John 7:25-27 Some therefore of them of Jerusalem, said, Is not this he whom they seek to kill?

Whiston⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁵ Some therefore of them of Jerusalem, said, Is not this he whom they seek to kill? ²⁶ But lo, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing unto him: do the rulers know indeed that this is the Christ? ²⁷ But we know him whence he is: but when Christ shall come, no one knoweth whence he is.
