¹⁴ Oppress not a hireling, humbled and needy, of your brothers or of the sojourners in your land within your portals:

³⁵ And if your brother who shakes hands with you impoverishes, strengthen him: yes, as a sojourner or as a settler, to live with you: ³⁶ take no usury of him, or bounty: but awe your Elohim; that your brother live with you: ³⁷ neither give him your silver on usury, nor give him your food for increase: ³⁸ I - Yah Veh your Elohim, who brought you from the land of Misrayim, to give you the land of Kenaan and to be your Elohim. ³⁹ And if your brother by you impoverishes and is sold to you; he serves not the service of a servant: ⁴⁰ but he becomes with you as a hireling and as a settler; and serves you to the year of jubilee: ⁴¹ and then he departs from you - both he and his sons with him and returns to his own family and returns to the possession of his fathers. ⁴² For they are my servants, whom I brought from the land of Misrayim: to not be sold as the sale of a servant. ⁴³ Subjugate him not with tyranny; but awe your Elohim.

¹² And if your brother, a Hebrew, or a Hebrewess, is sold to you; and serves you six years; then in the seventh year send him liberated from you. ¹³ And when you send him from you, liberated, send him not empty: ¹⁴ in adorning, adorn him from your flock and from your threshing floor and from your trough: of whatever Yah Veh your Elohim blessed you, you give him: ¹⁵ and remember that you were a servant in the land of Misrayim; and Yah Veh your Elohim redeemed you: so I misvah you this word today. ¹⁶ And so be it, if he says to you, I go not from you! - because he loves you and your house, because he is good with you; ¹⁷ then take an aul and give it through his ear to the door and he becomes your servant eternally: and also work likewise to your maid. ¹⁸ And be not hard in your eyes, to send him away from you liberated; for he has been a double hire of a hireling to you, in serving you six years: and Yah Veh your Elohim blesses you in all you work.

¹⁰ they have him go naked without robe; they take away the omer from the famished; ¹¹ they press oil between their walls and tread their troughs - and thirst.

¹³ If I spurn the judgment of my servant or of my maid when they contend with me ¹⁴ What then work I when El rises? When he visits, what respond I? ¹⁵ He who worked me in the belly worked he not also him? - that one who prepared us in the womb?

³¹ He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Worker; and he who honors him grants charism on the needy.

¹⁶ He oppresses the poor to abound and he gives to the rich only to lack.

⁷ in you they abase father and mother: in your midst they worked oppression with the sojourner: in you they vex the orphan and the widow.

⁷ who gulp after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and pervert the way of the humble: and a man and his father going in to the lass to profane my holy name:

YISRA EL UNREPENTANT
Hear this word, you heifers of Bashan in the mountain of Shomeron - who oppress the poor; who crush the needy; who say to their adonim, Bring, and we drink.

⁴ Hear this, O you who gulp the needy, who shabbathize the humble of the land,

⁵ And I approach you for judgment; and I become a hasty witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers and against false oathers and against those who oppress the hireling in his hire - the widow and the orphan; and who pervert the sojourner and awe me not, says Yah Veh Sabaoth.

⁷ and abide in the same house eating and drinking such as they give: for the worker is worthy of his hire: depart not from house to house.
