¹ And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judea beyond Jordan: and the multitude came together unto him again; as they were wont; and he taught them again.

²³ And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness, and all manner of disease among the people.

¹ And it came to pass, that when Jesus had spoken these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judea, beyond Jordan: ² And great multitudes followed him, and he healed them there. ³ The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and say unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every fault? ⁴ And he answered and said, Have ye not read, that he which made [them] at the beginning, made them male and female? ⁵ And said, For this cause shall a man eave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife and they two shall be one flesh. ⁶ Wherefore they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joyned together into one, let not man put asunder. ⁷ They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a bill of divorce, and to put [her] away? ⁸ And he saith unto them, Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. ⁹ But I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except for the cause of fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery. ¹⁰ His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with [his] wife, it is not good to marry. ¹¹ But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save [they] to whom it is given. ¹² For there are eunuchs, which were so born from [their] mothers womb: and there are eunuchs which ware made eunuchs of men and there are eunuchs which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heavens sake. He that is able to receive [it], let him receive [it].

¹³ And he went out by the sea-side, and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.

² And he taught them many things in parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,

⁶ And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching,

³⁴ And Jesus when he came out, and saw a great multitude, was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

⁴⁰ And went away again beyond the Jordan, into the place where John was at first baptizing, and there he abode;

⁷ Then after that he saith to his disciples, Let us go into Judea again.

²⁰ Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I always taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort, and in secret have I said nothing.
