1 To His Eminence; On Strummer; A Psalm by David. Answer me when I call, O Elohim of my justness; in my tribulation you enlarged me; grant me charism and hear my prayer.
2 O you sons of men, until when is my honor for shame - you who love vanity and seek after lies? Selah.
3 And know that Yah Veh set apart the mercied for himself; Yah Veh hears when I call to him.
4 Quiver and sin not; say with your own heart on your bed and be still. Selah.
5 Sacrifice the sacrifices of justness; confide in Yah Veh.
6 Many say, Who has us see good? O Yah Veh, lift the light of your face on us.
7 You gave cheerfulness in my heart, from the time their crop and their juice abounded by the myriads.
8 I altogether lie down in shalom and sleep; for you only, O Yah Veh, settle me confidently.
5 1 To His Eminence; On Flute; A Psalm by David. Hear my sayings, O Yah Veh; discern my meditation:
2 hearken to the voice of my cry, my Sovereign and my Elohim; for I pray to you.
3 Hear my voice in the morning, O Yah Veh; in the morning I arrange to you and watch.
4 For you are an El who neither delights in wickedness; nor sojourns with evil.
5 They who halal settle not at your eyes; you hate all who work mischief:
6 you destroy them who word lies; Yah Veh abhors the man of bloods and deceit.
7 And as for me, I come into your house in the abundance of your mercy; and in your awe I prostrate toward your holy manse.
8 O Yah Veh, Lead me in your justness because of my opponents; straighten your way at my face:
9 for naught is established in their mouth; their inwards are calamities; their throat is an open tomb; they smooth over with their tongue.
10 They guilt, O Elohim; fell them by their own counsels: in the abundance of their rebellions drive them away: for they rebel against you.
11 And all who seek refuge in you cheer; they eternally shout because you cover them over; may they who love your name jump for joy in you:
12 for you bless the just, O Yah Veh; with pleasure you surround him as a shield.
6 1 To His Eminence; On Strummer; On Octave; A Psalm by David. O Yah Veh, neither reprove me in your wrath, nor discipline me in your fury.
2 Grant me charism, O Yah Veh, for I languish; Heal me, O Yah Veh, for my bones are terrified;
3 my soul is mighty terrified. And you, O Yah Veh, until when?
4 Return, O Yah Veh, rescue my soul; save me for sake of your your mercies:
5 for your memorial is not in death; who spreads hands to you in sheol?
6 I belabor with my sighing; all night my bed swims: I flow my bedstead with my tears;
7 my eye is motheaten in vexation - antiquates because of all my tribulators.
8 Turn from me, all you working mischief; for Yah Veh hears the voice of my weeping:
9 Yah Veh hears my supplication; Yah Veh takes my prayer.
10 All my enemies shame and terrify mightily; they return and shame in a blink.
7 1 Lyric Poem, by David, which he sang to Yah Veh, concerning the words of Kush the Ben Yaminiy. O Yah Veh my Elohim, in you seek I refuge; save me from all my pursuers and rescue me:
2 lest he tear my soul like a lion - craunching, while there is none to rescue.
3 O Yah Veh my Elohim, If I worked this; if there is wickedness in my palms;
4 if I dealt evil to him who shalamed with me; or rescued my tribulator in vain:
5 may the enemy pursue and overtake my soul; yes, trample my life on the earth and tabernacle my honor in the dust. Selah.
6 Rise, O Yah Veh, in your wrath, lift yourself; because of the fury of my tribulators: and waken for me the judgment you misvahed.
7 Thus the witnesses of the nations surround you; so for their sakes, return in the heights.
8 Yah Veh pleads the cause of the people; O Yah Veh, judge me according to my justness and according to my integrity within me:
9 I beseech, cease the evil of the wicked; and establish the just: for the just Elohim proofs the hearts and reins.
10 My buckler is on Elohim, who saves the straight in heart:
11 Elohim is a just judge and El enrages every day.
12 If he turns not, he sharpens his sword; he bends his bow and prepares
13 - prepares the instruments of death for him; he heats his arrows for them who pursue.
