ Now that slave who knows the will of his lord and does not make ready, nor yet does aught with a view to his will, shall have many lashes."

⁷ Remember, I pray, who that is innocent perishes? And where then are the upright suppressed?

⁵ Is it not because your evil is great, And there is no end to your depravities?

²³ If you return unto Him Who Suffices and you submit, If you put iniquity far from your ten.

³² Until I can perceive, direct me Yourself; If I have contrived iniquity, I shall not do so again?

² I will contemplate the flawless way. --When shall You come to me?-- I shall walk in the integrity of my heart within my house.

¹⁵ And when you spread your palms to Me, I will obscure My eyes from you. Moreover, in case you are increasing your prayers, there is no hearing by Me. Your hands are full of blood. Amidst your fingers extrudes lawlessness."

³⁰ Therefore, each according to his ways I judge you, O house of Israel? An affirmation of the Lord Yahweh, Turn you back, yea, turn yourselves back, From all your transgressions, And iniquity is not to you for a stumbling-block, ³¹ Cast from off you all your transgressions, By which you have transgressed, And make to you a new heart, and a new spirit, And why do you die, O house of Israel?

³ And he is saying to me, This is the execration which is faring forth over the surface of the entire land, for every thief, henceforth as death doomed shall be visited with vengeance, and every swearer, henceforth as death doomed shall be visited with vengeance." ⁴ I will bring it forth, (averring is Yahweh of hosts), and it enters into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears in My name falsely, and it lodges in the midst of his house, and it consumes it and its timbers and its stones."

⁸ Draw near to God, and He will be drawing near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, double-souled!"

⁵ yet to Cain and to his present offering He does not give heed. And hot is Cain's anger exceedingly, and falling is his face. ⁶ And saying is Yahweh Elohim to Cain, "Why is your anger hot? And why does your face fall?

¹⁵ If I am wicked, alack for me! Yet if I am righteous, I shall not lift up my head, Surfeited with dishonor and satiated with my humiliation.

²⁶ For then you shall find pleasure for yourself in Him Who Suffices, And you shall lift your face to Eloah.

¹ {Davidic{ Yahweh is my Light and my Salvation; Whom should I fear? Yahweh is the Stronghold of my life; Of whom should I be afraid?

¹ {For the Sons of Korah{ {Concerning the Eons{ {A Song{ Elohim is our Refuge and Strength, A very providing Help in distresses."

⁶ Truly he shall not slip for the eon; The righteous one shall become an eonian remembrance. ⁷ He shall not fear an evil report; His heart is established, trusting in Yahweh." ⁸ His heart is stalwart; he shall not fear, Since he shall see the fate of his foes."

⁶ Then I should not be ashamed When I look to all Your instructions. ⁷ I shall acclaim You in uprightness of heart, While I learn Your righteous ordinances."

²⁶ In the fear of Yahweh lies a strong ground of trust, And it shall become a refuge for his sons."

¹ The wicked man flees when there is no one pursuing, Yet the righteous trust confidently like a sheltered lion."

¹² For our boasting is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, we behaved ourselves in the world, yet more superabundantly toward you."

⁸ I am intending, then, that men pray in every place, lifting up benign hands, apart from anger and reasoning."

²⁸ And now, little children, remain in Him, that, if He should be manifested, we should be having boldness and not be put to shame by Him in His presence."

¹⁹ And in this shall we be knowing that we are of the truth and shall be persuading our hearts in front of Him, ²⁰ seeing that, if our heart should be censuring us, God is greater than our heart, and He knows all." ²¹ Beloved, if our heart should not be censuring us, we have boldness toward God, ²² and whatsoever we may be requesting, we are obtaining from Him, for we are keeping His precepts and are doing what is pleasing in His sight."

¹¹ And I set up My covenant with you, that not cut off shall all flesh be in the future by the waters of a deluge, neither will there come a future deluge of water to wreck the entire earth.

⁵¹ And calling is Joseph the name of the firstborn Manasseh, for "the Elohim makes me oblivious of all my toil and all my father's household.

