MSTC⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁵ And he said unto them, "If any of you should have a friend, and should go to him at midnight, and say unto him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves; ⁶ for a friend of mine is come out of the way to me, and I have nothing to set before him': ⁷ And he within should answer and say, 'Trouble me not, now is the door shut, and my servants are with me in the chamber, I cannot rise and give them to thee.' ⁸ I say unto you, Though he would not arise and give him, because he is his friend: Yet because of his importunity he would rise and give him as many as he needed.
