Matthew 15:32-39

BIB(i) 32 Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), προσκαλεσάμενος (having called to him) τοὺς (the) μαθητὰς (disciples) αὐτοῦ (of Him), εἶπεν (said), “Σπλαγχνίζομαι (I am moved with compassion) ἐπὶ (toward) τὸν (the) ὄχλον (crowd), ὅτι (because) ἤδη (already) ἡμέραι (days) τρεῖς (three) προσμένουσίν (they continue) μοι (with Me), καὶ (and) οὐκ (nothing) ἔχουσιν (have) τί (that) φάγωσιν (they might eat); καὶ (and) ἀπολῦσαι (to send away) αὐτοὺς (them) νήστεις (hungry), οὐ (not) θέλω (I am willing), μή‿ (not) ποτε (lest) ἐκλυθῶσιν (they faint) ἐν (on) τῇ (the) ὁδῷ (way).” 33 Καὶ (And) λέγουσιν (say) αὐτῷ (to Him) οἱ (the) μαθηταί (disciples), “Πόθεν (From where) ἡμῖν (to us) ἐν (in) ἐρημίᾳ (a secluded place), ἄρτοι (loaves) τοσοῦτοι (so many) ὥστε (as) χορτάσαι (to satisfy) ὄχλον (a crowd) τοσοῦτον (so great).” 34 Καὶ (And) λέγει (says) αὐτοῖς (to them) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Πόσους (How many) ἄρτους (loaves) ἔχετε (have you)?” Οἱ (-) δὲ (And) εἶπαν (they said), “Ἑπτά (Seven), καὶ (and) ὀλίγα (a few) ἰχθύδια (small fish).” 35 Καὶ (And) παραγγείλας (He having commanded) τῷ (the) ὄχλῳ (crowds) ἀναπεσεῖν (to sit down) ἐπὶ (on) τὴν (the) γῆν (ground), 36 ἔλαβεν (having taken) τοὺς (the) ἑπτὰ (seven) ἄρτους (loaves) καὶ (and) τοὺς (the) ἰχθύας (fish), καὶ (and) εὐχαριστήσας (having given thanks), ἔκλασεν (He broke them) καὶ (and) ἐδίδου (was giving) τοῖς (to) μαθηταῖς (disciples), οἱ (-) δὲ (and the) μαθηταὶ (disciples) τοῖς (to the) ὄχλοις (crowd). 37 Καὶ (And) ἔφαγον (ate) πάντες (all) καὶ (and) ἐχορτάσθησαν (were satisfied); καὶ (and) τὸ (that) περισσεῦον (being over and above) τῶν (of the) κλασμάτων (fragments), ἦραν (they took up) ἑπτὰ (seven) σπυρίδας (baskets) πλήρεις (full). 38 οἱ (Those) δὲ (then) ἐσθίοντες (eating) ἦσαν (were) τετρακισχίλιοι (four thousand) ἄνδρες (men), χωρὶς (besides) γυναικῶν (women) καὶ (and) παιδίων (children). 39 Καὶ (And) ἀπολύσας (having dismissed) τοὺς (the) ὄχλους (crowds), ἐνέβη (He entered) εἰς (into) τὸ (the) πλοῖον (boat) καὶ (and) ἦλθεν (came) εἰς (to) τὰ (the) ὅρια (region) Μαγαδάν (of Magadan).
