Blessed is he that considers the poor: The LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. ² The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: And You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. ³ The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: You will make all his bed in his sickness. ⁴ I said, "LORD, be merciful to me: Heal my soul; for I have sinned against you." ⁵ My enemies speak evil of me, "When shall he die, and his name perish?" ⁶ And if he comes to see me, he speaks vanity: His heart gathers iniquity to itself; when he goes abroad, he tells it. ⁷ All that hate me whisper together against me: Against me do they devise my hurt. ⁸ They say, "An evil disease cleaves strongly to him: And now that he lies down he shall rise up no more." ⁹ Yeah, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me. ¹⁰ But You, O LORD, be merciful to me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. ¹¹ By this I know that You favor me, because my enemy does not triumph over me. ¹² And as for me, You uphold me in my integrity, and set me before Your face forever. ¹³ Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.

⁷ If there be among you a poor man of one of your brothers within any of your gates in your land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not harden your heart, nor shut your hand from your poor brother: ⁸ But you shall open your hand wide to him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wants. ⁹ Beware that there be not a thought in your wicked heart, saying, "The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and your eye be evil against your poor brother, and you give him nothing; and he cry to the LORD against you, and it be sin to you. ¹⁰ You shall surely give him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him: Because that for this thing the LORD your God shall bless you in all your works, and in all that you put your hand to. ¹¹ For the poor shall never cease out of the land: Therefore I command you, saying, "You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor, and to your needy, in your land.

¹² Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him. ¹³ The blessing of him that was ready to perish came on me: And I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy. ¹⁴ I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: My judgment was as a robe and a diadem. ¹⁵ I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame. ¹⁶ I was a father to the poor: And the cause which I did not know I searched out.

¹⁶ If I have withheld the poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail; ¹⁷ or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless has not eaten of it; ¹⁸ (For from my youth he was brought up with me, as with a father, and I have guided her from my mother's womb); ¹⁹ If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or any poor without covering; ²⁰ if his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep;

¹⁹ Many are the afflictions of the righteous: But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

¹⁹ They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

²⁶ He is ever merciful, and lends; and his seed is blessed.

³⁹ But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble. ⁴⁰ And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him.

³ Defend the poor and fatherless: Do justice to the afflicted and needy. ⁴ Deliver the poor and needy: Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

⁹ He has dispersed, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn shall be exalted with honor.

²¹ He that despises his neighbor sins: But he that has mercy on the poor, happy is he.

¹⁴ The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: But a wise man will pacify it.

¹⁷ He that has pity upon the poor lends to the LORD; and that which he has given He will repay him again.

¹ Cast your bread upon the waters: For you shall find it after many days. ² Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for you do not know what evil shall be on the earth.

¹ Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, while the evil days have not come, nor the years draw near, when you shall say, "I have no pleasure in them;

⁷ Is it not to deal your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor that are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you do not hide yourself from your own flesh? ⁸ Then your light shall break forth like the morning, and your health shall spring forth speedily: And your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your rear-guard. ⁹ Then you shall call, and the LORD shall answer; you shall cry, and He shall say, 'Here I am.' If you take away the yoke from the midst of you, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; ¹⁰ and if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then your light shall rise in obscurity, and your darkness be like the noon day: ¹¹ And the LORD shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make your bones fat: And you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

³⁴ Then the King shall say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: ³⁵ For I was hungry, and you gave Me food: I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink: I was a stranger, and you took Me in: ³⁶ Naked, and you clothed Me: I was sick, and you visited Me: I was in prison, and you came to Me.' ³⁷ Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You? Or thirsty, and gave You a drink?' ³⁸ When did we see You a stranger, and take You in? Or naked, and clothe You? ³⁹ Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You?'

⁷ For you have the poor with you always, and whenever you choose you may do them good: But Me you do not always have.

¹³ But when you make a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: ¹⁴ And you shall be blessed; for they cannot recompense you: For you shall be recompensed at the resurrection of the just."