¹⁵ My brothers, they are treacherous like a watercourse, Like a channel of watercourses that overflow,

¹¹ Light has become darkness so you cannot see, And a concourse of water is covering you.

⁷ Let him drink and forget his destitution, And let him remember his misery no further."

²⁰ For he shall not be much mindful of the days of his life, For the One, Elohim, is keeping him occupied with the rejoicing of his heart."

¹ And you will say, in that day, "I am acclaiming You, Yahweh, for You wast angry with me, yet reversing is Your anger, and You are comforting me." ² Behold! El is my Salvation. I am trusting in Him and am not afraid. For my Strength and Melody is Yah, Yahweh, and He is becoming mine for salvation."

⁴ You must not fear, for you are not shamed, and you must not be confounded, for you shall not be abashed. For the shame of your adolescence will you forget, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no longer."

⁹ For this is the waters of Noah to Me. As I swore off from passing the waters of Noah again over the earth, so I swore off from wrath over you further and from rebuking you."

¹⁶ The one blessing himself in the land, shall bless himself by the Elohim of truth, and the one swearing in the land, shall swear by the Elohim of truth. "For forgotten are the former distresses, for they are concealed also from My eyes."

²¹ A woman, whenever she may be bringing forth, is having sorrow, seeing that her hour came; yet whenever she should be bearing the little child, no longer is she remembering the affliction, because of the joy that a human being was born into the world."

¹⁴ And I have declared to him: "My lord, you are aware.And he said to me, "These are those coming out of the great affliction. And they rinse their robes, and they whiten them in the blood of the Lambkin." ¹⁵ Therefore they are before the throne of God and are offering divine service to Him day and night in His temple. And He Who is sitting on the throne will be tabernacling over them. ¹⁶ They shall not be hungering longer, nor yet shall they be thirsting any longer; no, neither should the sun be falling on them, nor any heat, ¹⁷ seeing that the throne-centered Lambkin shall be shepherding them, and shall be guiding them to living springs of water, and every tear shall God be brushing away from their eyes."

¹⁰ And David blesses Yahweh before the eyes of all the assembly, and David said, `Blessed [are] You, Yahweh, Elohim of Israel our father, from eon even unto eon.

¹¹ All his brothers and all his sisters came to him and all his acquaintances from before, and they ate bread with him in his house. Then they condoled with him and comforted him over all the evil that Yahweh had brought upon him. Each of them gave to him one kesitah, and each, one pendant of gold. ¹² Thus Yahweh Himself blessed the latter years of Job more than his beginning. He came to have a flock of fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand pair of oxen and a thousand jennies. ¹³ Also he came to have seven sons and three daughters. ¹⁴ He called the name of the first Jemimah, the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-happuch. ¹⁵ Women so lovely as the daughters of Job were not found in the whole country. Their father gave them an allotment in the midst of their brothers. ¹⁶ Job lived after this a hundred and forty years. And he saw his sons and his sons sons to four generations. ¹⁷ Then Job died, old and satisfied with days.

⁶ So He will make your righteousness shine forth like the light, And your right judgment like the noonday sun."

¹⁴ They shall still produce when greyhaired; They shall be sleek and flourishing,

⁴ In the darkness he radiates as a light for the upright ones; He is gracious, compassionate and righteous."

¹⁸ While the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn's brightness, Advancing and becoming resplendent until the day is established,

⁸ Then your light shall be rent as the dawn, and your longevity with haste shall sprout. And there goes before you your righteousness. And the glory of Yahweh shall gather about you." ⁹ Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer, you will implore, and He will say, "Behold Me!You should take away from your midst the slider bar, and the pointing of the finger and speaking lawlessness, ¹⁰ and promote for the famishing the bread for your soul, and the humbled soul shall you satisfy. Then radiant will be your light in the darkness, and your gloom as the noon."

³ And we shall know--we shall pursue to know Yahweh; as the dawn is prepared we shall find Him, and He will come to us as a downpour, as the latter rain and the former rain of the land."

⁸ You must not rejoice against me, O my enemy. Though I fall, I shall rise. Though I am sitting in darkness, Yahweh shall be light for me." ⁹ The turbulence of Yahweh I will bear, for I have sinned against Him, till He is contending my contention, and shall execute my judgment. He will bring me forth to the light; I shall see by His righteousness."

