46 And they come to Jericho. And as He was going out from Jericho—and His disciples, and a large crowd—a blind beggar, Bartimaeus, son of Timaeus, was sitting beside the road.
47 And having heard that it is Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and to say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.”
48 And many were rebuking him, that he should be silent; but he kept crying out much more, “Son of David, have mercy on me.”
