Hebrews 5:1-5

Sawyer(i) 1 (2:2) For every chief priest taken from men is appointed in behalf of men over things relating to God, that he may offer gifts and sacrifices for sins, 2 being able to deal gently with the ignorant and erring, since he is himself encompassed with infirmity, 3 and as for the people, so also for himself, he is obliged to present offerings for sins. 4 And no one takes the honor on himself but he that is called by God, even as Aaron also was. 5 So also Christ did not put on himself the honor of being made a chief priest, but he that said to him, Thou art my Son, to-day have I begotten thee;
