¹⁵ in his day, give him his hire, that the sun not go down thereon; for he is humbled and lifts his soul thereon: lest he call Yah Veh against you and it becomes sin to you.

²³ if in humbling, you humble them and in crying, they cry to me, in hearing, I hear their cry; ²⁴ and I kindle my wrath and slaughter you with the sword; that your women become widows and your sons orphans.

¹³ Neither extort your friend nor strip him: nor withhold the deeds of a hireling overnight until the morning:

⁹ Guard that there be no word in your heart of Beli Yaal, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, approaches; and you vilify your eye against your needy brother and you give him naught; and he calls to Yah Veh against you and it becomes sin to you;

³⁸ If my soil cries against me, and the furrows weep together;

²⁸ so that they cause the cry of the poor to come to him; and he hears the cry of the humble.

⁹ By reason of the abundance of oppressions they cause to cry out - to cry out by reason of the arm of the great.

⁴ He who has innocent palms and a pure heart; - who neither lifts his soul to vanity nor oaths deceitfully:

¹ By David. To you, O Yah Veh, I lift my soul;

⁴ cheer the soul of your servant for to you, O Adonay, I lift my soul:

²⁷ Withhold not good from your masters when it is in the El of your hand to work it: ²⁸ say not to your friend, Go and return, and tomorrow I give - when you have it by you:

²² Neither strip the poor, because he is poor; nor crush the humble in the portal; ²³ for Yah Veh defends their defence and defrauds the soul of their defrauders.

¹⁰ Neither remove the eternal border; nor enter the fields of the orphan; ¹¹ for their redeemer is strong: he defends their defence with you.

⁷ For the vineyard of Yah Veh Sabaoth is the house of Yisra El, and the men of Yah Hudah his plant of delights: and he awaits judgment; and behold, oppression: for justness; and behold, a cry.

¹³ Ho to him who builds his house without justness and his upper rooms without judgment; who uses the service of his friend gratuitously, and gives him not for his deeds;

⁸ And being evening; the adoni of the vineyard words to his manager, Call the workers, and give them their hire, beginning from the final to the first.

¹⁹ You know the misvoth, Adulterize not! Murder not! Steal not! Pseudo witness not! Defraud not! Honor your father and mother!

⁴ Behold, the hire of the workers who ingathered your regions - whom you cheated, cries out: and the cries of them who harvest enter the ears of Yah Veh Sabaoth.
