23 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you pay tithes of mint and anise and kammon, and forsake the weightier matters of the torah - the judgment and the mercy and the trust: these you need to do and not forsake those undone.
24 You blind guides who strain at a gnat and swallow a camel.
25 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For outwardly you purify the cup and the platter; but inwardly they are full of plunder and unrestraint.
26 Blind Pharisee! First purify the inward cup and platter, so that it also becomes purified outwardly.
27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you are likened to whitewashed tombs which outwardly indeed manifest beauty but inwardly are full of dead bones and of all impurity.
28 Even thus indeed outwardly you also manifest as just unto humanity, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and torah violations.
29 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees! Hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the tombs of the just;