14 Behold, he despoils with mischief and conceives toil and births falsehood:
15 he digs a well - digs and falls in the pit of ruin he made:
16 his toil returns on his own head and his violence descends on his own scalp.
17 I spread hands to Yah Veh according to his righteousness; and psalm to the name of Yah Veh Elyon.
8 1 To His Eminence; On Gittith; A Psalm by David. O Yah Veh, our Adonay, how mighty your name in all the earth; who gives your majesty above the heavens.
2 From the mouth of infants and sucklings you founded strength; because of your tribulators - to shabbathize the enemy and the avenger.
3 For I see your heavens, the work of your fingers; the moon and the stars, you established!
4 What is man, that you remember him? - and the son of humanity, that you visit him?
5 For you lessen him than Elohim and crown him with honor and majesty;
6 to reign over the works of your hands and put all under his feet:
7 flocks and oxen, yes, and the animals of the field;
8 the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea and whatever passes through the paths of the seas.
9 O Yah Veh our Adonay, how excellent your name in all the earth!
9 1 To His Eminence; On Muth Labben/Death of the Son; A Psalm by David. I spread hands, O Yah Veh, with my whole heart; I scribe all your marvellous works;
2 I cheer and jump for joy in you; I psalm to your name, O you Elyon.
3 When my enemies return they falter and destruct at your face.
4 For you work my judgment and my plea; you settle in the throne judging justness;
5 you rebuke the goyim; you destroy the wicked; you erase their name eternally and eternally.
6 O you enemy, your parched areas consummate in perpetuity; and the cities you uprooted - their memorial destructs with them.
7 And Yah Veh settles eternal; he prepares his throne for judgment:
8 he judges the world in justness; he pleads the cause of the nations in straightnesses.
9 Yah Veh is a secure loft for the oppressed - a secure loft in times of tribulation:
10 and they who know your name confide in you; for you forsake not them who seek you, O Yah Veh.
11 Psalm to Yah Veh who settles in Siyon; tell his exploits among the people:
12 he remembers them who search for blood; he forgets not the cry of the humble.
13 Grant me charism, O Yah Veh; see my humiliation of them who hate me - you who lift me from the portals of death;
14 so that I scribe all your halal in the portals of the daughter of Siyon: I twirl in your salvation.
15 The goyim sink in the pit of ruin they worked; - capture their foot in the net they hid.
16 Yah Veh is known by the judgment he works; the wicked is snared in the deeds of his palms. Meditation. Selah.
17 The wicked turn to sheol with all the goyim who forget Elohim.
18 Neither are the needy forgotten in perpetuity; nor the hope of the humble destructs eternally.
19 Rise, O Yah Veh; strengthen not man: judge the goyim at your face.
20 Put them in awe, O Yah Veh, that the goyim know they are but men. Selah.
10 1 Why stand you afar off, O Yah Veh? Why conceal yourself in times of tribulation?
2 The pompous wicked hotly pursue the humble; - grab them in the intrigue they machinate:
3 because the wicked halal the desire of his soul and bless the greedy whom Yah Veh scorns.
4 The wicked, through lifted nostrils, seek not: Elohim is not! are all his intrigues:
5 his ways writhe at all times. Your judgments in the heights are from his sight; as for all his tribulators, he puffs at them.
6 He says in his heart, I totter not from generation to generation - never in evil.
7 His mouth is full of oaths and deceits and fraud; under his tongue is toil and mischief;
8 he settles in the lurks of the courts; he slaughters the innocent in the coverts; he hides his eyes from the unfortunate:
9 he lurks in the coverts as a lion in his sukkoth/brush arbor; he lurks to catch the humble; he catches the humble drawing him into his net.
10 He crushes; he prostrates; his mighty fells the army of the unfortunates.
11 He says in his heart, El forgets! he hides his face; he sees it not in perpetuity.
12 Rise, O Yah Veh; O El, lift your hand: forget not the humble.
13 The wicked - why scorn they Elohim? He says in his heart, Not required!
14 You see; for you scan toil and vexation, they give into your hand; they leave the unfortunate to you you - the helper of the orphan.
