John 7:25-27 Therefore some out of those from Jerusalem said, Is this not the one whom they are seeking to kill?

MLV⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁵ Therefore some out of those from Jerusalem said, Is this not the one whom they are seeking to kill? ²⁶ And behold, he speaks publicly and they say nothing to him. Have the rulers truly known that this one is truly the Christ? ²⁷ But we know where this one is from, but whenever the Christ comes, no one knows where he is from.
