8 For while leaving the commandment of God, you are holding-fast the tradition of men, like immersions of pint pitchers and cups, and you practice many other such similar things.
9 And he said to them, You reject well the commandment of God, in order that you may keep your tradition. 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘He who is speaking evil of father or mother, let him be ended by the sentence of death.’ 11 But you say, If a man says to his father or his mother, Whatever you might have been profited from me is Corban. (That is, a gift). 12 And so you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother, 13 invalidating the word of God by your tradition, which you have been given, and you practice many such similar things.