15 Break the arm of the wicked and the evil; seek out his wickedness until you find none.
16 Yah Veh is Sovereign eternally and eternally; the goyim destruct from his land.
17 O Yah Veh, you hear the desire of the humble; you prepare their heart; you hearken your ear;
18 to judge the orphan and the oppressed that the man of the earth not terrify again.
11 1 To His Eminence; By David. In Yah Veh I seek refuge; how say you to my soul, Wander as a bird to your mountain?
2 For, behold, the wicked bend their bow; they prepare their arrow on the cord; and in the darkness shoot at the straight in heart.
3 If the foundations demolish, what are the just to do?
4 Yah Veh is in his holy manse, the throne of Yah Veh is in the heavens; his eyes see; his eyelids proof the sons of humanity.
5 Yah Veh proofs the just; and the wicked who love violence his soul hates.
6 On the wicked he rains snares - fire and sulphur and a raging wind/spirit; - the allotment of their cup.
7 For just Yah Veh loves justness; his face sees the straight.
12 1 To His Eminence; On the Octave; A Psalm by David. Save, O Yah Veh; for the mercied decease; for the trustworthy disappear from among the sons of humanity.
2 Every man words vanity with his friend; with lips that smooth it over they word heart to heart.
3 Yah Veh cuts off all lips that smooth it over and the tongue that words greatnesses:
4 who say, With our tongue we prevail mightily; our lips are our own; who is adoni over us?
5 For the devastation of the humble, for the shrieking of the needy, I now rise, says Yah Veh; I set him in safety from him who puffs at him.
6 The sayings of Yah Veh are pure sayings; as silver refined in a furnace of earth - refined sevenfold.
7 Guard them, O Yah Veh, guard us from this generation eternally.
8 The wicked walk all around, when the violent sons of humanity are exalted.
13 1 To His Eminence; A Psalm by David. Until when forget you me, O Yah Veh? In perpetuity? Until when hide you your face from me?
2 Until when set I counsel in my soul - having grief in my heart daily? Until when lofts my enemy over me?
3 Look and answer me, O Yah Veh my Elohim! Light my eyes, lest I sleep in death;
4 lest my enemy say, I prevailed against him; and my tribulators twirl when I totter.
5 And I - I confide in your mercy; my heart twirls in your salvation.
6 I sing to Yah Veh, because he deals with me.
14 1 To His Eminence; By David. The fool, in his heart, says, No Elohim!. They ruin; - abhorrent exploits; none works good.
2 Yah Veh, from the heavens, looks down on the sons of humanity, to see if there is one who comprehends and seeks Elohim.
3 They all turn aside, together they muddle; no one works good - no, not one.
4 Have all doing mischief not known? - who eat my people as they eat bread - who call not on Yah Veh.
5 In dreading, they dread; for Elohim is in the generation of the just.
6 You shame the counsel of the humble, because Yah Veh is his refuge.
7 Who gives the salvation of Yisra El from Siyon? When Yah Veh returns the captivity of his people. Twirl, O Yaaqov! Cheer, O Yisra El!
15 1 A Psalm by David. Yah Veh, Who sojourns in your tent? Who tabernacles in your holy mountain?
2 He who walks integriously and does justness and words the truth in his heart.
3 He neither steps with his tongue nor works evil to his friend nor lifts a reproach against his neighbour.
4 His eyes despise a spurner but honor them who awe Yah Veh. He who oaths to villify, and changes not;
5 he neither gives his silver to usury nor takes bribe against the innocent; he who works these totters not eternally.
16 1 Poem by David. Guard me, O El; for in you I seek refuge.
2 You say to Yah Veh - you, my Adonay my goodness is not to you;
3 but to the holy in the earth; and to the mighty in whom is all my delight.
4 Their contortions abound who hasten after another; I neither libate their libations of blood; nor lift their names to my lips.