⁶ And it shall come to be in that day that no light shall come, or cold or frost." ⁷ And one day shall come, it shall be known to Yahweh, not day and not night, and it comes that at eventide there shall come light."

² Yet the Sun of righteousness shall radiate to you who fear My name, and healing is in its wings. And you shall come forth, and you prance as calves of the stall."

²⁶ And he was apprised by the holy spirit that he would not be acquainted with death ere he should be acquainted with the Lord's Christ. ²⁷ And he came, in the spirit, into the sanctuary, and as the parents are bringing in the little Boy Jesus, for them to do according to the custom of the law concerning Him, ²⁸ he also receives Him, clasping Him in his arms. And he blesses God, and said, ²⁹ Now art Thou dismissing Thy slave, O Owner, According to Thy declaration, in peace, ³⁰ For my eyes perceived Thy Salvation, ³¹ Which Thou dost make ready suiting the face of all the peoples, ³² A Light for the revelation of nations, And the Glory of Thy people Israel."

⁵ Your threshing will overtake the vintage, and the vintage, it shall overtake the sowing; you will eat your bread to satisfaction and dwell in trust in your land. ⁶ I will give peace in the land, and you will lie down with no one making you tremble; I will eradicate the vicious animal from the land, and no sword shall pass through your land.

¹¹ What is my vigor that I should wait? And what is my end that I should prolong my soul?

⁶ My days are fleeter than a weaver's shuttle, And they shall conclude with the limit of the weaving thread.

²⁷ You shall entreat Him, and He shall hear you, And you shall pay your vows. ²⁸ When you prescribe a matter, it shall be confirmed to you, And light will brighten your ways. ²⁹ When they abase, then you may claim pride, For He shall save the downcast of eyes.

⁵ As for me, I will lie down that I may sleep; I will awake, for Yahweh, He shall support me.

⁸ Let me lie down and sleep in peace at once. For You, O Yahweh, alone are causing me to dwell in serenity. {Permanent, Concerning the Allotments{ "

²⁴ Whenever you lie down you should not be afraid; Now you have lain down, and your sleep has been congenial." ²⁵ You shall certainly not fear sudden alarm Or the ruination of the wicked that is coming; ²⁶ For Yahweh Himself shall be your confidence, And He will keep your foot from seizure."

³² The wicked man is tripped up by his evil, Yet the righteous one takes refuge in his integrity."

³ Yet not only so, but we may be glorying also in afflictions, having perceived that affliction is producing endurance, ⁴ yet endurance testedness, yet testedness expectation." ⁵ Now expectation is not mortifying, seeing that the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the holy spirit which is being given to us."

²⁷ to whom God wills to make known what are the glorious riches of this secret among the nations, which is: Christ among you, the expectation of glory"

²⁶ And Abimelech goes to him from Gerar, with Ahuzzath, his associate, and Phicol, the chief of his host. ²⁷ And saying to them is Isaac, "For what reason do you come to me, when you hate me and you are sending me away from you? ²⁸ And saying are they, "We see, yea, see that Yahweh has come to be with you, and we are saying, `Let there come, pray, an oath of imprecation between us, between us and you, and contract will we a covenant with you. ²⁹ Should you do to us evil, when we do not touch you, and when we do to you but good, and send you away in peace?' You are now the blessed of Yahweh. ³⁰ And making is he for them a feast, and eating are they and drinking. ³¹ And rising early are they in the morning, and swearing are they, a man to his brother. And sending them away is Isaac. And they are going from him in peace.

⁸ Now take for yourselves seven bullocks and seven rams. Go to my servant Job, and offer up an ascent offering on behalf of yourselves. And Job, my servant, he shall pray for you. For then I shall lift up his face by not inflicting on you any disgrace. For you did not speak concerning Me what is rightly so as My servant Job has done. ⁹ So they went, Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite, and they did just as Yahweh had spoken to them. And Yahweh lifted up Job's face.