³⁵ I have shown you all things, how by so laboring you ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' "

⁸ And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: ⁹ (As it is written, "He has dispersed abroad; he has given to the poor: His righteousness remains forever." ¹⁰ Now He that ministers seed to the sower also ministers bread for your food, and multiplies your seed sown, and increases the fruits of your righteousness); ¹¹ being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causes thanksgiving to God through us. ¹² For the administration of this service not only supplies the lack of the saints, but also is abundant through many thanksgivings to God; ¹³ While through the proof of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution to them, and to all men; ¹⁴ and by their prayer for you, who long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.

¹⁰ They only desired that we should remember the poor; the same thing which I also was diligent to do.

¹⁴ Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

¹⁰ For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

¹³ For he that has shown no mercy shall have judgment without mercy; and mercy rejoices against judgment.

¹⁰ Because you have kept the word of My patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to prove by testing those that dwell upon the earth.

¹² Do not deliver me over to the will of my enemies: For false witnesses have risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

¹⁹ to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

²² For such as are blessed of Him shall inherit the earth; and those that are cursed of Him shall be cut off.

³² The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him. ³³ The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

³ Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the noxious pestilence. ⁴ He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings shall you trust: His truth shall be your shield and buckler. ⁵ You shall not be afraid on account of the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day; ⁶ nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that lays waste at noonday. ⁷ A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

¹ A Song of degrees. Blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. ² For you shall eat the labor of your hands: Happy shall you be, and it shall be well with you. ³ Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of your house: Your children like olive plants all around your table. ⁴ Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD. ⁵ The LORD shall bless you out of Zion: And you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. ⁶ Yes, you shall see your children's children, and peace upon Israel.

⁸ O LORD, grant not the desires of the wicked: Do not further his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah. ⁹ "As for the head of those that compass around me, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

⁴ Thus you shall say to him, 'The LORD said thus; "Behold, that which I have built I will break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land. ⁵ And do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them: For behold, I will bring evil on all flesh", said the LORD: "but I will give your life to you as booty in all places where you go." ' "

⁸ For bodily exercise profits little: But godliness is profitable to all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

⁶ And they said to him, "There came a man up to meet us, and said to us, Go, turn again to the king that sent you, and say to him, Thus says the LORD, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that you send to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? Therefore you shall not come down from that bed on which you have gone up, but shall surely die.

¹⁶ And he said to him, "Thus says the LORD, For as much as you have sent messengers to inquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word? Therefore you shall not come down off that bed on which you have gone up, but shall surely die.

⁵ turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: Behold, I will heal you: On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD. ⁶ And I will add to your days fifteen years; and I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for my own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

²⁶ My flesh and my heart fails: But God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

¹⁶ For which cause we do not faint; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. ¹⁷ For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

²⁶ For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because you had heard that he had been sick. ²⁷ For indeed he was sick nearly to death: But God had mercy on him; and not only on him, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

¹⁸ For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the Passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, "The good LORD pardon every one ¹⁹ That prepares his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary. ²⁰ And the LORD listened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.

² Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed. ³ My soul is also sorely vexed: But You, O LORD, how long? ⁴ Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: Oh save me for Your mercies' sake.

⁵ I acknowledged my sin to You, and I have not hid my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD"; and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

¹ Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness: According to the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions. ² Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. ³ For I acknowledge my transgressions: And my sin is ever before me. ⁴ Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done this evil in your sight: That You might be justified when You speak, and be clear when You judge.

³ Who forgives all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases;

³ He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

¹ Come, and let us return to the LORD: For He has torn, and He will heal us; He has smitten, and He will bind us up.

¹⁵ And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. ¹⁶ Confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

¹⁷ His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.

⁷ yet he shall perish forever like his own dung: They which have seen him shall say, "Where is he?

⁶ But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. ⁷ All those that see Me laugh Me to scorn: They shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, ⁸ "He trusted on the LORD that He would deliver Him: Let Him deliver Him, seeing He delighted in Him."

¹² Those that seek after my life also lay snares for me: And those that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.

⁸ All the day my enemies reproach me; and those who are madly against me are sworn against me.