5 Yah Veh is the portion of my allotment and of my cup; you uphold my pebble:
6 the lines fall to me in pleasure; yes, I have a glorious inheritance.
7 I bless Yah Veh who counsels me; also in the night my reins discipline me:
8 I set Yah Veh continually in front of me; because he is at my right, I totter not:
9 so my heart cheers and my honor twirls; and my flesh tabernacles confidently.
10 For you neither forsake my soul in sheol; nor give your Mercied One to see the pit of ruin:
11 you have me know the path of life; at your face is satisfying cheerfulness; at your right are pleasures in perpetuity.
17 1 A Prayer by David. Hear justness, O Yah Veh; hearken to my shouting: hearken to my prayer from lips without deceit.
2 My judgment comes from your face; your eyes see them who are in straightnesses;
3 you proof my heart; you visit me in the night; you refine me; you find naught; I plot that my mouth not transgress.
4 Concerning the deeds of humanity, by the word of your lips I guard me from the paths of the destroyer.
5 Uphold my steps in your paths that my steps totter not.
6 I - I call you, for you answer me, O El; spread your ear to me and my sayings:
7 distinguish your marvellous mercy, O you, who by your right saves them who seek refuge from those who rise.
8 Guard me as the pupil - the daughter of the eye, hide me under the shadow of your wings
9 from the face of the wicked who ravage me - from my soul enemies who surround me.
10 They shut their fat; their mouth words pompously:
11 they surround our steps; they set their eyes spreading to the earth:
12 as as a lion yearning for his prey - as a whelp settling in the coverts.
13 Rise, O Yah Veh, anticipate his face; knuckle him under: slip my soul from the wicked by your sword
14 - from men by your hand, O Yah Veh - from transient men whose allotment is this life - in whose belly you treasured treasure: their sons satiate and leave the remainder to their infants.
15 As for me, I see your face in justness; I satsify when I waken with your manifestation.
18 1 To His Eminence; By David the servant of Yah Veh: who worded to Yah Veh the words of this song in the day Yah Weh rescued him from the palm of his enemies, and from the hand of Shaul: and he says, I mercy you, O Yah Veh, my strength!
2 Yah Veh is my rock and my stronghold and my escape; my El, my rock in whom I seek refuge; my buckler and the horn of my salvation; my secure loft.
3 I call Yah Veh, The Halaled One: - saved from my enemies.
4 The cords of death surround me; the wadies of Beli Yaal frighten me;
5 the cords of sheol surround me; the snares of death anticipate me.
6 In my tribulation I call on Yah Veh and cry to my Elohim; he hears my voice from his manse, and my cry comes at his face - to his ears.
7 And the earth shakes and quakes; the foundations of the mountains quake and shake because he is inflamed.
8 A smoke ascends from his nostrils and fire from his mouth consumes - it burns coals.
9 And he spreads the heavens, and descends; dripping darkness is under his feet:
10 he rides on a cherub and flies; yes, he flies on the wings of the wind:
11 he sets darkness for his covert; his sukkoth/brush arbor surrounds him - dark waters and thick clouds of vapours:
12 at the brilliance in front of him his thick clouds pass - hail and coals of fire.
13 Yah Veh thunders in the heavens; Elyon gives his voice - hail and coals of fire:
14 yes, he sends his arrows and scatters them; he shoots lightnings and agitates them.
15 And the reservoirs of waters were seen, and exposed are the foundations of the world at your rebuke, O Yah Veh - at the breath of the wind/spirit of your nostrils.
16 He sends from the heights; he takes me; he draws me from many waters:
17 he rescues me from my strong enemy - from them who hate me; for they are stronger than I.
18 They anticipate me in the day of my calamity; and Yah Veh is my support.
19 He brings me to an expanse; he rescues me, because he delights in me:
20 Yah Veh deals according to my justness; - returns according to the purity of my hands:
21 for I guard the ways of Yah Veh - not done wickedly against my Elohim.
