Romans 15 Now we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

ABU⁽ⁱ⁾ ¹ Now we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. ² Let each one of us please his neighbor, for his good, to edification. ³ For also Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written: The reproaches of those who reproached thee, fell on me. ⁴ For whatever things were written afore-time were for our instruction, that we through patience and consolation of the Scriptures may have hope. ⁵ And the God of patience and consolation grant you to be of the same mind one with another, according to Christ Jesus; ⁶ that with one accord ye may with one mouth glorify God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁷ Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us, to the glory of God. ⁸ For I say that Jesus Christ has been made a minister of the circumcision, for the sake of God's truth, in order to confirm the promises made to the fathers; ⁹ and that the Gentiles should glorify God for his mercy; as it is written: For this cause I will give thee praise among Gentiles. And to thy name will sing. ¹⁰ And again he says: Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people. ¹¹ And again: Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; And extol him, all ye peoples. ¹² And again, Isaiah says: There shall be the root of Jesse, And he who rises up to rule the Gentiles; On him will Gentiles hope. ¹³ And the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, by the power of the Holy Spirit. ¹⁴ And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. ¹⁵ But I wrote the more boldly to you, brethren, in part as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me by God; ¹⁶ that I should be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest in the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles may be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁷ I have therefore my glorying in Christ Jesus, as to things pertaining to God. ¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any of the things which Christ wrought not through me, to bring the Gentiles to obedience, by word and deed, ¹⁹ in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the good news of Christ; ²⁰ being emulous so to preach the good news, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another's foundation; ²¹ but as it is written: They to whom it was not announced concerning him shall see, And they that have not heard shall understand. ²² For which cause also, for the most part, I was hindered from coming to you. ²³ But now having no longer place in these regions, and having a great desire these many years to come to you, ²⁴ whenever I go into Spain, I hope to see you in my journey, and to be sent forward thither by you, if first I shall be satisfied in a measure with your company. ²⁵ But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints. ²⁶ For Macedonia and Achaia thought it good, to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who were at Jerusalem. ²⁷ For they thought it good; and their debtors are they. For if the Gentiles shared in their spiritual things, they ought also to minister to them in carnal things. ²⁸ When therefore I have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will go by you into Spain. ²⁹ And I know that, when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ. ³⁰ And I beseech you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; ³¹ that I may be delivered from the unbelieving in Judaea, and that my service which is for Jerusalem may prove acceptable to the saints; ³² that with joy I may come to you by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed. ³³ And the God of peace be with you all.
