THE MAN OF ELOHIM WITH THE WORD OF YAH VEH
And behold, there comes a man of Elohim from Yah Hudah by the word of Yah Veh to Beth El: and Yarob Am stands by the sacrifice altar to incense: 2 and he calls out against the sacrifice altar in the word of Yah Veh, and says, Sacrifice altar! Sacrifice altar! Thus says Yah Veh: Behold, a son is birthed to the house of David, Yoshi Yah by name; and on you he sacrifices the priests of the bamahs who incense upon you; and burn human bones upon you. 3 And that same day, he gives an omen, saying, This is the omen Yah Veh words; Behold, the sacrifice altar is ripped, and the fat thereon, poured out. 4 And so be it, sovereign Yarob Am hears the word of the man of Elohim who calls out against the sacrifice altar in Beth El, and he sends his hand from the sacrifice altar, saying, Apprehend him. And the hand he sends against him withers so that he cannot turn it back to him: 5 and the sacrifice altar rips and the fat pours from the sacrifice altar according to the omen the man of Elohim gives by the word of Yah Veh. 6 And the sovereign answers and says to the man of Elohim, Stroke now the face of Yah Veh your Elohim, and pray for me, that my hand be restored. And the man of Elohim strokes the face of Yah Veh, and the hand of the sovereign restores and becomes as formerly. 7 And the sovereign words to the man of Elohim, Come home with me and support yourself; and I give you a gift. 8 And the man of Elohim says to the sovereign, If you give me half your house, I neither go in with you nor eat bread nor drink water in this place: 9 for thus he misvahed me by the word of Yah Veh, saying, Neither eat bread nor drink water nor return the way you came. 10 - and he goes another way and returns not the way he came to Beth El. 11
THE DISOBEDIENT PROPHET
And one elder prophet settles in Beth El; and his son comes and scribes all the works the man of Elohim works that day in Beth El - the words he worded to the sovereign, they scribe to their father. 12 And their father words to them, What way goes he? - for his sons see the way the man of Elohim who came from Yah Hudah goes. 13 And he says to his sons, Harness my he burro. - and they harness his he burro. And he rides thereon 14 and goes after the man of Elohim: and he finds him settled under an oak: and he says to him, Are you the man of Elohim who comes from Yah Hudah? And he says, I. 15 Then he says to him, Come home with me, and eat bread. 16 And he says, I neither return with you nor go in with you nor eat bread nor drink water with you in this place: 17 for I was worded by the word of Yah Veh, Neither eat bread nor drink water there; nor return to go the way you came. 18 He says to him, I also am a prophet as you; and an angel worded to me by the word of Yah Veh, saying, Return him with you to your house to eat bread and drink water. - and he deceived him: 19 And he returns with him and eats bread in his house and drinks water. 20 And so be it, they settle at the table, and the word of Yah Veh comes to the prophet who returned him: 21 and he calls to the man of Elohim who came from Yah Hudah, saying, Thus saith Yah Veh, Because you rebel the mouth of Yah Veh, and guard not the misvah Yah Veh your Elohim misvahs you; 22 and return, and eat bread and drink water in the place whereof he worded you, Neither eat bread nor drink water; your carcase comes not to the tomb of your fathers. 23 And so be it, after he eats bread and after he drinks, he harnesses the he burro, of the prophet he had returned: 24 and when he goes a lion finds him by the way and deathifies him: and his carcase is cast in the way and the he burro stands beside it, and the lion stands beside the carcase: 25 and behold, men pass by and see the carcase cast in the way and the lion standing beside the carcase: and they come and word in the city wherein the old prophet settles. 26 And the prophet who returned him from the way hears and says, It is the man of Elohim who rebelled the mouth of Yah Veh: therefore Yah Veh gives him to the lion to break him and deathify him according to the word Yah Veh worded to him. 27 And he words to his sons, saying, Harness my he burro. And they harness: 28 and he goes and finds his carcase cast in the way; and the he burro and the lion standing beside the carcase: the lion had neither eaten the carcase nor broken the he burro. 29 And the prophet lifts the carcase of the man of Elohim, and sets it upon the he burro, and returns it: and the elder prophet comes to the city to chop and to entomb him: 30 and he sets his carcase in his own tomb; and they chop over him, Ho, my brother! 31 And so be it, after he entombs him, he says to his sons, saying, When I die, entomb me in the tomb wherein the man of Elohim is entombed; set my bones beside his bones: 32 for the word he called out by the word of Yah Veh against the sacrifice altar in Beth El, and against all the houses of the bamahs in the cities of Shomeron, in becoming, they become. 33 After this word Yarob Am returns not from his evil way, but returns and works from the ends of the people priests of the bamahs: whoever delights, he fills his hand, and he becomes a priest of the bamahs. 34 And this word becomes the sin of the house of Yarob Am to cut off and to desolate from off the face of the soil.