22 For all his judgments are in front of me and I turn not aside his statutes from me:
23 and I am integrious in front of him and I guard myself from my perversity:
24 and Yah Veh returns to me according to my justness - according to the purity of my hands in his eyes.
25 With the mercied, merciful; with the mighty integrious, integrious;
26 with the pure, purified; with the pervert, a wrestler.
27 For you save the humble people and abase the lofted eye.
28 For you - you light my lamp; Yah Veh my Elohim illuminates my darkeness.
29 For by you, I run a troop; and by Elohim I leap a wall.
30 El, his way is integrious; the saying of Yah Veh is refined: he is a buckler to all who seek refuge in him.
31 For who is Elohah, except Yah Veh? Who is a rock, except our Elohim?
32 El girts me with valour and gives my way integrious;
33 He places my feet as the hinds and stands me on my bamahs;
34 he teaches my hands to war so my arms bend a bow of steel.
35 You give me the buckler of your salvation; your right upholds me; and your humbleness abounds me:
36 you enlarge my paces under me; my ankles waver not.
37 I pursue my enemies, and overtake them; I return not until they are finished off:
38 I strike them who are not able to rise; they fall under my feet.
39 For you girt me with valour to the war; you knuckle them under who rise:
40 you give me the necks of my enemies; to exterminate them who hate me.
41 They cry, and there is no savior; - to Yah Veh, but he answers them not.
42 And I purlverize them as the dust at the face of the wind; I pour them out as mire in the outways.
43 You slip me away from the strivings of the people; and you set me at the head of the goyim: a people I know not serve me.
44 At the hearing of the ear, they hearken to me; the sons of strangers disavow me:
45 the sons of strangers wither, and tremble from their borders.
46 Yah Veh lives; blessed be my rock; and lofted be the Elohim of my salvation.
47 El gives me vengeance - subdues all the people under me.
48 He slips me away from my enemies; yes, you lift me above them who rise; you rescue me from the man of violence.
49 So I spread hands to you, O Yah Veh, among the goyim, and psalm to your name.
50 He greatens salvation to his sovereign; and works mercy to his anointed - to David, and to his seed eternally.
19 1 To His Eminence; A Psalm by David. The heavens scribe the honor of El; and the expanse tells his handiwork.
2 Day to day gushes sayings and night to night shows knowledge.
3 There is neither saying nor word where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line goes throughout all the earth and their utterances to the end of the world. In them he sets a tent for the sun:
5 and he, as a groom coming from his canopy; rejoices as the mighty to run the path.
6 His source is from the end of the heavens and his circuit to the ends thereof; and naught is hid from the heat.
7 The torah of Yah Veh is perfect, restoring the soul; the witness of Yah Veh is trustworthy, enwisening the gullible;
8 the precepts of Yah Veh are straight, cheering the heart; the misvah of Yah Veh is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 the awe of Yah Veh is pure, standing eternally; the judgments of Yah Veh are truth, justified altogether.
10 More to be desired than gold, yes, than much pure gold; and sweeter than honey and the droppings of the honeycomb.
11 Also by them your servant enlightens; and in guarding them is a great final result.
12 Inadvertent errors - who discerns? Exonerate me from the hidden;
13 also spare your servant from the arrogant that they not reign over me: and I am integrious and exonerated from the great rebellion.
14 May the sayings of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be pleasing at your face, O Yah Veh, my rock and my redeemer.
20 1 To His Eminence; A Psalm by David. Yah Veh answers you in the day of tribulation; the name of Elohim of Yaaqov lofts you;
2 he sends you help from the holies and supports you from Siyon;
3 he remembers all your offerings and fattens your holocausts. Selah.
4 He gives you according to your own heart and fulfills all your counsel.
5 We shout in your salvation and in the name of our Elohim we raise our banners; Yah Veh fulfills all your requests.
6 Now I know that Yah Veh saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heavens with the might of salvation of his right
7 - some in chariots - some in horses; and we remember the name of Yah Veh our Elohim.
