Thomson⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁷ Now when the day of unleavened bread was come, on which the paschal lamb was to be killed, ⁸ Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare the paschal lamb for us, that we may eat it. ⁹ Upon which they said to him, Where dost thou wish us to prepare it? ¹⁰ And he said to them, Behold as you enter the city you will meet a man carrying a pitcher of water. Follow him to the house where he goeth in, ¹¹ and say to the master of that house, The teacher saith to thee, Where is the guest chamber in which I may eat the passover with my disciples? ¹² And he will shew you a large upper room, furnished. There make ready. ¹³ So they went and found as he told them, and made ready the passover.
