46 Then they proceeded on to Jericho, and as he was going out of Jericho, with his disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimeus, son of Timeus, was sitting by the way side, begging.
47 And when he heard that it is Jesus, the Nazarene, he began to cry aloud, and say, Jesus, son of David, have pity on me.
48 And many rebuked him, that he should hold his peace; but he cried the louder, Son of David, have pity on me.
