1 Kings 13:1-4 And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel : and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense .

3 H5414 And he gave [H8804] H4159 a sign H3117 the same day H559 , saying [H8800] H4159 , This is the sign H3068 which the LORD H1696 hath spoken [H8765] H4196 ; Behold, the altar H7167 shall be rent [H8738] H1880 , and the ashes H8210 that are upon it shall be poured out [H8738] .

4 H4428 And it came to pass, when king H3379 Jeroboam H8085 heard [H8800] H1697 the saying H376 of the man H430 of God H7121 , which had cried [H8804] H4196 against the altar H1008 in Bethel H7971 , that he put forth [H8799] H3027 his hand H4196 from the altar H559 , saying [H8800] H8610 , Lay hold [H8798] H3027 on him. And his hand H7971 , which he put forth [H8804] H3001 against him, dried up [H8799] H3201 , so that he could [H8804] H7725 not pull it in again [H8687] to him.

And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.
