Matthew(i)
38 And he came vnto the house of the ruler of the Synagoge, and sawe the wondringe, & them that wepte and wayled greatly,
39 & went in and sayde vnto them: why make ye this a do and wepe? The mayden is not dead, but slepeth.
40 And thy laught him to scorne. Then he put them all out, and toke the father & the mother of the mayden, & them that were with hym, and entred in where the mayden laye,
41 & toke the mayden by the hande, and sayd vnto her: Talitha cumi: which is by interpretacion: mayden I saye vnto the aryse.
42 And streyght the mayden arose, and went on her fete. For she was of the age of twelue yeres. And thei were astonyed at it out of measur.
43 And he charged them straytely that no man shoulde know of it, and commaunded to geue her meate.
