For I word to you, that Elohim is able, from these stones, to raise children to Abraham. ⁹ And also the axe is already laid to the root of the trees: so that every tree not producing good fruit is exscinded, and cast into the fire. ¹⁰ And the multitude ask him, wording, So what do we? ¹¹ He answers them, wording, Whoever has two tunics, impart to him who has none: and whoever has food, do likewise. ¹² And customs agents also come to be baptized, and say to him, Doctor, what do we? ¹³ And he says to them, Exact no more than that ordained of you. ¹⁴ And the warriors likewise ask of him, wording, And what do we? And he says to them, Intimidate no one! Sycophant not! And be satisfied with your wages!