8 They - they knuckle under and fall; and we rise restored.
9 Save, O Yah Veh; the sovereign answers us the day we call.
21 1 To His Eminence; A Psalm by David. The sovereign cheers in your strength, O Yah Veh; how mightily he twirls in your salvation:
2 you give him the desire of his heart and withhold not the yearning of his lips. Selah.
3 For you anticipate him with the blessings of goodness; you set a crown of pure gold on his head;
4 he asks life of you and you give him length of days eternally and eternally:
5 great is his honor in your salvation; you place honor and majesty on him:
6 for you set him for blessings eternally; you cheer him with cheerfulness by your face.
7 For the sovereign confides in Yah Veh and through the mercy of Elyon he totters not:
8 your hand finds all your enemies; your right finds them who hate you:
9 you set them as a fiery oven at the time of your face: Yah Veh swallows them in his wrath and the fire consumes them:
10 you destroy their fruit from the earth and their seed from the sons of humanity.
11 For they spread evil against you; they machinate intrigue; they are not able:
12 for you set their shoulder; you prepare your cords against their face.
13 Be lofted, O Yah Veh, in your own strength; we sing and psalm your might.
22 1 To His Eminence; On the Hind of the Dawn: A Psalm by David. My El, my El, why forsake you me? - so far from my salvation and from the words of my roaring?
2 O my Elohim, I call by day, and you answer not; and by night, and am not silent.
3 And you are holy - you who settles in the halals of Yisra El.
4 Our fathers confided in you - they confided and you slipped them away:
5 they cried to you and escaped; they confided in you and shamed not.
6 I am but a maggot - not a man; a reproach of humanity despised of the people.
7 All who see me deride me; they bust out the lip, they shake the head,
8 saying, Roll on Yah Veh! He rescues him! He slips him away, seeing he delights in him!
9 For you are he who gushed me from the belly; to confide in you at the breasts of my mother.
10 I was cast on you from the womb; you are my El from the belly of my mother.
11 Be not far from me; for tribulation is near: for there is no helper.
12 Many bullocks surround me; the mighty of Bashan surround me:
13 they gape on me with their mouths as a tearing and a roaring lion.
14 I am poured as water and all my bones separate; my heart is as wax melted midst my inwards;
15 my force is dried as a potsherd; my tongue adheres to my prey; you set me into the dust of death.
16 For dogs surround me; the witness of vilifiers surround me: my hands and my feet as a lion.
17 I scribe all my bones; they look and see me;
18 they allot my clothes among them and toss pebbles for my robe.
19 And you, O Yah Veh, be not far from me; O my might, hasten to help me:
20 rescue my soul from the sword; my only from the hand of the dog:
21 save me from the mouth of the lion; from the horns of the reems, answer me.
22 I scribe your name to my brothers; midst the congregation I halal you.
23 You who awe Yah Veh, halal him; all you seed of Yaaqov, honor him; and dodge him, all you seed of Yisra El.
24 For he neither despises nor abominates the humbling of the humble; nor hides his face from him; and in crying to him, he hears.
25 My halal is of you in the great congregation; I shalam my vows in front of them who awe him.
26 The humble eat - satisfied; they who seek Yah Veh halal him; your heart lives eternally.
27 All the finalities of the world remember and turn to Yah Veh; and all the families of the goyim prostrate at your face.
28 For the sovereigndom is to Yah Veh; he is the sovereign among the goyim.
29 All the fat on earth eat and prostrate; all they who descend to the dust kneel at his face; and none enlivens his own soul.
30 A seed serves him; - ascribed to Adonay for a generation.
31 They come and tell his justness to a people yet to be birthed - whom he has worked.
23 1 A Psalm by David. Yah Veh Raah; I lack not.
2 He reposes me in sprouting folds; he guides me beside the waters of rest:
3 He restores my soul; he leads me in the paths of justness for sake of his name.
4 Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I awe no evil; for you are with me; your scion and your crutch sigh over me:
5 you arrange a table at my face in the presence of my tribulators; you anoint my head with ointment; my cup satiates.
