Matthew 27:27-31

Diaglott(i) 27 Then the soldiers of the governor taking the Jesus into the judgment hall, they gathered together to him whole the company. 28 And having stripped him, they put on to him a soldier’s cloak scarlet. 29 And braiding a crown of thorns, placed upon the head of him, and a reed of the right of him; and bending the knee in presence of him, mocked him, saying: Hail, the king of the Jews. 30 And spitting on him, they took the reed, and struck on the head of him. 31 And when they had mocked him, they took off him the soldier’s cloak, and put on him the garments of him; and led away him into the to be crucified.
