The nations have drunk of her wine, therefore the nations rage. ⁸ Suddenly Babylon has fallen, and it is broken. Wail for her, take balm for her pain, if perhaps she may be healed. ⁹ We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed. Forsake her, and let us go, each one into his own country. For her judgment reaches to the heavens, and is lifted up to the skies.
