13 And Yah Hanan the son of Qareach and all the governors of the valiant in the fields go to Gedal Yah to Mispeh;
14 and say to him, In knowing, know you that Baalis the sovereign of the sons of Ammon sends Yishma El the son of Nethan Yah to smite your soul? - and Gedal Yah the son of Ahikam trusts them not.
15 And Yah Hanan the son of Qareach says covertly to Gedal Yah in Mispeh, saying, Have me go, I beseech you, and I smite Yishma El the son of Nethan Yah, so that no man knows. Why have him smite your soul, that all the Yah Hudiym gathered to you scatter, and the survivors in Yah Hudah destruct?
16 And Gedal Yah the son of Ahikam says to Yah Hanan the son of Qareach, Work not this word: for you word falsely of Yishma El.
