Deuteronomy 24:14-22

ECB(i) 14 Oppress not a hireling, humbled and needy, of your brothers or of the sojourners in your land within your portals: 15 in his day, give him his hire, that the sun not go down thereon; for he is humbled and lifts his soul thereon: lest he call Yah Veh against you and it becomes sin to you. 16 Neither deathify the fathers for the sons; nor deathify the sons for the fathers: deathify every man for his own sin. 17 Neither deviate the judgment of the sojourner nor of the orphan; nor take the clothes of a widow to pledge: 18 and remember that you were a servant in Misrayim and Yah Veh your Elohim redeemed you there: so I misvah you to work this word. 19 When you harvest your harvest in your field, and forget an omer in the field, return not to take it: it becomes for the sojourner, for the orphan and for the widow: and Yah Veh your Elohim blesses you in all the work of your hands. 20 When you beat your olive tree, shake not after you: it becomes for the sojourner, for the orphan and for the widow. 21 When you clip the grapes of your vineyard, exploit not after you: it becomes for the sojourner, for the orphan and for the widow: 22 and remember, you were a servant in the land of Misrayim: so I misvah you to work this word.
