Goodspeed⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁷ When the day of Unleavened Bread came, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed, ⁸ Jesus sent Peter and John, saying to them, "Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover." ⁹ They said to him, "Where do you want us to prepare it?" ¹⁰ He said to them, "Just after you enter the city, you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him to the house to which he goes, ¹¹ and say to the man of the house, 'Our Master says to you, "Where is the room where I can eat the Passover supper with my disciples?" ' ¹² And he will show you a large room upstairs with the necessary furniture. Make your preparations there." ¹³ So they went and found everything just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover supper.