⁷ The memory of the just is blessed: But the name of the wicked shall rot.

¹ Now it came to pass when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had built the wall, and that there was no breach left in it; (though at that time I had not set up the doors on the gates); ² That Sanballat and Geshem sent to me, saying, "Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief. ³ And I sent messengers to them, saying, "I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: Why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you? ⁴ Yet they sent to me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner. ⁵ Then sent Sanballat his servant to me in like manner the fifth time with an open letter in his hand; ⁶ in what was written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu said it, that you and the Jews think to rebel: For which cause you build the wall, that you may be their king, according to these words. ⁷ And you have also appointed prophets to preach of you at Jerusalem, saying, "There is a king in Judah: And now shall it be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together. ⁸ Then I sent to him, saying, "There are no such things done as you say, "but you feign them out of your own heart. ⁹ For they all made us afraid, saying, "Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. ¹⁰ Afterward I came to the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, "Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: For they will come to slay you; yes, in the night will they come to slay you. ¹¹ And I said, "Should such a man as I flee? And who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in. ¹² And, see, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: For Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. ¹³ Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me. ¹⁴ My God, think you on Tobiah and Sanballat according to these their works, and on the prophetess Noadiah, and the rest of the prophets, that would have put me in fear.

² They speak vanity, everyone with his neighbor: With flattering lips and with a double heart they speak.

²⁴ He that hates conceals with his lips, and lays up deceit within himself; ²⁵ when he speaks in a pleasing manner, do not believe him: For there are seven abominations in his heart. ²⁶ Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shown before the whole congregation.

¹⁰ For I heard the defaming of many, "Fear on every side." "Report", they said, "and we will report it." All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, "Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him."

²⁷ And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies to each other at one table; but it shall not prosper: For the end shall still be at the time appointed.

⁵ Do not trust in a friend, do not put your confidence in a guide: Keep the doors of your mouth from her that lies in your bosom. ⁶ For the son dishonors the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house. ⁷ Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: My God will hear me.

⁵³ And as He said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to quarrel against Him vehemently, and to provoke Him to speak of many things: ⁵⁴ Lying in wait for Him, and seeking to catch something out of His mouth, that they might accuse Him.

²⁰ Therefore they watched Him, and sent forth spies, who would feign themselves just men, that they might take hold of His words, so that they might deliver Him to the power and authority of the governor. ²¹ Then they asked Him, saying, "Master, we know that You say and teach rightly, neither do You revere the person of any, but teach the way of God in truth: ²² Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Caesar, or not?" ²³ But He perceived their craftiness, and said to them, "Why do you tempt Me?

²⁶ on frequent journeys, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by my own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

¹³ For I have heard the slander of many: Fear was on every side: While they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.

⁵ Every day they wrest my words: All their thoughts are against me for evil. ⁶ They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.

²⁸ A froward man sows strife: And a whisperer separates chief friends.

²⁰ Where no wood is, there the fire goes out: So where there is no talebearer, the strife ceases.

¹⁵ Then the Pharisees went, and took counsel how they might entangle Him in His speech.

³ Then the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders of the people assembled together at the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas, ⁴ and consulted that they might take Jesus through cunning, and kill Him.

²⁹ being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; being whisperers,

²⁰ For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I desire, and that I shall be found by you such as you do not desire: Lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:

⁷ So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot to his crown. ⁸ And he took him a broken clay pot fragment to scrape himself with; and he sat down among the ashes.

² There are many which say of my soul, "There is no help for him in God." Selah.

³ There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. ⁴ For my iniquities have gone over my head: As a heavy burden they are too heavy for me. ⁵ My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness. ⁶ I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long. ⁷ For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: And there is no soundness in my flesh.

¹¹ saying, "God has forsaken him: Persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him."

