26 Now the woman was a Greek, of Syrophoenician birth. And she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
27 He said to her, "Let the children first eat all they want, for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."
28 But she answered, "True, sir! and still the dogs under the table eat what the children leave!"
29 He said to her, "If you can say that, go home; the demon has left your daughter."
