Hebrews 5:1-5

Riverside(i) 1 FOR every high priest taken from among men is appointed in behalf of men in things relating to God to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. 2 He is able to sympathize with the ignorant and the erring, since he himself is beset with weaknesses. 3 For this reason he must bring an offering for his own sins, just as he does for those of the people. 4 And no one takes this honor upon himself unless called by God, as Aaron was. 5 So too Christ did not take for himself the glory of becoming a high priest, but he who said to him, "Thou art my Son, to-day I have become thy Father,"