⁴¹ Likewise the chief priests also mocking Him, with the scribes and elders, said, ⁴² "He saved others; He cannot save Himself. If He is the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. ⁴³ He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now, if He will have Him: For He said, 'I am the Son of God.' " ⁴⁴ The thieves also, which were crucified with Him, cast the same in His teeth. ⁴⁵ Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour. ⁴⁶ And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" That is to say, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"

⁶³ saying, "Sir, we remember that while He was still alive, that deceiver said, 'After three days I will rise again.' ⁶⁴ Command therefore that the sepulcher be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night, and steal Him away, and say to the people, 'He is risen from the dead': So the last error shall be worse than the first."

¹⁶ And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound, look, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?"

¹⁵ But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: You are waxen fat, you are grown thick, you are covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

¹² And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counselor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.

¹³ He has put my brothers far from me, and my acquaintance are truly estranged from me.

¹⁹ All my inward friends abhorred me: And they whom I loved are turned against me.

¹² For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: Neither was it he who hated me that magnified himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: ¹³ But it was you, a man my equal, my guide, and my acquaintance. ¹⁴ We took sweet counsel together, and walked to the house of God in company.

²⁰ He has put forth his hands against such as are at peace with him: He has broken his covenant. ²¹ The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: His words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords. ²² Cast your burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain you: He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

⁷ All the men of your confederacy have brought you even to the border: The men that were at peace with you have deceived you, and prevailed against you; that they eat your bread have laid a wound under you: There is no understanding in him.in him; or, of it

⁵ Do not trust in a friend, do not put your confidence in a guide: Keep the doors of your mouth from her that lies in your bosom.

²³ And He answered and said, "He who dips his hand with Me in the dish, the same shall betray Me.

¹⁸ I do not speak of you all: I know whom I have chosen: But that the scripture may be fulfilled, 'He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel against Me.'

²⁶ Jesus answered, "It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread, when I have dipped it." And when he had dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. ²⁷ Then after the dipped bread, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus said to him, "What you do, do quickly."

³ But You, O LORD, are a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.

³⁷ I have pursued my enemies, and overtaken them: Neither did I turn back until they were consumed. ³⁸ I have wounded them such that they were not able to rise: They are fallen under my feet. ³⁹ For You have girded me with strength for the battle: You have subdued under me those who rose up against me. ⁴⁰ You have also given me the necks of my enemies; that I might destroy those that hate me. ⁴¹ They cried, but there was none to save them: Even to the LORD, but He did not answer them. ⁴² Then I beat them as small as the dust before the wind: I cast them out as dirt in the streets.

⁸ Your hand shall find out all Your enemies: Your right hand shall find out those that hate You. ⁹ You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger: The LORD shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them. ¹⁰ You shall destroy their fruit from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

¹ To the chief Musician, Altaschith; Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me: For my soul trusts in You: Yes, in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities are over.

²² Let their table become a snare before them: And that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap. ²³ Let their eyes be darkened, that they do not see; and make their loins continually to shake. ²⁴ Pour out Your indignation upon them, and let Your wrathful anger take hold of them. ²⁵ Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents. ²⁶ For they persecute him whom You have smitten; and they speak to the grief of those whom You have wounded. ²⁷ Add iniquity to their iniquity: And do not let them come into Your righteousness. ²⁸ Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

⁶ Set a wicked man over him: And let Satan stand at his right hand. ⁷ When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: And let his prayer become sin. ⁸ Let his days be few; and let another take his office. ⁹ Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow. ¹⁰ Let his children continually be vagabonds, and beg; let them also seek their bread out of their desolate places. ¹¹ Let the extortioner catch all that he has; and let the strangers spoil his labor. ¹² Let there be none to extend mercy to him: Neither let there be any to favor his fatherless children. ¹³ Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following, let their name be blotted out. ¹⁴ Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered by the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. ¹⁵ Let them be continually be before the LORD, that He may cut off the memory of them from the earth ¹⁶ Because he did not remember to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart. ¹⁷ As he loved cursing, so let it come to him: As he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him. ¹⁸ As he clothed himself with cursing as with a garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones. ¹⁹ Let it be to him as the garment which covers him, and for a girdle with which he is continually girded. ²⁰ Let this be the reward of my adversaries from the LORD, and of those who speak evil against my soul. ²¹ But do this for me, O GOD the Lord, for Your name's sake: Because Your mercy is good, deliver me.

