ECB(i) 1
YAH SHUA CONQUERS NORTHERN PELESHETH And so be it, Yabyn sovereign of Hasor hears, and he sends to Yobab sovereign of Madon and to the sovereign of Shimron and to the sovereign of Achshaph; 2 and to the sovereigns north of the mountains and of the plains south of Kinneroth and in the lowland and in the heights of Dor seaward; 3 and to the Kenaaniy from the rising and seaward; and to the Emoriy and the Hethiy and the Perizziy and the Yebusiy in the mountains; and to the Hivviy under Hermon in the land of Mispeh: 4 and they go - they with all their camps - many people - as the sand on the sea lip in abundance with horses and chariots; mighty many: 5 and all these sovereigns congregate; and come and encamp together at the waters of Merom to fight against Yisra El. 6 And Yah Veh says to Yah Shua, Awe not their face: for tomorrow about this time I give them all pierced at the face of Yisra El: hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire. 7 So Yah Shua, with all the people of war, come against them suddenly by the waters of Merom; and fell them: 8 and Yah Veh gives them into the hand of Yisra El who smites them and pursues them to great Sidon and to Misrephoth Mayim and to the valley of Mispeh from the rising; they smite them until no survivors survive: 9 and Yah Shua works to them as Yah Veh said to him: he hamstrings their horses and burns their chariots with fire. 10 And at that time, Yah Shua turns back and captures Hasor; and smites the sovereign thereof with the sword: for formerly Hasor was the head of all those sovereigndoms. 11 And they smite all the souls therein with the mouth of the sword - devoting them - no survivor having breath: and he burns Hasor with fire: 12 and Yah Shua captures all the cities of those sovereigns and all their sovereigns, and smites them with the mouth of the sword - devoting them as Mosheh the servant of Yah Veh misvahed. 13 And Yisra El burns none of the cities standing by their heap - except Hasor only, Yah Shua burns: 14 and the sons of Yisra El plunder all the spoil of these cities and the animals to themselves; only, they smite every human with the mouth of the sword until they desolate: they leave no survivor having breath. 15 As Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh his servant, thus Mosheh misvahed Yah Shua, and thus Yah Shua works; of all Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh he leaves no word turned aside. 16 And Yah Shua takes all that land - the mountains and all the south land and all the land of Goshen and the lowland and the plain and the mountain of Yisra El and the lowland 17 - from mount Halak ascending to Seir to Baal Gad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and captures all their sovereigns and smites them and deathifies them. 18 Yah Shua works war many days with all those sovereigns 19 - not a city shalams with the sons of Yisra El, except the Hivviy the settlers of Gibon: they take all in war. 20 For it was of Yah Veh to callous their hearts - to meet Yisra El in war - to devote them, so that they have no supplication but that he destroy them - as Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh. 21 And at that time, Yah Shua comes and cuts off the Anaqiy from the mountains - from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Yah Hudah, and from all the mountains of Yisra El: Yah Shua devotes them with their cities. 22 None of the Anaqiy survive in the land of the sons of Yisra El: only, in Azzah, in Gath, and in Ashdod they survive. 23 So Yah Shua takes the whole land, according to all Yah Veh worded to Mosheh; and Yah Shua gives it to Yisra El for an inheritance according to their allotment by their scions. - and the land rests from war.
