LXX_WH(i) 1 καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τωβιας τὸν ραφαηλ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ 2 αζαρια ἄδελφε λαβὲ μετὰ σεαυτοῦ παῖδα καὶ δύο καμήλους καὶ πορεύθητι ἐν ῥάγοις τῆς μηδίας παρὰ γαβαηλ καὶ κόμισαί μοι τὸ ἀργύριον καὶ αὐτὸν ἄγε εἰς τὸν γάμον 3 διότι ὀμώμοκεν ραγουηλ μὴ ἐξελθεῖν με 4 καὶ ὁ πατήρ μου ἀριθμεῖ τὰς ἡμέρας καὶ ἐὰν χρονίσω μέγα ὀδυνηθήσεται λίαν 5 καὶ ἐπορεύθη ραφαηλ καὶ ηὐλίσθη παρὰ γαβαήλῳ καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ τὸ χειρόγραφον ὃς δὲ προήνεγκεν τὰ θυλάκια ἐν ταῖς σφραγῖσιν καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτῷ 6 καὶ ὤρθρευσαν κοινῶς καὶ ἤλθοσαν εἰς τὸν γάμον καὶ εὐλόγησεν τωβιας τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ
Clementine_Vulgate(i) 1 Tunc vocavit Tobias angelum ad se, quem quidem hominem existimabat, dixitque ei: Azaria frater, peto ut auscultes verba mea. 2 Si meipsum tradam tibi servum, non ero condignus providentiæ tuæ: 3 tamen obsecro te ut assumas tibi animalia sive servitia, et vadas ad Gabelum in Rages civitatem Medorum, reddasque ei chirographum suum, et recipias ab eo pecuniam, et roges eum venire ad nuptias meas. 4 Scis enim ipse quoniam numerat pater meus dies, et si tardavero una die plus, contristatur anima ejus. 5 Et certe vides quomodo adjuravit me Raguel, cujus adjuramentum spernere non possum. 6 Tunc Raphaël assumens quatuor ex servis Raguelis, et duos camelos, in Rages civitatem Medorum perrexit: et inveniens Gabelum, reddidit ei chirographum suum, et recepit ab eo omnem pecuniam. 7 Indicavitque ei de Tobia filio Tobiæ omnia quæ gesta sunt, fecitque eum secum venire ad nuptias. 8 Cumque ingressus esset domum Raguelis, invenit Tobiam discumbentem: et exiliens, osculati sunt se invicem: et flevit Gabelus, benedixitque Deum, 9 et dixit: Benedicat te Deus Israël, quia filius es optimi viri et justi, et timentis Deum, et eleemosynas facientis: 10 et dicatur benedictio super uxorem tuam, et super parentes vestros, 11 et videatis filios vestros, et filios filiorum vestrorum, usque in tertiam et quartam generationem: et sit semen vestrum benedictum a Deo Israël, qui regnat in sæcula sæculorum. 12 Cumque omnes dixissent: Amen: accesserunt ad convivium: sed et cum timore Domini nuptiarum convivium exercebant.

And he made Gabelus come with hym to the weddyngis. 8 And whanne he entride in to the hows of Raguel, he foond Tobie sittynge at the mete; and `he skippide vp, and thei kissiden hem silf togidere. 9 And Gabelus wepte, and blesside God, and seide, The Lord God of Israel blesse thee, for thou art the sone of a ful good man, and iust, and dredynge God, and doynge almesdedis; 10 and blessing be seid on thi wijf, and on youre fadris and modris, 11 and se ye youre sones, and the sones of youre sones, til in to the thridde and the fourthe generacioun; and youre seed be blessid of God of Israel, that regneth in `to the worldis of worldis. 12 And whanne alle men hadden seid Amen, thei yeden to `the feeste; but also thei vsiden the feeste of weddyngis with the drede of the Lord.
Geneva(i) 1 Then Tobias called Raphael, and sayde vnto him, 2 Brother Azarias, take with thee a seruant and two camels, and goe to Rages of the Medes to Gabael, and bring mee the money and bring him to the wedding. 3 For Raguel hath sworne that I shall not depart. 4 But my father counteth the dayes: and if I tarie long, he will be very sory. 5 So Raphael went out & came to Gabael, and gaue him the hande writing, who brought forth bagges which were sealed vp, and gaue the to him. 6 And in the morning they went forth, both together, and came to the wedding; Tobias begate his wife with childe.
Bishops(i) 1 Then Tobias called vnto him the angell, who he thought to haue ben a man, and saide vnto him: Brother Azarias, I pray thee hearken vnto my wordes, 2 If I shoulde geue my selfe to be thy seruaunt, I shall not deserue thy prouidence. 3 Neuerthelesse, I beseche thee that thou wilt take the beastes and the seruauntes, & go vnto Gabelus in Rages the citie of the Medes, and delyuer him his hand writing, and receaue the money of him, and pray him to come to my mariage. 4 For thou knowest thy selfe that my father doth number the dayes: and if I tary one day to long, he wyll be sory in his minde. 5 Now seest thou how earnestly Raguel hath required me, so that I can not say him nay. 6 Then toke Raphael foure of Raguels seruauntes and two Camels, and went vnto Rages the citie of the Medes: And when he had founde Gabelus, he gaue him his hand writing, and receaued all the money. 7 He tolde him also of Tobias the sonne of Tobi, how al thinges had happened: and caused him to come with him to the mariage. 8 Now when he came into the house of Raguel, he founde Tobias sittyng at the table: and he leaped vp, & they kissed one another, and Gabelus wept, and praysed God, 9 And saide: The blessing of the God of Israel haue thou, for thou art the sonne of a right vertuous and iust man, and of one that feareth God, & geueth great almes: 10 And blessing haue thy wyfe, and your elders, 11 That ye may see your children, and your childrens children vnto the third & fourth generation: and your seede be blessed of the God of Israel, which raigneth worlde without end. 12 And when they all had sayde Amen, they went to the feast: but with the feare of the Lorde held they the feast of the mariage.
