Luke 1:41-56

BIB(i) 41 καὶ (And) ἐγένετο (it came to pass), ὡς (as) ἤκουσεν (heard) τὸν (the) ἀσπασμὸν (greeting) τῆς (-) Μαρίας (of Mary) ἡ (-) Ἐλισάβετ (Elizabeth), ἐσκίρτησεν (leaped) τὸ (the) βρέφος (baby) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) κοιλίᾳ (womb) αὐτῆς (of her); καὶ (and) ἐπλήσθη (was filled) Πνεύματος (with the Spirit) Ἁγίου (Holy) ἡ (-) Ἐλισάβετ (Elizabeth), 42 καὶ (and) ἀνεφώνησεν (she cried out) κραυγῇ (in a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud) καὶ (and) εἶπεν (said), “Εὐλογημένη (Blessed are) σὺ (you) ἐν (among) γυναιξίν (women), καὶ (and) εὐλογημένος (blessed is) ὁ (the) καρπὸς (fruit) τῆς (of the) κοιλίας (womb) σου (of you). 43 καὶ (And) πόθεν (from where) μοι (to me) τοῦτο (this), ἵνα (that) ἔλθῃ (should come) ἡ (the) μήτηρ (mother) τοῦ (of the) Κυρίου (Lord) μου (of me) πρὸς (to) ἐμέ (me)? 44 ἰδοὺ (Behold) γὰρ (for), ὡς (as) ἐγένετο (came) ἡ (the) φωνὴ (voice) τοῦ (of the) ἀσπασμοῦ (greeting) σου (of you) εἰς (into) τὰ (the) ὦτά (ears) μου (of me), ἐσκίρτησεν (leaped) ἐν (in) ἀγαλλιάσει (exultation) τὸ (the) βρέφος (baby) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) κοιλίᾳ (womb) μου (of me). 45 καὶ (And) μακαρία (blessed is) ἡ (the one) πιστεύσασα (having believed) ὅτι (that) ἔσται (there will be) τελείωσις (a fulfillment) τοῖς (to the things) λελαλημένοις (spoken) αὐτῇ (to her) παρὰ (from) Κυρίου (the Lord).” 46 Καὶ (And) εἶπεν (said) Μαριάμ (Mary): “Μεγαλύνει (Magnifies) ἡ (the) ψυχή (soul) μου (of Me) τὸν (the) Κύριον (Lord), 47 καὶ (and) ἠγαλλίασεν (rejoices) τὸ (the) πνεῦμά (spirit) μου (of me) ἐπὶ (in) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (God), τῷ (the) Σωτῆρί (Savior) μου (of me). 48 ὅτι (For) ἐπέβλεψεν (He has looked) ἐπὶ (upon) τὴν (the) ταπείνωσιν (humiliation) τῆς (of the) δούλης (handmaiden) αὐτοῦ (of Him). ἰδοὺ (Behold) γὰρ (for) ἀπὸ (from) τοῦ (-) νῦν (henceforth) μακαριοῦσίν (will count blessed) με (me) πᾶσαι (all) αἱ (the) γενεαί (generations). 49 ὅτι (For) ἐποίησέν (has done) μοι (to me) μεγάλα (great things) ὁ (the) δυνατός (Mighty One). καὶ (And) ἅγιον (holy is) τὸ (the) ὄνομα (name) αὐτοῦ (of Him). 50 καὶ (And) τὸ (the) ἔλεος (mercy) αὐτοῦ (of Him) εἰς (is to) γενεὰς (generations) καὶ (and) γενεὰς (generations), τοῖς (to those) φοβουμένοις (fearing) αὐτόν (Him). 51 Ἐποίησεν (He has shown) κράτος (strength) ἐν (with) βραχίονι (the arm) αὐτοῦ (of Him), διεσκόρπισεν (He has scattered) ὑπερηφάνους (the proud) διανοίᾳ (in the thought) καρδίας (of heart) αὐτῶν (of them). 52 καθεῖλεν (He has brought down) δυνάστας (rulers) ἀπὸ (from) θρόνων (thrones), καὶ (and) ὕψωσεν (exalted) ταπεινούς (the humble). 53 πεινῶντας (Those hungering) ἐνέπλησεν (He has filled) ἀγαθῶν (with good things), καὶ (and) πλουτοῦντας (those being rich) ἐξαπέστειλεν (He has sent away) κενούς (empty). 54 ἀντελάβετο (He has helped) Ἰσραὴλ (Israel) παιδὸς (the servant) αὐτοῦ (of Him), μνησθῆναι (remembering) ἐλέους (mercy), 55 καθὼς (as) ἐλάλησεν (He spoke) πρὸς (to) τοὺς (the) πατέρας (fathers) ἡμῶν (of us), τῷ (-) Ἀβραὰμ (to Abraham) καὶ (and) τῷ (to the) σπέρματι (descendants) αὐτοῦ (of him) εἰς (to) τὸν (the) αἰῶνα (age).” 56 Ἔμεινεν (Dwelt) δὲ (then) Μαριὰμ (Mary) σὺν (with) αὐτῇ (her) ὡς (about) μῆνας (months) τρεῖς (three), καὶ (and) ὑπέστρεψεν (returned) εἰς (to) τὸν (the) οἶκον (home) αὐτῆς (of her).
