49 While still speaking, someone from the ruler of the synagogue’s house comes, saying, Your daughter has died; do not bother the Teacher.
50 But Jesus hearing it, answered him, saying, Do not fear. Only believe and she will be cured. 51 Now having entered into the house, he allowed no one to enter it, except Peter and John and James, and the father and the mother of the child. 52 Now all were weeping and grieving her. But he said, Do not weep; she is not dead, but is sleeping. 53 And they were laughing at him, knowing that she was dead. 54 But he, having cast everyone outside and taking-hold of her hand, shouted, saying, Child, arise. 55 And her spirit returned, and she rose up instantly, and he commanded that something be given to her to eat.
