Psalms 3

ECB(i) 1 A Psalm by David; as he flees from the face of Abi Shalom his son. Yah Veh, how my tribulators abound by the myriads! Many rise against me; 2 many say of my soul, There is no salvation for him in Elohim. Selah. 3 And you, O Yah Veh, my buckler, my honor and the lifter of my head. 4 I call to Yah Veh with my voice, and he answers me from his holy mountain. Selah. 5 I lie down and sleep; I waken; for Yah Veh sustains me. 6 I awe not myriads of people, who set against me all around. 7 Rise, O Yah Veh! Save me, O my Elohim! For you have smitten all my enemies on the cheek bone; you broke the teeth of the wicked. 8 Salvation to Yah Veh; your blessing is on your people. Selah.