6 Surely goodness and mercy pursue me all the days of my life; and I settle in the house of Yah Veh for a length of days.
24 1 A Psalm by David. Unto Yah Veh is the earth and the fulness; the world and they who settle therein:
2 for he founded it on the seas and established it on the rivers.
3 Who ascends into the mountain of Yah Veh? Who rises in his holy place?
4 He who has innocent palms and a pure heart; - who neither lifts his soul to vanity nor oaths deceitfully:
5 he lifts a blessing from Yah Veh and justness from Elohim of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of seekers who seek your face, O Yaaqov. Selah.
7 Lift your heads, O you portals; be lifted, you eternal portals; and the Sovereign of honor enters.
8 Who is this Sovereign of honor? Yah Veh strong and mighty! Yah Veh mighty in war!
9 Lift your heads, O you portals; be lifted, you eternal portals; and the Sovereign of honor enters.
10 Who is this Sovereign of honor? Yah Veh Sabaoth, he is the Sovereign of honor. Selah.
25 1 By David. To you, O Yah Veh, I lift my soul;
2 O my Elohim, I confide in you; may I neither shame nor my enemies jump for joy over me:
3 yes, may none who await you shame; shame them who deal vanity covertly.
4 Have me know your ways, O Yah Veh; teach me your paths:
5 aim me in your truth and teach me; for you are Elohim of my salvation: I await you all the day.
6 Remember, O Yah Veh, your tender mercies and your kind mercies; for they are eternal:
7 remember neither the sins of my youth nor my rebellions: according to your mercy remember me for sake of your goodness, O Yah Veh.
8 Good and straight is Yah Veh; so he teaches sinners in the way:
9 he aims the humble in judgment; and he teaches the humble his way.
10 All the paths of Yah Veh are mercy and truth to such as guard his covenant and his witnesses.
11 For sake of your name, O Yah Veh, forgive my perversity; for it is great.
12 What man is he who awes Yah Veh? He teaches him in the way he chooses.
13 His soul stays in goodness; and his seed possesses the earth:
14 the private counsel of Yah Veh is with them who awe him; and he has them know his covenant.
15 My eyes are continually toward Yah Veh; for he plucks my feet from the net.
16 Face me and grant me charism; for I am alone and humble:
17 the tribulations of my heart enlarge; bring me from my distresses.
18 See my humiliation and my toil; and lift all my sins:
19 see my enemies; for they abound by the myriads: and they hate me with hatred of violence.
20 O guard my soul and rescue me that I shame not; for I seek my refuge in you:
21 Integrity and straightness guard me; for I await you:
22 redeem Yisra El, O Elohim, from all his tribulations.
26 1 By David. Judge me, O Yah Veh; for I walk in my integrity: I confide in Yah Veh; I waver not.
2 Proof me, O Yah Veh, proof me - refine my reins and my heart.
3 For your mercy is in front of my eyes and I walk in your truth:
4 I neither settle with vain men nor go with imposters:
5 I hate the congregation of vilifiers and settle not with the wicked:
6 I wash my palms in innocency; I surround your sacrifice altar, O Yah Veh:
7 that they hear the voice of spread hands and scribe of all your wondrous works.
8 O Yah Veh, I love the habitation of your house and the place of the tabernacle of your honor.
9 Neither gather my soul with sinners nor my life with men of blood
10 - in whose hands is intrigue and their right full of bribes.
11 But as for me, I walk in my integrity; redeem me and grant me charism:
12 my foot stands straight; I bless Yah Veh in the congregations.
27 1 By David. Yah Veh is my light and my salvation; whom dread I? Yah Veh is the stronghold of my life; whom dread I?
2 When the vilifiers - my tribulators and my enemies come on me to eat my flesh, they stumble and fall.
3 Though a camp encamp against me my heart awes not; though war rises against me in this I confide.
4 This one I ask of Yah Veh - I seek after: to settle in the house of Yah Veh all the days of my life; to see the pleasantness of Yah Veh and to search in his manse.
