Matthew 27:27-31

Worsley(i) 27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the hall, and gathered the whole band about Him: 28 and when they had stript Him, they covered Him with a scarlet robe; 29 and having platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they bowed the knee before Him in derision, saying, Hail king of the Jews: 30 and they spit upon Him, and took the reed and struck Him on the head. 31 And after they had thus abused Him, they took off the scarlet robe from Him, and put on Him his own clothes, and led Him away to be crucified.
