1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord; for this is right.
2 "Honor thy father and mother;" which is the first commandment with a promise;
3 "that it may be well with thee, and thou mayst live long on the earth."
4 And, ye fathers, stir not up the anger of your children, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
