Sirach 39:1

LXX_WH(i) 1 πλὴν τοῦ ἐπιδιδόντος τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ καὶ διανοουμένου ἐν νόμῳ ὑψίστου σοφίαν πάντων ἀρχαίων ἐκζητήσει καὶ ἐν προφητείαις ἀσχοληθήσεται
Wycliffe(i) 1 A wijs man schal seke out the wisdom of alle elde men; and he schal yyue tent in profetis.
Geneva(i) 1 He onely that applieth his minde to the Law of the most High, and is occupied in the meditation thereof, seeketh out the wisdome of all the ancient, and exerciseth himselfe in the prophecies.
Bishops(i) 1 He that applieth his mynde to vnderstande the lawe of God, doth diligently seke out the wysdome of them of the olde time, and exerciseth hym selfe in the prophetes.
