1 Corinthians 1:19 γέγραπται (It has been written) γάρ (for): “Ἀπολῶ (I will destroy) τὴν (the) σοφίαν (wisdom) τῶν (of the) σοφῶν (wise), καὶ (and) τὴν (the) σύνεσιν (intelligence) τῶν (of the) συνετῶν (intelligent) ἀθετήσω (I will frustrate).”
