ECB⁽ⁱ⁾ ³ You, say to them, Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: You, turn to me, says Yah Veh Sabaoth, and I turn to you - an oracle of Yah Veh Sabaoth. ⁴ Become not as your fathers to whom the former prophets called out, saying thus: - an oracle of Yah Veh Sabaoth Turn, I beseech, from your evil ways and from your evil exploits! - and they neither heard nor hearkened to me - an oracle of Yah Veh. ⁵ Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, live they eternally? ⁶ Only, my words and my statutes which I misvahed to my servants the prophets, overtook they not your fathers? And they return and say, As Yah Veh Sabaoth intrigues to work to us, according to our ways and our exploits, works he thus with us.