¹² The daughter of Tyre comes with an approach present, The rich of the people are beseeching Your presence."

⁶ Many beseech a patron to his face, And everyone is the associate of a man with gifts."

¹⁴ Thus says Yahweh of hosts, "The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia, and the Sabeans, mortals of exceptional measure, shall pass over to you and become your servants. After you shall they go. In manacles shall they pass. And to you shall they prostrate, and to you shall they pray:`Yea, among you is the El, and no one else is the limit of the Elohim.'"

¹⁴ And go to you to prostrate shall all the sons of your humiliators, and worship at the soles of your feet shall all your spurners. And they call you the city of Yahweh, Zion of the Holy One of Israel."

⁹ Lo! I have granted to those of the synagogue of Satan, (who are saying that they themselves are Jews, and are not, but are lying) - Lo! I shall be making them that they will be arriving and worshiping, before your feet, and they may know that I love you."

¹⁶ indeed, I Myself shall do this to you:I will visit panic upon you, attenuation and fever, making the eyesight vanish and causing the soul to pine; and you will sow your seed for naught, for your enemies will eat it.

⁶⁵ And among those nations you shall neither find respite, nor shall there be a resting place for the sole of your foot, and Yahweh will give to you there a disturbed heart, a failure of the eyes and pining of the soul.

¹³ So are the paths laid for all those forgetting El, And so the expectation of the polluted shall perish, ¹⁴ He whose confidence is a web, And his trust is a spider's house.

⁵ Such a one is telling his associates to share a portion with him, While the eyes of his own sons are failing.

¹⁴ He shall be pulled away from his tent where his trust had dwelt; And it makes him march to the king of decay.

⁸ For what expectation can the polluted have when he is clipped off, When Eloah eases away his soul?

²² One shall fling stones against him and not spare As he runs away, yea away from his hand.

¹⁶ If I have withheld the desire of the poor And have caused the eyes of the widow to fail,

²² There is no darkness and no blackest shadow To conceal there the contrivers of lawlessness.

³ I am weary with all my calling; my throat is parched. My eyes have failed, waiting for my Elohim."

²⁴ What the wicked one shrinks from, it shall come to him, And what the righteous yearn for shall be given."

²⁰ He who maledicts his father and his mother, His lamp shall be extinguished at the approach of darkness."

¹⁷ Furthermore for us our eyes are exhausted looking for our help in vain; From our watchtower we watched for a nation which could not save us.

¹⁴ Yet fleeing shall perish from the fleet one, and the steadfast shall not make his vigor resolute, and the master shall not escape with his soul,

¹⁹ just as a man is fleeing from the face of the lion, and the bear comes on him, and he enters the house and supports his hand on the sidewall, and the serpent bites him." ²⁰ Shall not the day of Yahweh be darkness, and not light? And gloom, and no brightness to it?

¹ I see Yahweh stationed over the altar, and He is saying, Smite the sphere-like capital, and the thresholds will quake; clip them at the head, all of them, and I will kill the hindmost of them with the sword. He shall not flee with those who are fleeing, and he shall not escape with those who are delivered." ² If they are burrowing into the unseen, thence My hand will take them. And if they are ascending to the heavens, thence will I bring them down." ³ And if they are hiding in the summit of Carmel, thence will I search and take them. And if they are concealed from in front of My eyes on the floor of the sea, thence will I instruct the serpent, and it will bite them."

²³ And in the unseen, lifting up his eyes, existing in torments, he is seeing Abraham from afar, and Lazarus in his bosom." ²⁴ And he shouting, said, 'Father Abraham, be merciful to me, and send Lazarus that he should be dipping the tip of his finger in water and cooling my tongue, for I am pained in this flame.'" ²⁵ Now Abraham said, 'Child, be reminded that you got your good things in your life, and Lazarus likewise evil things. Yet now here he is being consoled, yet you are in pain." ²⁶ And in all this, between us and you a great chasm has been established, so that those wanting to cross hence to you may not be able, nor yet those thence may be ferrying to us.'"

³ how shall we be escaping when neglecting a salvation of such proportions which, obtaining a beginning through the speaking of the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who hear Him,
