Exodus 13:17 ויהי And it came to pass, בשׁלח go, פרעה when Pharaoh את העם had let the people ולא them not נחם led אלהים that God דרך the way ארץ of the land פלשׁתים of the Philistines, כי although קרוב near; הוא that כי for אמר said, אלהים God פן Lest peradventure ינחם repent העם the people בראתם when they see מלחמה war, ושׁבו and they return מצרימה׃ to Egypt:
