4 But God being rich in mercy, through his great love with which he loved us,
5 even us, who were dead in trespasses, he has made alive together with Christ; (by favor you are saved;)
6 and has raised us up together, and has set us down together in heavenly places with Christ Jesus;
7 that he might show, in the ages to come, the exceeding riches of his favor in his kindness toward us by Christ Jesus.
8 For by favor you are saved through faith; and this salvation not by yourselves; it is the gift of God-
