Isaiah 17:5-11

ECB(i) 5 and so be it, as the harvester gathering the stalks and harvests the ears with his arm; and so be it, as gathering ears in the valley of Rephaim: 6 yet gleanings survive therein, as the shaking of an olive, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost branch, and four or five in the fruitbearing twigs - an oracle of Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El. 7 In that day, humanity looks to his Worker, and his eyes see to the Holy One of Yisra El: 8 and he neither looks to the sacrifice altars - the work of his hands, nor sees what his fingers worked, either the asherah or the sun icons. 9 In that day his stronghold cities become as a forsaken forest and as an uppermost branch they forsook at the face of the sons of Yisra El: and becomes desolation. 10 Because you forgot Elohim of your salvation, and remembered not the rock of your stronghold, so you plant pleasant plants and seed with strange twigs: 11 in the day, you hedge your plant; and in the morning, you blossom your seed: the harvest is as a heap in the day of grief and of desperate pain.
