John 11:40-44 Λέγει (Says) αὐτῇ (to her) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Οὐκ (Not) εἶπόν (said I) σοι (to you) ὅτι (that) ἐὰν (if) πιστεύσῃς (you should believe), ὄψῃ (you will see) τὴν (the) δόξαν (glory) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).”

BIB⁽ⁱ⁾ ⁴⁰ Λέγει (Says) αὐτῇ (to her) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Οὐκ (Not) εἶπόν (said I) σοι (to you) ὅτι (that) ἐὰν (if) πιστεύσῃς (you should believe), ὄψῃ (you will see) τὴν (the) δόξαν (glory) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).” ⁴¹ Ἦραν (They took away) οὖν (therefore) τὸν (the) λίθον (stone). ὁ (-) δὲ (Now) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) ἦρεν (lifted) τοὺς (His) ὀφθαλμοὺς (eyes) ἄνω (upwards) καὶ (and) εἶπεν (said), “Πάτερ (Father), εὐχαριστῶ (I thank) σοι (You) ὅτι (that) ἤκουσάς (You have heard) μου (Me). ⁴² ἐγὼ (I) δὲ (and) ᾔδειν (knew) ὅτι (that) πάντοτέ (always) μου (Me) ἀκούεις (You hear); ἀλλὰ (but) διὰ (on account of) τὸν (the) ὄχλον (crowd) τὸν (-) περιεστῶτα (standing around) εἶπον (I said it), ἵνα (that) πιστεύσωσιν (they may believe) ὅτι (that) σύ (You) με (Me) ἀπέστειλας (sent).” ⁴³ Καὶ (And) ταῦτα (these things) εἰπὼν (having said), φωνῇ (in a voice) μεγάλῃ (loud) ἐκραύγασεν (He cried out), “Λάζαρε (Lazarus), δεῦρο (come) ἔξω (forth).” ⁴⁴ ἐξῆλθεν (Came forth) ὁ (the one) τεθνηκὼς (having been dead), δεδεμένος (being bound) τοὺς (the) πόδας (feet) καὶ (and) τὰς (the) χεῖρας (hands) κειρίαις (with linen strips), καὶ (and) ἡ (the) ὄψις (face) αὐτοῦ (of him) σουδαρίῳ (in a headcloth) περιεδέδετο (bound about). Λέγει (Says) αὐτοῖς (to them) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Λύσατε (Unbind) αὐτὸν (him) καὶ (and) ἄφετε (allow) αὐτὸν (him) ὑπάγειν (to go).”