5 For in the day of evil he hides me in his sukkoth/brush arbor - in the covert of his tent he hides me - lifts me on a rock.
6 And now my head lifts above my enemies all around; and in his tent I sacrifice sacrifices of shouting; I sing, yes, I psalm to Yah Veh.
7 Hear, O Yah Veh, my voice - I call! Grant me charism and answer me.
8 My heart says to you, Seek my face; Your face, O Yah Veh, I seek.
9 Neither hide your face from me nor pervert your servant away in wrath; you are my help: neither leave me nor forsake me, O Elohim of my salvation.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me then Yah Veh gathers me.
11 Teach me your way, O Yah Veh and lead me in a straight path because of my enemies.
12 Give me not to the soul of my tribulators; for false witnesses rise against me - such as exhale violence.
13 I trusted not to see the goodness of Yah Veh in the land of the living.
14 Await Yah Veh! Prevail; and he strengthens your heart; yes, await Yah Veh.
28 1 By David. To you I call, O Yah Veh my rock; hush not to me: if you hush to me I become as they who descend into the well.
2 Hear the voice of my supplications when I cry to you - when I lift my hands toward the pulpit of your holies.
3 Draw me not away with the wicked - with the doers of mischief; who word shalom to their friends but evil is in their hearts.
4 Give them according to their deeds and according to the evil of their exploits; give them according to the work of their hands; return to them as they deal.
5 For they neither discern the deeds of Yah Veh nor the work of his hands; he demolishes them and builds them not.
6 Blessed be Yah Veh; for he hears the voice of my supplications.
7 Yah Veh is my strength and my buckler; my heart confides in him and I am helped: and my heart jumps for joy; and with my song I spread hands to him.
8 Yah Veh is their strength and he is the stronghold of salvations of his anointed.
9 Save your people and bless your inheritance; befriend them also and lift them eternally.
29 1 A Psalm by David. Give to Yah Veh, O you sons of El; give to Yah Veh honor and strength;
2 give to Yah Veh the honor of his name: prostrate to Yah Veh in the majesty of his holies.
3 The voice of Yah Veh is on the waters: the El of honor thunders; Yah Veh is on many waters:
4 - the voice of Yah Veh in force the voice of Yah Veh in majesty:
5 the voice of Yah Veh breaks the cedars; yes, Yah Veh breaks the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He has them dance as a calf - Lebanon and Shirion as a son of reems;
7 the voice of Yah Veh hews the flames of fire:
8 the voice of Yah Veh twirls the wilderness; Yah Veh twirls the wilderness of Qadesh:
9 the voice of Yah Veh causes the hinds to writhe and strips the forests: and in his manse all say of his honor.
10 Yah Veh settles on the flood; yes, Yah Veh settles, Sovereign eternal!
11 Yah Veh gives strength to his people; Yah Veh blesses his people with shalom.
30 1 A Psalm; A Song: at the hanukkah of the house of David. I exalt you, O Yah Veh; for you bail me up so that my enemies not cheer over me.
2 O Yah Veh my Elohim I cry to you and you heal me.
3 O Yah Veh, you ascend my soul from sheol; you enliven me that I not descend to the well.
4 Psalm to Yah Veh, all you his mercied; spread hands at the memorial of his holiness:
5 his wrath is for but a blink; in his pleasure is life: weeping stays at evening but shouting at morning:
6 and in my serenity I say, I totter not eternally.
7 O Yah Veh, at your pleasure my mountain stands in strength; you hide your face and I terrify.
8 I call to you, O Yah Veh; and to Yah Veh I seek charism.
9 What gain is there in my blood when I descend to the pit of ruin? Does dust spread hands to you? - tell your truth?
10 Hear, O Yah Veh, and grant me charism; O Yah Veh, be my helper.
11 Turn my chopping into round dancing; loose my saq and girt me with cheerfulness:
12 so that my honor may psalm to you and not hush. O Yah Veh my Elohim, I spread hands to you eternally.
