Mark 15:42-47

Worsley(i) 42 And the evening being now come, (because it was the preparation, 43 or the day before the sabbath,) Joseph of Arimathea, an honorable counsellor, who also was expecting the kingdom of God, came and went in boldly to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. 44 But Pilate wondered that He was dead already, and therefore calling for the centurion he asked him if He had been dead any time: 45 and when he heard it from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. 46 And he bought fine linen, and took Him down, and wrapped Him in the linen, and laid Him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock; and rolled a stone to the door of the sepulchre. 47 And Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of Joses observed where He was laid.
