Bishops⁽ⁱ⁾ ²⁶ The woman was a Greke, out of the nation of Syrophenissa: & she besought hym, that he woulde cast out the deuyll from her daughter ²⁷ But Iesus saide vnto her, let the children first be fedde: For it is not meete to take the chyldrens bread, and to caste it vnto litle dogges ²⁸ She aunswered, and saide vnto hym, euen so Lorde: neuerthelesse, the litle dogges also eate vnder the table, of the chyldrens crumbes ²⁹ And he sayde vnto her: For this saying, go thy way, the deuyll is gone out of thy daughter