²⁷ But bring here those enemies of mine, who were not willing that I reign over them, and slay them before me.' "

⁴ lest my enemy say, "I have prevailed against him"; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

² O my God, I trust in You: Let me not be ashamed, do not let my enemies triumph over me.

⁸ and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: You have set my feet in a large room.

²⁵ Let them not say in their hearts, "Ah, so we have our desire": Do not let them say, "We have swallowed him up."

¹⁷ Show me a token for good; that those who hate me may see it, and be ashamed: Because You, LORD, have helped me, and comforted me.

⁶ Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.

¹¹ The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those that hope in His mercy.

¹³ Sing to the LORD, praise the LORD all of you: For He has delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.

¹⁵ and having spoiled principalities and powers, He made an exhibit of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

⁷ He withdraws not his eyes from the righteous: But with kings are they on the throne; yes, he does establish them forever, and they are exalted.

¹¹ You will show me the path of life: In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

¹⁵ As for me, I will behold Your face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Your likeness.

²¹ Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on You.

¹⁵ The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.

¹⁷ For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: But the LORD upholds the righteous.

⁸ My soul follows hard after You: Your right hand upholds me.

²³ Nevertheless I am continually with You: You have held me by my right hand. ²⁴ You shall guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

¹⁸ When I said, "My foot slips"; Your mercy, O LORD, held me up.

²⁴ Father, I will that those whom You have given Me are also with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which You have given Me: For You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

²² and this water that causes the curse shall go into your bowels, to make your belly to swell, and your thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, "Amen, amen.

¹⁵ cursed be the man that makes any graven or molten image, an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and puts it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, "Amen. ¹⁶ Cursed be he that sets light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, "Amen. ¹⁷ Cursed be he that removes his neighbor's landmark. And all the people shall say, "Amen. ¹⁸ Cursed be he that makes the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, "Amen. ¹⁹ Cursed be he that perverts the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, "Amen. ²⁰ Cursed be he that lies with his father's wife; because he uncovers his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, "Amen. ²¹ Cursed be he that lies with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, "Amen. ²² Cursed be he that lies with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, "Amen. ²³ Cursed be he that lies with his mother-in-law. And all the people shall say, "Amen. ²⁴ Cursed be he that smites his neighbor secretly. And all the people shall say, "Amen. ²⁵ Cursed be he that takes reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, "Amen. ²⁶ Cursed be he that confirms not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, "Amen.

³⁶ And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, "Amen: The LORD God of my lord the king say so too.

³⁶ Blessed be the LORD God of Israel forever and ever. And all the people said, "Amen, and praised the LORD.

¹⁰ Why David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: And David said, "Blessed be you, LORD God of Israel our father, forever and ever.

¹⁸ Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things. ¹⁹ And blessed be His glorious name forever: And let the whole earth be filled with His glory; Amen, and Amen.

⁵² Blessed be the LORD forevermore. Amen, and Amen.

⁴⁸ Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: And let all the people say, "Amen." Praise the LORD.

⁶ Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. All of you, praise the LORD.

⁶ even the prophet Jeremiah said, "Amen: The LORD do so: The LORD perform your words which you have prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD's house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.

¹³ And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.'

¹⁶ Otherwise when you bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupies the room of the unlearned say "Amen" at your giving of thanks, seeing he does not understand what you say?

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

⁸ And each of the four beasts had six wings around him; and they were full of eyes within: And they did not rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Which was, and is, and is to come."

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; ¹⁰ and have made us kings and priests to our God: And we shall reign on the earth." ¹¹ Then I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels all around the throne, and the beasts, and the elders: And the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; ¹² saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing." ¹³ And I heard every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, saying, "Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be to Him that sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever." ¹⁴ And the four beasts said, "Amen." And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him that lives forever and ever.

¹² saying, "Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen."

¹⁷ saying, "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which is, and was, and is to come; because You have taken to Yourself Your great power, and have reigned.

²⁰ He which testifies these things says, "Surely I come quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
